The hotel offers a really exceptional experience, specially if you want to relax and pamper yourself. Staff is extremely friendly and the whole place is just a dream. Everything is spacious and decorated with a lot of fast. Definitely recommendable!

Amazing views, indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, tennis courts. Great food and very friendly people. Easy to reach from airport or city center. Pulido is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Best mango mousse ever

We went for a long weekend, the hotel is solid but nothing special. Some things are not up to a 5* standard, e.g., no bell boy to help you with the luggage, crowded breakfast area with limited service, small standard rooms. Platinum recognition is poor.

We are Platinum 100 SPG members currently staying at the Sheraton Arabella in Mallorca. It is a well run hotel with very professional staff. Worth mentioning Jonathan doing the rounds at the pool with excellent attitude and always willing to help or Jose and Miguel in the front desk. The hotel itself is located right beside a lovely golf course and in the míddle of probably the best neighborhood just outside Palma Mallorca. It is the perfect hotel to escape from the traditional sun and surf Mallorcan holiday. Highly recommended.

The hotel is 30 Euros taxi ride from Palma airport, in a remote location with 3 golf courses and a sister hotel in the area. We stayed 5 nights and played the 3 courses which worked very well. The pool area is very nice and the restaurant is pretty good. A typical modern day 5 star hotel. I read quite a few of the reviews from the 5 star ones which were the majority to the few 1 star. Realistically someone may have a particular gripe but to rate the hotel below 3 is unrealistic, and 5 is generous. It all depends on what you want from a hotel and a location. It is not near the sea and the only time we saw the sea was from one or two elevated positions on the golf courses where you got a distant glimpse. As you are so far away from Palma it is more convenient to eat in the hotel restaurant and there are only so many nights you would want to do that before you need a change. Service was variable, with some very attentive charming staff and the odd one less so, such is life, but to be fair 90% were great. Poolside service was limited and restaurant service sometimes stretched. On the evening we arrived the young lad on reception and the porter were particularly helpful and welcoming which is always a very good start to your experience. Drinks were quite expensive [normal for 5 star hotels] and the only real gripe was the thimble full of wine served in the main bar. As this was the exception, not experienced in the restaurant or golf bars maybe we should have challenged it. If you are going to charge high prices for wine at least provide a decent measure! The rooms were OK,we were on the front side, of the hotel but the rear side overlooking the pool and golf course would be far better. Good wifi and BBC channels. The 64 dollar question is would we go back. We enjoyed 5 nights and playing the 3 golf courses. We would not rule out going back but it is not an absolute.

My daughter and I love staying at beautiful hotels and the Sheraton in Mallorca is a beautiful property with everything you will need for a lovely holiday. Tennis courts. Volleyball courts. Golf Course. 4 swimming pools..including a pool for toddlers; a pool for older children with slides; an indoor pool in the spa and a large pool in the main pool area. There is also a gym and the property has lovely landscaped gardens. Breakfast was also very good. The crepes were well presented and freshly pressed carrot and apple juice was on offer. A glass of cava too. In addition to the usual continental breakfast spread they had an omelette station and a brunch station with fried chicken, potato waffle fries and grilled vegetables. We also got a late check out. COMPLAINTS 1. Uncomfortable Beds: We spent 2 nights at the hotel and it was very unpleasant. The beds were very uncomfortable and the hotel air conditioning will not cool the room below 21.5 degrees even after manipulating the controls to get it cooler like 18 degrees or 19 degrees. Called maintenance who came twice but didn't bother to follow through. They told us that it will take the air conditioning a few hours to settle at the desired temperature of 18 degrees from 23 degrees which was the temperature of our room when we checked in. When we checked out, with the air conditioning running throughout our stay, our room had only reached 21 degrees. No apology from the management; no sense of concern from the staff and nobody bothered to ask us how our stay was when we checked out. After spending almost $900 on hotel accomdation in 2 days this was unforgivable. 2. Room Type requested was not honoured. We paid $472 for one night and they could not even give us twin beds. They said that the rate we paid did not guarantee us twin beds. After paying $472???? But we should pay an extra €20? An extra charge for guests who paid $472 for a night and did not check in till 3am in the morning? ( check in is at 3pm but our flight came in at 1am) Why bother with the €20 charge? Why not give a complimentary upgrade especially as we were SPG members. 3. Pool Service was terrible. We spent 2 days by the pool. Not once did any of the pool waiters come to us to ask us if we wanted to eat or order anything. Each time we ordered I had to physically get up from my sun lounger and go to the kitchen to order. Getting an ice bucket was also an uphill task. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels were pool service included ice cold towels; cold bottles of water; cold water spritz; and other cold treats. Absolutely nothing at the Sheraton. My daughter had ordered off the kids menu. A starter, main course and dessert. Do you realise that the waiter brought all 3 items at once including her cookies and ice cream? When I told him that the ice cream will melt by the time she had finished her pasta and chicken wings and that he should have brought the dessert after he looked at me puzzled and reluctantly took the ice cream away. Once she had finished her meal and I requested that they serve dessert do you realise he brought back the same dessert bowl with the ice cream all melted!!! I was shocked! After we complained he brought a fresh dessert plate with a fresh scoop of ice cream. All throughout our stay there was only one pool waiter. This should not be the case. At least 2 is required for proper service. Conclusion: I really feel that the hotel accommodation was a real waste of money and we should have been offered a refund especially with the uncomfortable beds and the air conditioning not working. We paid so much money and didn't get anything like a 5 star service.

