Filthy carpet! Toenail clippings all over carpet. Obviously had not been vacuumed

The hotel itself was clean and neat, and surprisingly quiet, which was appreciated (my room was on the third floor). Check-in and check-out were simple and efficient. The hotel is affordable, but delivered more than the bare-minimum experience I tend to get out of other similarly-priced stays. As an athlete, I wish the fitness room was a bit better (pairs of dumbbells of the same weight would be nice), but I did like that there was an a/c unit in the room (most hotels set the fitness area temp ridiculously high and you can't do anything about it).

The entry way & stairs were 'dirty' and had little pieces of white stuff on them when we arrived on Saturday afternoon and it was still there when we left on Sunday morning!

Very uncomfortable bed, we both slept terrible. Noisy as well, throughout the entire night. Room smelled bad. Next time I will just spend a little extra for something more comfortable.

No central air, only window units, ours didn't work very well. Small room, but comfortable bed. Not worth $86.

The staff was never at the front desk, always out smoking, and you had to call them to come in. The indoor pool is no longer there, now a conference room? My room wasn't cleaned well, and was much smaller than similar hotels for the same price.

Night staff was great, but the hotel was run down. Dirty floors, musty smell, and in general it was just not well kept . Worst part about it is that the bed was rock hard, like sleeping on a concrete slab . If you are looking for a good nights sleep , this is NOT the place to go. However, if you don't mind sleeping on bricks then this is the place for you .

The comfort and price of the accommodations were just right. We particularly benefited from room air conditioning unit, which provided exterior air as well as cooled air ventilation!

It was clean enough I guess, but don't use your debit card because they will charge you twice without warning.

In town for a basketball trip - daughter stayed on campus at KSU and I just needed a place to crash for the night - it met my standards - checked in, went to bed, checked out, and left town.

Just ok overall to stay in this hotel, no more options arround

Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning was a window unit that worked, but struggled during the day to keep room cool. Breakfast was average but breakfast implements were not well-kept and in need of cleaning (ie., curdled milk on the milk jug spout; gravy was in a crock pot dish that had not been cleaned in several days). WI-FI was free but slow. Staff were extremely courteous. Hotel is in need of renovation (new carpets, fading and shabby paint job) but not yet seedy. Location was great and close to local attractions.

Compared to the other places to stay in the area this was great. It across from the mall, in the middle of 3 grocery stores, and had numerous places to eat within walking distance.

Nice clean rooms. Exceptional friendly check-in and service. Great FREE HOT breakfast and juices. Coffee all day and most of the night. Very convenient location to shopping and university activities. Would recommend this Super 8 to anyone staying in Manhattan.

Room smelled and room was dirty. Hotel doesn't have a elevator.

The hotel is a bit worn down and the staff use way to much cherry-scented air freshener. It permeated everything.

The hotel was expensive but it was game day in Manattan.

Our air conditioner didn't work in our room, but they put us in a different room with one that worked, so it was great. The staff worked with me awesomely to get us taken care of.

It was an average hotel. My bath tub was missing the bar to hold on to. There were holes in the bath tub where the bar should have been. I reported this to the staff and nothing was done. The staff were very nice. I would have needed to rent a car to see and do more in the city. I wish they had transportation to and from the airport.

My recent visit to Manhattan allowed me the opportunity to stay at Super 8. The staff was polite, considerate and helpful. It is an older hotel but clean. My room was small with a television and a refrigerator but no microwave oven. They are still "old school" in that they still use bedspreads. They are never laundered and most hotels don't use them. I never sit or lie on a bedspread in a hotel for this very reason. I removed the bedspread and observed stains on the inside of it. I folded it and placed it on the floor out of the way. I had to ask for extra towels as they only supply two bath towels in the bathroom. Still, all in all, it is good value for the money and I will probably stay there again.
