We stayed here a week. It is a hotel frequented almost exclusively by Germans, in fact the whole is adapted for their habits. For us Italians, the reception was not the best, as soon as we arrived we asked if it was possible to remove half-board, but we were told that it was not possible to do it (you do not know why). Breakfast and dinner that especially satisfies the palates of the Germans with a poor quality. Espresso coffee non existent, one morning I requested one for breakfast, but I was told to go to the bar, despite being next to us. One night back, we asked for a small bottle of water at the reception, but we were told that the bar was closed .. but at least a distributor? Let people die of thirst? Boh! this should be a 4-star hotel, for the Germans perhaps, for the others not even two.

ju st returned from a four day break at the reina and could not find a fault everybody from the manager mr.puigserver, restaurant manager reception staff a most of all our cleaner paquita who did our room to a very high standard.the best hotel staff i have ever wife and i were the only british[scottish]in the hotel all the others were german but did not create any problems as the ones we met were really nice people.on .arrival we entered our room to a lovely bottle of chilled cava and a bowl of fresh fruit then on our final night there was two nice glasses of cava on our table at dinner, this was nice touches by the hotel which i have not experienced anywhere else on my travels, considering we were here out of season the reina puts on a very good show and would love to return at a different time of year

Fantastic ‘adults only’ hotel, close to the seafront in Paguera. The staff were all very happy and looked after us extremely well throughout our week. The buffet food was varied and excellent and we were given the same table for dinner each day, which took the stress out of the usual rush to find a table for dinner. The hotel room and bathroom were a nice size with a large balcony overlooking the pool and sea glimpses. The room had a small fridge and kettle but no coffee, tea or milk sachets provided. However, the hotel is surrounded by many small supermarkets for finding supplies. There was a very nice small bottle of bubbly and basket of fruit ready for us in the room on our arrival. The evening bar entertainment was hosted expertly and as mentioned in other people’s comments, aimed at the 98% German clientelle. We didn’t mind and still enjoyed the evenings and particularly loved the Spanish dancing night performed by a Spanish trio of dancers, which was high quality and great to see local entertainment. The outside pool was cold when we were there but the small inside pool and gym were excellent. The hotel is close to the Mallorca Tennis Academy which is also excellent. The seafront is fabulous in Paguera with 2 white sandy bays and a selection of bars/restaurant/cafes along its front. The taxi from Palma airport is approx 43 euro each way. It is possible to do the trip by bus, but only if you have light hand luggage or backpacks. The number 1 airport bus takes you to Palma City centre, costing 5 euros each, each way. Get off at Placa d’espanya and take the small elevator down to the bus and train station underneath. Then take the elevator down to the lowest level for the bus station. The number 102 bus will take you to Paguera and costs 3.40 euros each, each way. If arriving by hire car, there are 2 small public car parks nearby with free parking.

Its a wonderful hotel located 2 blocks from the beach. It has a full kitchen where you can have breakfast/ lunch and dinner with self service buffet. Excellent food! The place is great for family and couples!

I was nicely surprised by welcome bowl full of fresh seasonal fruit and a bottle of cava from producer dating since 1647 who is providing supply only for the hotel. Every morning, I was spoiled by well chilled sparkling Brut and app 20 different dishes ranging from standard hot breakfast to fresh water melon including home made 5 seeds crisps bread. Dinner was even better. Every evening more than 20 dishes for these with Mediterranean and continental taste and on top of it they were each evening different. Fish was fresh and melted in mouth. I was amazed having traditional ice cream based on water and not on milk as commercial one. For farewell, I was served a glass of the welcome cava. The hotel is very clean and 2-3 minutes walking distance from the nearest beach. For these who do not mind walking app 25 min there is beautiful Cala Fornells. The walk is very nice as it goes through area of residential villas which are in very bright colours and style that reminds me on Gaudi artwork. If you like to have Caribbean beach experience, friendly staff will be happy to book you a shuttle that will take you there in the morning and return back by dinner.

Hotel very clean, staff great, this hotel caters for mostly Germans, be prepared for German attitude, food very good but i would advice to let the rush to the restaurant go and have a nice relaxing drink at the bar.

I can't thank the staff enough for making me feel so safe and welcome, Hotel is clean and well presented, the pool is gorgeous, lovely drinks at and food at the pool bar :) excellent cheesy entertainment in the evening, five minute walk to the gorgeous beach :) Great selection of delicious food at breakfast and dinner, the food is slightly geared towards all the Germans that are there but not to excess, I ate loads! Nice low chairs on the balcony so you can look up at the stars :) people mentioned before about the lack of sun loungers but I think they have rectified the problem as there were plenty to go around, my one criticism is that there are no drinks provided at dinnertime not even water and when I asked for some wine I got a whole bottle which was €16 I think I should've been advised beforehand that they do not sell single glasses of wine, of course I smashed the whole bottle by myself but that's not the point....hick! The lady on the front desk is so lovely and always had a little chat to me, I want to say thank you to the Valentine for making my first solo trip abroad so amazing, I think I'll be back!

I stayed in Valentin hotel chain before, last time it was a family hotel in Playa de Muro and I enjoyed a stay there. This time I preferred adult only hotel in Paguera. So the location is brilliant: 3-5 min walk to 2 sandy beaches, many marine excursions to Port Andratx, Sa Dragonera island and etc. The food is brilliant, no complains, only drinks for dinner are not included. The problem of the hotel is people, it is very German oriented hotel and the most of the guests are smokers. They don't mind to smoke everywhere: near swimming pool, on a terrace. And the territory of the hotel is quite small and crowded, so it was impossible to avoid it. I had the room on the first floor over the terrace and could not use a balcony because the smell came continuously from early morning to late evening. So I advise to avoid this hotel if you are allergic to smoking.

This is my 5th annual visit to this hotel, with a group of friends to play tennis at the adjacent tennis academy. Each visit has impressed me more, and the cleanliness of the hotel and helpfulness of the excellent staff have never wavered. My room was very quiet, and while it could have had a better view, I spent so little time in it that this was not an issue. Last year I had a fabulous sea view, and simply didn't have time to enjoy it to the full as I and my friends friends were playing tennis morning and afternoon, and sampling the restaurants in between! I have reviewed this hotel before and praised it highly...I do so again.

Very nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only 2 minutes away from the beach and it's in the center of Paguera with easy acess to shops. The hotel has an entertaiment team that provide daily activities. The room was clean, but the furniture is kind of old, and e had a twin bed, wich was not the most confortable. Food was very good and varied. Would go there again.
