I usually land in Manila, then continue to Butuan City to visit my fiancé and her family. This time we decided to meet in Manila.

I stayed at Hotel Jen for 3 nights, which really was not enough. Free computer access in the lobby, free shuttle that went from the hotel to the Mall of Asia (less than 10 minute drive), pool area that also served drinks, this hotel was on point. The room itself was awesome. I had a king room with a sofa, much bigger than I needed but it's nice to have space. They can arrange airport pickup/drop off for a fee (I think was around 1000 peso). There is a lounge bar on the first floor that had a guy/girl guitar/singing combo. That was very nice way to end my stay at the hotel. There are many places to eat/drink inside that are a bit pricy but that's the price of super convenience. The security was a bit of a surprise (walking through a metal detector at the door) but it was nice to have. It sucks that we live in a world where having this much security is necessary, but the security staff were always very nice and polite, saying "please, thank you, how are you, have a nice day". The area around the outside is not shady looking or anything, the hotel is located on a large, main road. The entire staff is what put this place over the top. They were all super nice and approachable, from the front desk staff to security to food staff, they would all smile and say hello. Their customer service skills and friendliness was seriously impressive. I enjoyed Manila enough to want to return, and when I do, I will for sure stay at Hotel Jen again!

Hotel Jen's staff and service are the best in Manila! This was my fourth stay and I still can't say enough about the excellent, warm and kind service throughout the hotel, from the greeters at the door to the front desk to the housekeeping staff, security, restaurant etc etc. Special kudos and thanks to all the Club Lounge staff who always went out of their way to make guests feel welcome and special!

Initially I wasn't sure about Hotel Jen but was so pleasantly surprised and satisfied. I travel to Manila about 6 times a year and normally I stay in 4 or 5 star hotels in the Makati area. This last trip I had meetings near the US Embassy so decided to try Hotel Jen for the first time. Wow! I really can't think of a hotel in Asia or anywhere with better customer service than HJ. Everyone was so customer oriented, so kind and helpful, knowledgeable, and everyone had happy smiles. The hotel itself is a little dated but the cleanliness throughout, attention to detail, and the excellent service from staff and managers more than made up for this. Kudos to Team Hotel Jen!!! Special thanks and regards to Terens at the Club lounge, and to Beda, Samantha and Jeunesse at the Latitude restaurant. Terens is a winner and her attention to customers needs reflects so well for the hotel. Always went out of her way to help. Samantha and Jeunesse are still interns but they are awesome in how they interact with guests and how kind and helpful they always were. Hope the hotel keeps them when they are ready to work. Beda always gave the extra touch to make us feel welcome and appreciated. Such a kind gentleman. And kudos too to the many others from reception, front desk, housekeeping, security etc. They all made my 5 day stay at HJ one of the best of many, many visits to Manila over the last 15 years. I will definitely come back.

My cousins who always stay here 1-2 times a year recommended us to stay here so I booked 2 rooms for me and my family Eventhough only 1 night we enjoyed our stay. Service is awesome. Brian Herrera Service Mgr FO accommodated us really well coz my husband wore short and my brother wore slipper when we were in the restaurant. It was our fault coz we were very casual. FYI no short , no slipper when you dine in in the restaurant which we understand, not a big deal for us! Also the Front desk agent who check us in he was excellent. He gave us awesome rooms. Sorry I forgot his name. All the FD agent who helped us was awesome! Kiko our server at the 19th floor was friendly and great ! And also Jessica ( I guess that's her name) was awesome too! Also the shuttle driver he was our driver from the airport to hotel and to MOA and back to hotel sorry I forgot his name too! Really close to the airport and mall of asia. Would like to reccomend to all of my family and friends! Looking forward to stay here again next year!

I started pf my Philippine trip here, and it was a perfect place to work into the travelling mode. The room was clean and the staff was great.

Airport pick up was perfect, even for an after 11pm arrival. Check in was smooth, and the singing group in the bar was entertaining, until midnight. A little hard to eat in the coffee shop at that hour, but the waiter was delightful in retrieving menu ordered items from the restaurant (closed to customer seating). The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied, a real treat. WiFi was as promised, and the room was an average well maintained hotel room. The only downside is traffic, but it IS Manila after all..... I would recommend Traders Manila

Easter Weekend Stay, nice view of the bay, close to Mall of Asia.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and to do a little shopping in Manila.

Great Staff! Room was spacious, clean, and the in-room amenities were a nice touch. Hotel prices for services, including in-room dining, the lobby lounge, and the restaurant were very reasonable. Food and beverage specials were good. Only disappointment, and a major one, in my opinion, was the public spaces are tired and in need of an upgrade. Otherwise, a pleasant stay and a staff willing to please.

We were at the hotel with other family members including an infant and 2 older children. Everyone was very happy with their stay. Breakfast was great with good variety and the evening buffet was superb and reasonably priced. Good stuff!

My stay was short, but the hotel was classy, warm and the staff very friendly. The room was large with a comfortable matress and a great view of the cultural center and Manila Bay's famous sunsets. The biggest drawback is that the street outside is lined with begging children and families. While they were persistent they were harmless, and I survived 3 walks down the street with no bad experience other than being forced to recognize the reality of the world's poverty.

Hotel had very nice rooms and facilities. Buffet was reasonable with good food. Location is ok, but no easily accessible ATM, however money exchange was available.
