Very nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only 2 minutes away from the beach and it's in the center of Paguera with easy acess to shops. The hotel has an entertaiment team that provide daily activities. The room was clean, but the furniture is kind of old, and e had a twin bed, wich was not the most confortable. Food was very good and varied. Would go there again.

This is our second visit to a Valentin hotel, but our first visit to this one. A 30 minute taxi journey from Palma airport, which we pre-booked at a cost of 52 euros return. The hotel, like Paguera itself is predominantly German, but that was not an issue, apart from my wife being blonde, everyone assumed that we were German too.The reception, restaurant, bar and entertainment staff were extremely friendly and very efficient. We were staying on a half-board basis (breakfast and dinner) and the choice and quality of food was excellent. Overall, we enjoyed it immensely and would return.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, it is spotlessly clean and in good order. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was of a good standard, breakfast had a full cooked service plus a wide selection of cold meats and cheeses, a wonderful variety of breads and cereals. Something for everyone. Equally evening meal (we stayed half board) was very good, a wide choice of main meals plus a salad bar. The hotel put on themed nights including a Mexican night again all dishes were well cooked and presented, they were constantly replenished. In our room on arrival was a complementary bowl of fruit and a half bottle of Cava, a lovely touch. On our last night we were given a glass of cava each complementary with our evening meal, this was unexpected and well received. The majority of the guests are German so until the staff got to know you, you were addressed in German. Equally the evening entertainment was geared to their taste. The only negative thing to mention is the sun bed situation, guests were saving sun beds and not using them until mid morning or later. It was clearly stated in the pool rules that this was not allowed, the hotel did not enforce this rule, as a consequence of which many guests had nowhere to sunbath.

A nice hotel but not 4*...probably 3*. We were disappointed with the hotel as the facilities and general standard were not what we expect from a 4*. It was very clean and the staff were lovely, nothing a bother but it was like stepping back 20 or 30 years ago. No expanse of marble or shining chrome, just shabby coverings on settees and chairs, however the bar was decorated beautifully but weather so hot it didn't get used as everyone sat outside.

The hotel is around 20-30 minutes by taxi from Palma Airport which costs Euro 45-50 each way. Hotel check in efficient and helpful and room on 9th floor, clean, reasonable size but not huge, air-conditioned and good pressure in shower - lovely view from balcony overlooking pool and onto sea. Free good wifi with p/w from reception. Hotel is used to receiving German guests so main language is Spanish and German in Hotel and even in town. Breakfast is buffet style with reasonable selection where you can sit where you like and Dinner is also buffet style with reasonable selection but you are allocated a table number which you then use for the duration of your stay. There are two sittings for dinner in the evening (6.15 pm& 8.15 pm) - Dining room can get a bit hot as they tend to keep the doors open even though it is air-conditioned. As temperature was around 30 degrees C sitting outside was a little uncomfortable unless in the shade with a breeze. You get shade on the balconies facing the sea all day. There is a kettle, fridge(small), hairdryer in the room and a pull out clothes line on the balcony wall. You can have towels to take to the beach or pool with a 10 euro deposit each and there is also a room safe with key from reception. A little word on pool deck chairs - I'm afraid what they do tend to have towels on them early ( say around 8 am) so best play the game even though there are signs up not to do so (were advised that staff had given up trying to enforce rule !). Beds are with foam memory mattresses but we did not find them comfortable. There is daily evening entertainment by the pool at about 9.45 pm till 11-11.30 pm which was varied daily-singers, groups, jugglers, etc. Food was OK but tended to cater for German tastes rather than international e.g. sugary croissants and quality was OK without being superb. There is a machine for espresso coffee. There is a good bar and also an outdoor restaurant by the pool serving limited food from 1.30 -4.30 pm The first day we had light waves on the main beach which was great for swimming but for the next 4 days the waves were higher which was a pleasure for surfers but which made it difficult to swim. A word of warning - There were lifeguards on the beach till 6 pm when we were there, but when conditions are rough as they were for 4 days they put out red flags advising not to swim and you are not allowed to swim in the central part of the beach and are directed to the far left or far right, due to an undertow current which can take you out, so not advisable for weak swimmers or children with floating beds, etc. The main drag consists of a long street with the usual tourist shops and restaurants and there are several SPAR and other supermarkets to buy water, snacks, etc. nearby. All in all an interesting resort and encourages you to brush up on your Spanish and German.

