Great restaurants, really nice buffet (loads of choice), very courteous service. Great kids club and animation team. Large swimming pool, 1 for very small kids which is great. Ice creams as much as you can eat :) All in value for money is awesome

My family (5 adults & 3 children) recently returned from this hotel & my god what a fantastic holiday experience. There were 8 of us ranging from 2 to 62 & each & every one of us had the most wonderful holiday. It was our third year in a row & despite the name change the quality is still 5*. The amenities for children are brilliant, the food amazing & the staff so friendly & helpful. A very special mention to Victor & his amazing restaurant/bar staff. The place feels like a home away from home with people like them. Cant wait to go back. The Kennedy family

We are a family of 4 currently staying at Zafiro Mallorca and I'm really disappointed with how much the hotel has changed since our last visit. We returned this year given the great holiday we had here 2 years ago. The food has definitely gone down hill, the selection for children is really poor. We sat down to eat this evening, I asked for a gin and tonic to be told I could not have that drink in the restaurant I needed to go to the bar. I'm so annoyed with all inclusive set up with drinks, like I've mentioned already we are a family of 4 but you can only order 2 drinks at a time, I'm by the pool watching the children when hubby can only go and get drinks for 2 of us, absolutely ridiculous we've paid money for these drinks but can't order enough for our family. The room kettle is dangerous, it doesn't turn off so our first morning I found the kettle still hot. We had a letter left in the room today stating sinks and showers are not usable from 10.30am to 17.30pm this Thursday as they are disinfecting the water system. Again ridiculous why not do this in March or April, why pick one of your busiest months??? My youngest has sensitive skin so usually half way through the day he needs a cool shower to wash of suncream. Not hot water tea time for a shower, paid a lot of money to upgrade to a garden room but the lawn has gone so walk mud in to our room constantly. The pool areas are still good for the children but for me this time that's about it. I would never return after paying so much money to stay here. Nothing like it was 2 years ago

We have just returned from here having spent the last week there. We booked through Thomas Cook on an All Inclusive basis. We had a fantastic holiday. This hotel is geared to families so if your a couple then you will not like it. There are several pools which are great for children. The kids pool with lots of slides coming from a pirate ship is around knee deep as the deepest and was great for our youngest who is 3. The next pool is about thigh depth and both our children loved it. They could bob around it and dive for toys from the bottom of the pool happily. They next part of the pool is a huge inflatable dome which you can climb on and jump off my girls and my husband all loved it!! There there is a deeper pool and an adults only pool. All the surroundings were clean and life guards on duty 10-6. There really did police the pools. Always sun loungers available all day. Kids entertainment- out girls (3&6) both loved Bufo! He came on stage every night with the kids and did mini disco with them, presented prizes etc. There were always at least 3 members of staff on stage interacting with the kids. They had mini disco at the end of the day in the pool which was fantastic!! Our girls did pony riding and t shirt painting at the kids club and loved it. Nicki and Ali from the entertainment were the best. Adult entertainment- was great! We did aquafit, rifle shooting, spin and yoga. Evening entertainment was a hit or a miss just depending on what you like. This finished at 2200 which might be too early for some but meant the hotel was quiet at nighttime with no loud music. Food- all was amazing! Especially the demonstration chefs! Omelette man was excellent in the morning. Lots of different foods available. Different theme each night. Lovely smoothies in the morning also. Kids loved going to freezer and picking out your own ice lolly and making your own mr whippy ice cream from the machine. Drink- at times service could be a bit slow but we learnt to order a bottle of wine or a double when ordering. Waiters work very hard band got to know our likes quickly. Cocktails- excellent and served in different shapes glasses not just a nog standard tumbler which made it more special. Huge selection in AI. Hotels grounds- pretty with lots of greenery and flowers through out. Rooms- clean and very spacious. Can't comment on the kitchen as just used it for keeping water cold in the fridge. Bathroom- large walk on shower and bath with sink out with. Bedrooms- comfy huge beds. Over all I would thoroughly recommend and have done this hotel. Already planning another trip here.

