Stayed here Monday to Friday in a self catering apartment with sea view and it was lovely. Staff were helpful, nice clean apartment and pool area. Hotel close to shops bars and restaurants, lovely view of a cove near by and beach a 10 min walk. Definitely will return.

Room was small but clean, unfortunately we were on the first floor and there was a table just under the balcony where people were smoking so could not open doors to balcony breakfast was not my thing and dinner was the same we did try it but was not worth the money, was a fantastic hotel for families,a bit too loud and wild for me ok if you're young

Positives about this hotel. It's very well cleaned and can't fault it in that way. It's location is quite ideal, far enough away that it's quiet but still very close to everything you want to do in sant ponsa. Just across the road is the solana restaurant which is the highest rated in town on trip advisor, it really is lovely and excellent value. Negatives about this hotel. Payed to upgrade and then again to upgrade the upgrade but was very disappointed with the room. Everything looking very tired and dated now. I'm sure nothing much has changed since it was built. Had a front facing supposedly luxurious room but was on the first floor so didn't get much of a view because we were too low. Looked over the roof of the dining room below which also blocked much of the view over the bay. The walls seem paper thin, you can hear everything from the rooms above and either side. Suppose it is only rated as a three star hotel but still expected a little better. Paid for full board but food wasn't great and really didn't use the restaurant much as there was so much choice in restaurants that we very much enjoyed. If accommodation isn't important to you and you just want a convenient base to walk from then this is the place for you.

Stayed here recently, we paid for a sea view room which was well worth the extra money, view was gorgeous overlooking the pool and sea. Room was adequate although a little dated but clean and cleaned regularly with regular towel changes. Check in was quick and the people on reception were very friendly. Pool area is nice , we always got a sun bed but it was September which was quieter. We found the location to be perfect, right near to the square which had good entertainment on every night and is good for families, some lovely restaurants near by and only a short walk into the centre of santa ponsa, we walked to the beach several times. Would stay again

I visited the reviews here before going on my holidays and felt a bit downhearted, so I tried to focus on the positive reviews instead. I have to say, I loved this hotel. Yes it has some faults, but then most do in the 3 star category, but any faults it had it made up in terms of location. We arrived early evening and I had emailed a couple of weeks prior to ask if we could have a room above floor 4 and we were lucky to receive it. In fact I felt like we were blessed with one of the best rooms in the hotel (although I have nothing to compare to). We had room 520 and the biggest balcony I have ever seen overlooking the sea view. It ajoined to room 519's balcony (with a divider as part of it), but it was fine, totally private anyway. Checking in was pretty smooth, I had read on reviews that staff there were unfriendly, but I am a big believer (as I have worked in customer service for a long time), you get what you give. So the young gentlemen called Chico was on reception and bless him looked very tired (long hours? Overworked? Who knows...) Anyway all it took was asking him how his day was going and it made the whole check-in experience easy, pleasant and cheerful. We were given the key to our room, paid the safety deposit box price and the local tax which was $14,00 for 2 of us and went up to our room. The air conditioning was fine, yes, the living room area where I slept was a little warmer, but my mum's room had two units in there and she said it was nice a cool. The room looked like the photos, well stocked kitchen, yes a little hob, which is what you get self catering generally in 3 star hotels, enough for cooking my pancakes, making tea. We couldn't get the kettle to work, but luckily had brought our own with us. My mum said the beds were a little hard, but she got used to it quickly. I slept on the sofa bed in the living room which was comfortable to me (exception being a little short for my 5"10 height). Yes there were a few flaws, but overall the location was phenomenal, you would probably pay a lot more for that view in one of the other hotels. I never used to pool, but at the time we stayed (early September) no stampede for beds, plenty free. The pool looks lovely and clean. I never checked the indoor pool out or the food areas, but imagine it was of good standard. So if you are going, don't worry. Re. thefts. that did freak me out a bit, but I imagine during peak season most hotels have problems, which is why it's good to pay for the safety deposit box. But bear in mind the box is slim and narrow, so don't take a lot of tech with you. It's a holiday after all, leave Facebook alone for the week, I did and enjoyed it. I would return for sure, but would love the same room or room 519 again. I highly recommend this hotel. FEEDBACK for the HOTEL PROS Great location Clean Lovely pool area Great rooms and balconies CONS Longer sofa beds would be good for taller people Better door insulation to prevent excess noise from noisy holidaymakers on corridors And simple things like re hooking your curtains as 520's needed re-hooking. BUT OVERALL, thank you P.S: Management treat your staff well and give them more breaks and you will have happier smiley staff and happier friendlier reviewers.

We stayed here as a couple for a week self catering and we can't really fault this hotel! The check in was quick & easy and took 5 minutes. The pool area is lovely. The pool is actually alot bigger than it looks in the pictures and the view is absolutely gorgeous! We never struggled to get a sunbed in the sunshine even though we usually headed down about 11am but maybe its because we went out of season. Can't comment on the food as we went self catering. The rooms were a little dated but as we dont spend much time in the room we didnt care much! Overall we had a lovely stay here and would definitely return.

Our holiday to Jardin del Mar in Santa Ponsa started in disaster. After travelling for 10 hours we arrived at the hotel at midnight, feeling grubby and tired, only to be told that there was no room available for us! The gentleman on reception did not even try to apologise which was so frustrating. We paid for a room in that hotel and so I cannot understand why there was not a room available? They then shipped us down to Deya appartments in the centre of the resort. What an absolute dirty excuse for accommodation! No working air-con, dirty floors and bathroom door did not close. We finally got into bed at 1am when the music started on the street - this went on until 6am when everyone started killing each other before eventually it went silent. Surely the least that should have happened was a replacement hotel with the same standard of cleanliness and noise level? When we actually got to the hotel (that we had paid our hard-earned money for) it was pleasant. Clean, good poolside bar and excellent location. I'm not sure if Alpharooms or the hotel itself was to blame for the mix up but I will use neither in future.

Staff at front desk very friendly and helpful Room practical and clean everything you needed I would go back if I ever go back to Santa ponsa I don't think I will didn't like resort one bit butt hotel very good

Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Staff very helpful. Superior rooms excellent but they have 2 types of superior rooms; 1 with bigger balcony but slightly smaller room and other with smaller balcony with slightly larger rooms - we was given the smaller balcony but wanted to change to the bigger balcony which we loved - sunbeds on balcony and huge balcony with patio doors in bedroom and dining/sitting room area which could also be used as bedroom. We have stayed here twice now and would return again. Room wasn't cleaned as often as should be; only cleaned once in a week. Needs better air conditioning in both rooms; cannot feel it at all in the bedroom but believe you can hire fan from reception

Only stayed for a week, the staff here are really helpful and polite, nothing was any troupble. The swimming pool is lovely and clean and with a lifeguard all of the time, everything is kept nice and tidy and the location is perfect. The room was fine, the folding bed was a little doubtful but then we only need a place the sleep. We didnt go half board but we did use the bar by the pool for food and drinks and this was brilliant, again the staff here were great and the food was lovely. Happy to come again because we had such a lovely welcome and we actually felt rested, thank you..
