My room appeared to have been recently updated and was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable, all amenities were modern and worked well. Indoor pool with hot tub were nice. Hot breakfast was simple, healthy, and good. Dining area appeared to be recently updated and was clean and nice.

Rooms are clean, quiet and mostly updated. A great place for family reunion or large event - nice grounds, great town.

Nice property. Room was clean and well outfitted. However, from what we could see, it isn't really a "resort." More of an upscale motel. Town is walkable, which is nice.
Room was small, thin walls and ceiling. No WiFi. Good location. Room was decent but too expensive for what it was.

Palmer Resort had motel plus suites in other buildings. Grounds were very well kept. Swimming pool and numerous lawn games set up for use; picnic tables also.
I loved that there was no carpeting in the room thus cutting down on molds & allergens. The shower, toilet & sink had a door closing it off from the drssing area that held another sink. There was also a small refrigerator in the room.
This is a great little property, walking distance to downtown Manchester. It has a nice indoor lap pool, and a 2-person hot tub, as well as an outdoor pool and spa, plus a 9 hole executive golf course on property, free to guests. It is also reasonably close to Stratton and Bromley for skiing. They feature a nice continental breakfast, and all the staff we met was really wonderful, some we met have been working there over 20 years, and they shared the history of the property with us. Will definitely go back this summer/fall for another visit.
I enjoyed staying in Palmer House. It was close enough to Stratton, Bromley and Magic Mountain for a much more affordable price than the resorts on those mountains. The rooms were big. I didn't get to try the Jacuzzi but the heated pool was nice. It was good to have a breakfast that lasts until 10 AM.
All good except no working tv. Just wanted to relax Sunday evening and enjoy tv. Been traveling for 2 weeks without some quiet time. Disappointed.
Staff was extremely accomadating. Room was freshly painted, so there were still paint fumes. Bed was hard. I liked it, spouse didn't. Room was very clean. Had a couple sinks, one was partially clogged. Outdoor pool was cloudy due to extreme heat of temp outside during 4th of July week. Hot tub was green. Thankfully they had a fabulous indoor pool and jacuzzi. They also have a fire pit and chairs, and a chip and putt golf course. They have a Tavern bar/restaurant but we didn't have time to try that.
Ruth at front desk was so helpful and friendly. Parking was ample and easy and room was super clean and beds were comfy.
