We loved it here! The rooms are very nice, light and clean with huge beds. The food was very good, lunch at the poolside bar was the best meal of the day for us. The all inclusive at this hotel really was good value, everything was included not just local brands. The entertainment during the day was fun, water polo, table tennis, football, shooting and lots of things going on for small children. We didn't really watch any of the night time entertainment. The pool area is small and even in June I had to get up early around 7am to get a bed. Great location, 2 minute walk from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. We also used the car hire that was in reception and had a lovely day out exploring the island

Great first impression on arrival, nice cool glass of cava whilst checking in. Rooms are lovely, very spacious and modern. Bed is large and sofa's made up for kids. Hotel grounds are really nice with well kept lawns and shrubs. Short walk to Cala Gran beach which is a nice beach. Pool area far too small for size of hotel and could not get a bed after 9am, towels just left on beds the remained empty for most of the day so we ended up going to beach most days then had to get a table with chairs on an afternoon!! The pool area was very slippy, lots of excess water that wasn't swept away during the day but also still there on a night. We were disappointed in the hotel entertainment, nothing to keep the children entertained like parrot shows/ magic shoes etc always singers/ musicians with slow music. Drink selection wasn't great spirit wise and bottled beers/ wine were nearly always warm. We were self catering so can't comment on the food. Also we left 2 childrens swimming bags by the pool with arm floats in and my daughters glasses in which were never found ....

Excellent hotel. Lovely apartments and kept very clean and tidy. Excellent reception. Lovely air condition rooms. Excellent choice of food and plenty of it .... we stay all inclusive plus and was well worth it . Nice pools. Excellent children's areas and well staffed. Plenty of things to do from swimming to air rifle shooting ... Lovely beach just down across the road

Arrived at 2 am and several rooms were overbooked. we had to go for another hotel and take a taxi for a 15 min drive. hasn't happened to me once in my life that i had booked a room and was sent away. for a 4 star room a no go

Stayed at this hotel for our family holiday to Majorca. Pros Fabulous staff- Rosario was so helpful during meal times. Claudia was organised and kept the other staff in line around the pool bar. Reception staff courteous and helpful Variety of food Lovely clean modern rooms All inclusive was great you could have anything including premium brand spirits. Pool bar lunch food amazing included in all inclusive package Food van great for kids - popcorn, crepes, burgers etc again included with all inclusive package. Close to the beach Cons Pool area too small for the amount of people staying, on some days I had to get up at 4.30am to get a sunbed and they were still all taken right beside the pool. Evening Entertainment - not the best always seemed to be singers, they need to change to maybe, magicians, comedians on some nights.

Just returned today from a 14 night, all inclusive stay at this hotel and thought I'd add my review. Positives Breakfast - plenty of choice best meal of the day in this restaurant Staff - hardworking and friendly from the staff in the restaurants to the bar staff and ever present management team. Pool bar- best place to eat lunch Location- literally minutes from the beach. There are also three other beaches within a 19 minute walk. Esmeralda is great for the waves. The centre of Cala D'Or is literally on the doorstep of the hotel. Negatives The size of the pool area and sun beds. I've honestly never been to an hotel with clients as bad as they are at this hotel for getting up at ridiculous times to claim a sun bed. 5.40am I was woken to the sound of a man dragging sun beds together. Last night we witnessed people putting towels on beds ready for the morning . This backfired on them this morning when they will have awoken to the heavy rain and soggy towels. And special mention to the man putting towels out at 6am this morning in the rain!! Surely some fairer system can be introduced to stop this ridiculousness. Maybe get rid of all the beds upstairs and get a pool table for the teens? I would return to Cala D'Or but not this hotel. Not because of the actual hotel just because of the pool situation. We gave up trying to get a bed and went to one of the many beaches instead.

Holiday was great. We were half board and as part of this we had breakfast and evening meal included. The food was fantastic with plenty to choose from. On our first day I went to the bar and picked up 6 small bottles of water, assuming they would not cost that much... over €12 later I was quite disappointted. My fault for not checking the price though. I Stayed here with my wife, 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter and I would say the accommodation was perfect. The air conditioning was a life saver as it was around 40 degrees outside. There is not enough Sun beds for the size of the complex and by 7am every one was taken with a towel on it.... no people however. On the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

Ok, so I'll keep it short & sweet Pros Fantastic room, huge bed, well serviced Pleasant staff Nice pool area for toddlers Well kept grounds Quiet room (Above reception) Palma airport was well organised and great for the kids on the way home with plenty of play areas Cons Very busy and congested (More space required for sun loungers etc) Beaches are incredibly busy (Due to them being small) Cala D'or is also very busy and lacks a coast line walk (All bars etc are in land) Large beers are the same size as small ones yet cost more... didn't bother questioning it, just bought small beers once we noticed that although the glasses were different they held the same! Conclusion Much preferred Cala Bona or Alcudia from previous years due to the crowding on the beaches and around the pool but this is a pleasant hotel.

when we arrived at the hotel apartments we were not offered the complimentary cava but as being not ones to complain we let it go. One of the reasons for this is that we were all inclusive and we knew we would make that one drink up. we were greeted by very friendly staff and all the paper work was sorted out swiftly and then we were off to our room. when we got to the room we were surprised at how big it was and it was spotlessly clean. Ok so the kids had to sleep on the sofa but this was perfectly adequate as the made very good comfy beds and to be honest we were out more that we were in so we did not really sit on them. The buffet restaurant catered for all with breakfast, offering food from fruits, yogurt to pastries and hot food(bacon, eggs etc). And then at lunch it was just as good. In the evenings it was themed food nights which made it more interesting, T This was not the only place to eat. There was cafe Veri, or the poolside bar. Here you could get everything from salads to steaks, all freshly prepared by the most amazing chef. The kitchen was open so you could see him work and the all the food from the grill was bbq. Then there is Picco's the posh nosh place. Again excellent food, Italian and Japanese. The pool was nice but could get overcrowded very quickly and if you were not up early to get your sun loungers the you were out of luck. The pool has a lifeguard and a towel service. So if you found the pool to crowded then you could take the short walk to the beach and battle it out for space there. It is a beautiful beach set into a secluded cove but is very popular. if you want to walk into Cala d'or then you are at the mercy of endless shops and restaurants and bars so you will not go hungry or thirsty. For a good walk from the hotel, head to the marina and relax with the rich in any of the many bars. We highly recomdend the house of champagne for its stunning views All the staff at the hotel, from the management to the cleaners, pool staff, ground staff and the bar staff and the entertainment crew will bend over backwards to make your stay as enjoyable as it can. Paco, Jose and the rest of the bar staff are so polite and accommodating from morning till night and they work so hard. Every night there is entertainment at the pool stage. This is organised by Paulo and his excellent team of entertainers. during the day they will also put on other activities for adults and there is a kids club so you can have some adult time. All in all this is an excellent hotel with excellent people to make an excellent holiday. We are looking to book for next year!!

We were not aware of the amount of children at this hotel. We found it annoying that children attacked the Food buffet without parental guiding and sometimes more Food were carried out than in from the Kitchen. No or very little respect for the Food both from children and parents. All sunbeds were taken long before eight o clock in the morning, not by People but by towels. This is not acceptable.