Had a really enjoyable 10 night stay here. Overall the hotel is spotlessly clean and has quite a few activities on throughout the day but it's not too in your face. Pools- perfect temperature with various depths making it perfect for younger children, could get busy at times but we did manage to get sun beds everyday even around lunchtime. Apartments - lovely and clean and spacious with a HUGE double bed in a separate bedroom an nice balcony. Bathroom had both bath and large walk in shower. Maid service was 5 times per week. Kitchen was quite small but adequate for breakfasts but wouldn't fancy actually cooking a meal in there. Food - we stayed self catering and only ate at the poolside bar once which we found quite poor and expensive for small portions. We also paid for cocktails one night but they were more like smoothies with virtually no alcohol in - really typical AI though tbf we can't comment on the restaurant food quality. Resort - was a perfectly reasonable 5-10 minute walk to the resort/beach. We didn't use the beach though as was quite breezy with quite a lot of waves. Resort itself quite big with a good selection of bars and restaurants (our favourite was Monaco) and a little train that runs around. Not my favourite resort in Majorca but was fine and catered for everyone with a nice atmosphere. Alcudia beach and marina was about a 10 minute drive which was lovely and we visited Puerto pollensa a couple of times which is just lovely and about a 30 minute drive. Also try to get to alcudia old town which is well worth a visit.

I'm currently staying at zafiro mollorca booked a ten night all inclusive stay with my partner and two children all in all coating just under 4 grand . I've been here a week now and I've complained 3 times too the reception staff as the people Staying above are literally awake All night every night banging moving chairs shouting etc! I went down at 5am The morning Because the noise was so bad each time I've been told the manager will be in Touch still nothing , just been too my room too collect some bits & guess what more Banging ! I know this sounds like I'm Just moaning but when u pay that much for a hotel you expect too be able to sleep comfortable. Everything else is good The food is really nice the waiters and chefs work really hard ! The kids club isn't as good as previous ones at viva hotels We have stayed one guy think his name Is Ali is really good with kids other that that they just leave them sitting there colouring there is no interaction. Whatsoever ! The shows are quite poor we've been lucky and had two good ones while we've been here the pools and the pirate ship are properly what make the hotel! And although we've had a fantastic holiday the lack of response from the reception desk in helpling us find a new room or moving the family above I would not come back too this hotel . Spoke to a few couples and they all seem to prefer zafiro can'picafort