So, where to start a review on this 4* adults only hotel in a decent secondary position in Paguera, Mallorca. It has to be the title. Our only request on booking,in excess of six months ago, was for a quiet room, we understand people love entertainment but we are early risers and, frankly, it isn't our kind of entertainment.so the quiet room is in an annex behind the main block and our balcony is opposite the main hotel entrance (as shown in photo),so no sea view for us, unlike the main block in front of us;next to a road with a busy bus route with a constant arrival and departure of guests and the (mostly) TUI coaches to collect or drop them off, not to mention the dumping of the empty glass bottles early in the morning in a dumpster within sight of our room: oh, and the revellers rolling in after their night out at the clubs and bars. Not exactly a quiet room......

This adult-only hotel has all the amenities you need; pool, great views to the sea, wifi worked well and clean rooms and no screaming kids. If you take half-board like we did, you will experience variety but yet consistent quality in the food. The hotel is FULL with Germans and/or senior travellers so be warned😉 Staff is very serviceminded and really make you feel welcome. Special thanks to Antonio at the restaurant - you were wonderful!

i booked this as part of a tennis package - it's one of the closest hotels to the Tennis Academy of Mallorca. Hotel is very clean and in good repair but a tiny bit in need of a refurb as it is quite dated. Beds were comfortable (with a choice of pillow softness) and the bathroom spotless - although it could have done with more lighting - especially over the bath! Aircon was a bit erratic but it wasn't too hot whilst we were there. Fridge is free but you can't fit large water bottles in there (which I needed when playing tennis!) The breakfast was exceptional, but dinner (I was on half board) was a bit mixed. As others have said the staff are fantastic and I have a particular shout out for Jasmin at Reception who was very helpful. Yes the hotel is 95% full of German guests which does mean everyone addresses you in German at first but otherwise not an issue. In May there were always pool loungers available but I suspect this would not be the case later in the summer. It is a very short walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach. We were on the first floor so no sea view although facing in that direction.

Stayed here over Easter for a short break . We had been to Paguera for the day and thought it would make a change to go somewhere different. The area is predominately aimed at the German population, as was the hotel. Check in was quick and straightforward. The room was on the small side with no fridge or safe . ( Safety deposit boxes are in reception , they don't supply fridges ) We did have a Seaview ...If you look very hard over the roof tops !! We overlooked the outdoor pool and bar area which on the whole were very quiet .. no music playing and most strangely of all no sun bed bagging !! It just doesn't happen at this hotel... at 9.30am all on the sun beds were available not a towel in sight . All the staff were very pleasant and quickly remembered our drinks orders. The restaurant system leaves a lot to be desired. The first evening we were asked to go in an hour later thanthe en other guests and find the restaurant manager for a table. We did eventually get shown to a table. To be honest it was very crowded where we were and hot but you can't sit outside til May ! Next morning at breakfast it was a lot quieter and we sat at one of the many empty tables only to be asked to move back to where we were the previous night . We moved . That evening the table was being used by someone else so yet again we moved . We weren't the only being messed about ... Some guests had plates in their hands with dinner on them chasing after the manager because they didn't know where to sit . This might be a daft idea .... but do away with the seating plan and let guests sit where they like ??? Try it for a couple of weeks , it can't be anymore chaotic than it is !! The area is well served by a good bus service , cheap and on time . We went to Santa Ponsa, Palma Nova and Magaluf.

This is a very good four star hotel but not in the luxury class. The food and service were first class and the staff always positive and helpful. It is important to get a room as high as possible if you want a sea view. 8th to 11th floor best. The hotel is set back from the beach and promenade so not really suitable for a bucket and spade holiday. It is an adults only hotel which seems to attract the older generation, like myself! Evening entertainment which was not intrusive and opportunities to take part in activities like local walks.
