The two star rating online was accurate. We needed a clean place to sleep for the night. Clean and no bugs. The bathroom was clean but was run down. Same with the furniture, etc.
We spent one night here on our way to Hilton head island. The staff was friendly. The rooms are dated compared to other quality inns. It was a place to sleep and met our needs.
Pool isn’t open and it’s the middle of June. Carpet is dirty. No ventilation in bathrooms.
I am older and a Female. They put me way in the very back, where there was no security. So I was in fear the whole time. My room was filthy. Had to baracade my door to feel safe. I have pictures if you would like to see them
Even though we made our reservations 3 days before we were given a 2 nd floor room. I am 75 & have had heart surgery. I had to haul luggage up stairs plus a dog & cage. Asked for another room but had no cooperation or help from desk clerk.
This hotel is just barely ok. Could be better than ok with some extensive cleaning and better ongoing housekeeping.