We have just returned from a brilliant 2 week all inclusive stay at this hotel. We loved every minute. Rooms- we booked a 1 bedroom apartment with a garden. We were in block 2 and couldn't have been in a better position. Our 2 children aged 2 and 5 slept in the living room and my husband and I in the bedroom. It was ideal because there was patio doors from both rooms meaning my husband and I could sit out later at night and not disturb the kids by going in and out. The bed was really comfortable and a great size (hard to beat our comfy bed at home!). The bathroom always had hot water and was handy having a bath for the kids as well as the shower. It was cleaned 5 days out of 7 to a very good standard. The only extra touch that would have been nice was if they had replaced water in our fridge on cleaning days. Otherwise, a really spacious space with handy storage. The garden was great. We weren't sure if we would need it but our kids liked to rest/nap in the afternoon which meant my husband and I could sunbathes and read our books in the sun in the afternoon (you might not get the sun if you only had a balcony). The little gate off of the garden was great for access to the pool too. We hired the safe (probably nice if we didn't have to hire it, was 34 euros for the 2 weeks and we felt it was worth it though). The kitchen area is small and not much space to store food- didn't matter to us though as we were all inclusive. Food & restaurants were great. The breakfast is lovely with loads of choice from fruit, yoghurt, bread, pastries, hot items, omelettes made to order, smoothie, cheeses, pancakes and churros & loads more - something for everyone. Id recommend the pool restaurant as it's a la carte - nice to have a change from the buffets. It was always tasty especially the roast veg and goats cheese salad. The kids were always happy with their burgers / nuggets/ fish fingers/ pizzas etc. The evening buffets were also really good. We worried when we first got there that it might get a bit repetitive as we were there 2 weeks but the various themed nights give loads of variety. We particularly loved the Chinese and Mexican nights. There's a chef making little dishes in front of you too so it always feels fresh. Id recommend going earlier rather than later (dinner is 6-9pm) as food was hotter and more choice. We only ate out once in the town and I wouldn't say it was much better and it's so easy when you have 2 little ones not to go and hunt for a restaurant or walk down to the town/ beach. I am also a bit of a worrier about germs etc but they have hand sanitizer stands in the restaurant which I liked:) the staff are really attentive and clean away old plates promptly. Entertainment- the kids team are brilliant. Our 5 year old only went once all day as we didn't want the kids to be away from us too long plus our 2 year old was too little but my eldest absolutely loved it. They cared for her so well. They really do seem to love their jobs and really take an interest in the kids. My daughter was particularly fond of Nikki. When my daughter was at the kids club we went by to check on her a few times and she was having a ball- running around being chased by water balloons thrown by a pirate, face painting, lunch with the mascot 'Bufo' and team games. The other days both kids could do things like t-shirt painting, pony riding and adults can stay if they want to. The mini disco every night at 8 was something we had to plan our dinner around as my daughter didn't want to miss it! After at 9 there is something more for adults and in particular we enjoyed Michael Jackson tribute and a dancers one. One or two of the magic ones were ok but on the whole easy to sit with a nice cold drink and chat watching if you liked. The kids club offered things like balloon animals, facepaints and glitter tattoos and football for the kids if they got bored during the more adult entertainment. There is table service for drinks and the guys do so well but are very understaffed. I would advice you to order a few drinks each as they might not make it back round to you as it's so busy in height of season. In particular, Jorge was a really nice waiter- so friendly and hard working. The pools - brilliant! They were a little cold at first as it was only 25 degrees our first couple days, but then as it heated up outside they were perfect! The pirate ship splash pool is brilliant and the bouncy bubble is so much fun ( daddy enjoyed this with the kids!), the other pools are a great depth with one being brilliant for our 2 year old walking around in without us worrying. The adult only pool is very nice. We took turns just to lie on the comfy sunbeds and have a peaceful swim in a deeper quieter pool. The other pools are noisy and they do have pool discos and aerobics sometimes, but they are great and it is a family resort. C'an Picafort- was nice to have a wander round but it is really geared up for tourists and little rub down in places. The beach is very nice though and clean. It was just too hot for our little guys to stay long. Very busy but easy to find a spot. We didn't venture too far out of the hotel though as that's exactly the kind of holiday we wanted- lazy and relaxing! Especially with 2 little kids who were really happy swimming all day and playing at the park (another great part of the resort and it's mostly shaded too which is perfect). I went to the spa to have my nails done as I ran out of time before we left. I had gel nails done and it took around an hour for 34 euros. It was so nice and relaxing and I was happy with the results. They have lots of other treatments namely massages on offer. We really did have a fantastic holiday and we can be as fussy as anyone else but had very little to complain about. I would say it's best if you have younger kids up to maybe 11/12 but there is something for all. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you very much Zafiro Mallorca for a wonderful, relaxing holiday we all loved.

It was awful Noisey round the pool with a crazy boom box each day, the rooms are like cells and the food was awful. No communication from the staff about the area and the towel situation was ridiculous The alternative day cleaning and room towel changes was dreadful meaning we were constantly using damp towels The bathroom was grim and the kitchen did not have a dishcloth so washing up the few pots available was impossible The garden area was not worth the £35 a night charge and the prices in the shop were disgraceful. The only time we had lunch by the pool the food was undercooked and cold and the waiter did not wash his hands after emptying food into the dust bins The adult only pool was freezing cold and the large pool only for children and inflatables so impossible to swim in. I asked for directions to the bus stop and was sent in the wrong direction. As for the water aerobics and all of the shouting it was ridiculous Not a good hotel poor service and a dreadful lack of that relax holiday feeling Can picafort is a very down beat area, the bars restaurants are not great and we ended up with bad tummy s twice after eating out in various restaurants All in all I wouldn't rush back and certainly wouldn't spend money to visit the area again

This hotel is an ideal place to stay if you are travelling with kids. Nice swimming pools, rooms, friendly staff. Nothing luxury though. Room was clean and air condition worked very well. Room had equipped with mini kitchen, which was nice. Hotel is not so close to the beach, but it is not still far away like nice restaurants. We did not visit hotels restaurant.

The rooms are fine. The area is poor but not a reason to avoid the hotel. The hotel is aimed at young families but if you are adults with or without teenagers this is not the hotel for you. I could write much more as to why this does not suit adults and teenagers but I am not being paid to so will not.