We enjoyed 7 nights at this hotel. Lovely tranquil buffet breakfast area with a good selection of hot and cold and variety of fresh ingredients. We tended to eat in the hotel most evenings as we had 3 children. Good quality of food and excellent wine list and nice atmosphere. However, we would like to make a special mention about Miguel at the children's designated pool area. He was incredibly attentive to the kids and also very helpful regarding sun beds, towels etc. He was a perfect gentleman and his top class service has to be commended.

I have been lucky to obtain a voucher for a facial and decided to come here on a Saturday to use it after quite a strenuous week at work. I am in need for some peace and tranquility too so also booked an 80 minute massage. As I am here for a couple of hours I thought I would be able to say here for a few hours and have lunch and maybe sit outside by the outdoor pool that is right next to the spa. I absolutely love taking time out and when I was living in the UK used to regularly try different spas and holistic retreats and am in need of finding that on the island since I moved here. Unfortunately, relaxation will not be the case for today as I have been told that I am only allowed to stay here for 2 hours to relax in the indoor pool only inclusive of jacuzzi, steam and sauna - but am not allowed to go to the outdoor pool. If I paid additional money I am able to go to the family pool which offers a complimentary cava (which is very cheap to buy in Mallorca!). I very didn't come here for a family experience-thank you. I'm here to retreat alone. Sheraton, as part of Starwood. I would have expected a little more flex as I would have happily paid additional money to stay here for part of the day but as soon as I got to reception I was told all my limitations which frustrated the hell out of me before I have even started my treatments! The lady was polite and nice and it was very awkward for her. This isn't about her customer service as she can only do what is right by you. I am literally by the indoor pool on my own whilst everyone else is outside. It's hot enough in Mallorca to also be forced to stay in but to then come here get my 2.5 hours of treatment and then pretty much be told my time is up. So this is not really the relaxation I was after.

If you are looking to stay in Palma for a week and you want a good pool this is a great place to stay. It takes 15 minutes in a taxi to Palma old town, Portals Nous etc. We ate out every evening in local restaurants. We stayed at Son Vida last year. The pool was very disappointing. It was curved, full of children etc. We tried the Sheraton Arabella for a week this year because it had a large main pool with an over 16 policy, and a designated separate pool area for children. We were not disappointed. We definitely preferred this hotel. The whole Sheraton team and the service that they provided was superb. Stand out performances included: Miriam and Miguel, Jonathan and Helena, Toni and the breakfast team. The hotel celebrated its 25th anniversary whilst we were staying. All guests were invited. We joined the celebrations when we returned from a night out and were made to feel very welcome. A truly relaxing hotel with amazing service. Our only suggestions would be that all guests are made aware that the main pool area is for adults only. A sign in all languages may help... Lifeguards appeared to be reticent to implement this policy with some of the more obnoxious guests. Also, in an age of the Paleo diet, you need to make it easier for the lovely female chef to provide guests with poached eggs. There has to be an easier way than having to go to the kitchen to ask another chef to do this... Overall I would recommend this hotel.

​We selected this hotel after previously staying at the nearby excellent "Castillo Son Vida" which was very good and part of the same SPG group but very much couples/adults. Interestingly they are both similar price levels, SPG Strategy? Both claim to be five star but the Sheraton is actually a good four star hotel, this review tells you why I say this. Traveling with kids we expected the Sheraton to be much more family oriented but it is not. The clientele was still around 90% couples/adults. Beautiful building and layout. Arrival lacks a concierge / porter to help with luggage and a glass of cava whilst checking in (normal for 5*) The entrance lobby is perfect with reception, bar, TV area and sofas all in one area. The TV here has cable channels whereas the rooms do not. The rooms and corridors are nicely presented plus are generally quiet except for the careless early morning "door bangers" who wake you each morning without any regard. The pool area has 2 options, one for adults and an excellent smaller one with theme park style tubes for children. Only 1 pool attendant encouraged families to be located at the family pool, unfortunately, as this ruined the relaxed adult area. Poolside bar and food service can be erratic, some days attentive/prompt and others a total disaster! Some areas of pool maintenance need improving, rails and edges need cleaning better, see photograph. Food in the hotel bars and restaurant is generally excellent but painfully slow in service and with many order errors. It also needs some more selections, particularly for kids. Staying for 2 weeks you became very bored after 7 days of the same choices. Breakfast is a little chaotic everyday too, the selection and food is good but omelets made from ready-mix in a 5* hotel(?), not acceptable. Eating outside is fabulous but the tables are left uncleared for long periods and / or trays of dirty dishes left piled up, not only unsightly but attracts birds to feed off them (see photographs). The evening restaurants lack atmosphere and need background music or entertainment. Staff can be over familia when you are here beyond 4 days. Excellent wine list in all areas. We are big wine drinkers and noted they regularly went out of stock on top brands every few days. Why do they not stock more of the key items? Muga & Roda at €72/bottle, they are missing opportunities. Overall this is very nice hotel but with a range of flaws. The staff are polite, courteous and enthusiastic but lack training, direction and management. The number of employees needs increasing and with a more experienced mix. Many have badges saying "Just Started" ... in peak season??? SPG members are unrecognized and not informed about discounts and benefits on offer here. Indeed we asked numerous staff and received different answers each time.
