I was excited when I found the hotel. It was the second hotel from the entrance to Mont St Michel, which I did not need to carried my luggage everywhere to find it. However, there was no staff at the front desk at the time I arrived. I have to wait a few minutes for a staff to come. It was a quick check in. It should be noted that there is no elevator to the rooms. I don't mind the walking up the stairs, but it was exhausted. The room was very small. One can imagine a hotel in Mont St Michel, you can't expect too much. There was not much space to put your luggage. I used to be a very careful person, but I bumped into here and there in the room. But this was nothing. The worse was there was no hot water in the evening. I took a shower in cold water. In the morning, there was no cold water. I washed my hair in hot water. Hot and cold, force me to make it quick.
Newly remodeled and beat our expectations in every way!
Had to climb up stairs to the room. The room was more spacy than expected. The floor was not that flat. Still very good for the location.
When we first planned our trip, we were undecided about a stay on Mont St Michel, or the usual day trip. The decision to stay paid off more than expected! The night time atmosphere at Mont St Michel is totally different from the daytime crowds. Things are quiet, and easy to walk around. However, the best part is the appearance of the abbey when it is illuminated. This is worth every bit of the price of staying. The hotel was surprisingly well located and easy to find. While the room was ordinary, it was clean and comfortable. As they say, the most important three things are location, location, location.
Excellent view from main house. Comfortable and simple. Dont bring alot of luggage, pack a small bag bc walk up stairs.
Great hotel right at the entrance to the island and just a few flights of steps up to the abbey. Nice and warm rooms. Reception and staff vey very friendly.
