Will never stay again nor recommend. Receptionist were rude & the night manager. Regular Food was ok. Japanese food was very good. Rooms were pretty clean expect bathroom, shower walls were dirty. Again seek other hotels even if you have to pay a little more to avoid headaches and rude faces.

Comfortable stay...great beds, rooms a little small......no shampoo......terrific breakfast buffet. Staff very friendly.

Ac in lobby kept to a minimum. Feels sticky at all times

Need to have a car or take a taxi to go out. Taxis avalible 7x24

Perfect for business trip, close to everything, good price, the breakfast was not perfect but is good.

the meal in the morning is good, the rest of the day go out to eat. they had parties by the pool at night and no sleep until 1am, taxis at the door charge double and give you one price and charge another. the hotel is clean but I will stay at another when I go back. they also charge 6.20 for a coke in the room ice box, staff are nice they can't help what they charge for things. I tried to cancel the last night a week before I got there but the hotel would not get back with us. lazy

Now you have to ask a coffee machine in your room. You got to call cab to in and out hotel

Very nice city view, great food and enjoyable weather.

The hotel is nice, new and modern, quiet at night and has a great pool. could be great but as I was leaving they tried to charge me over $100 for minibar items I didn't consume

My hotel experience was good enough to recommend this place to my friends. I was there for a wedding that took place in one of the conference halls. My stay was great; customer service 4 stars. My only complain was the dance floor in the wedding. I wanted to celebrate a party there but did not convince me. However, this doesn't take away that this hotel is a great place to stay and relax in the swimming pool.

We arrived early around noon and the staff immediately checked us into our room. There is a casino next door for you gamblers out there. The shuttle to the airport is good and the ride is about 15 minutes

acceptable I had an issue with noisy air conditioning the staff moved me to a new room on the same floor. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

I stay at this hotel frequently.. I check in late at night and depart early next morning. Great airport shuttle, Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast.

Breakfast included with good options. Rooms are nice. A little far from the airport.

The front desk staff was a bit rigid and would sort of yes you to death even when communication was not fully understood.

The front desk staff was uncaring, unhelpful and unwilling to work with me. I asked for a shuttle to the airport, they told me that they were none available at the time that I was requesting even though a sign was posted next to them clearly stating that there was availability of shuttles. They didn't even ask me if I need help with my luggage or offer a bell person to me carry my three pieces of luggage. A nice bellman, Rodolfo, was very kind and offered his services and helped me get settle in, called and arranged for taxi service to airport and showed me the restaurant and told me there hours. If it was for the experience with the front desk I would never return to that hotel. Otherwise it was a clean nice hotel but too far away from the airport. I will not be staying in this hotel again or recommending it to anybody. And I speak the language I can imagine somebody that did not speak the language how they would be treated.

I travel to Managua about 12 times a year and have stayed at most of the business class hotels in the area. The Barcelo rates above all others in comfort, cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff.

We were really surpriced that because we did not make the reservations directly with them, there were etra costs for almost everything. For instance, the WIFI costs $12.00 per night per item. We are four in our family and everyone has a I-phone or an Ipad. That meant an xtra charge of $48.00 per day, and the conenction did not worked that well. In addition, we were charged an etra $25.00 per might for my son who is 16, and considered an adult and therefore they charge more. They are below grade when it comes to quality, service, friendly staff. It seemed that everyone was constantly looking for a tip and the hotel is over rated. We then moved to The Camino Real Hotel, and the whole eperience was amazing. The hotel needs to be renovated but the eperience was very possitive, and the staff very accomodating. The food was great. Since our plane was not leaving until 1:00 am, they allowed to check out late at 2:00 pm and then only charged us $20.00 to stay in the room until late at night. It seemed that the staff was always ready to accomodate and assist you.

Nice business hotel in downtown Managua. Clean comfortable rooms. Helpful English speaking staff. Rooms are decent but could use updating. Not as nice as the Hilton Princess but a good value for the price. Depending on traffic can take 15 to 30 minutes to get to the airport.

The Barcelo chain knows how to make a nice hotel and it shows in this jewel in Managua as well!
