I was abit worried after reading some of the reviews, especially after booking our first holiday with my in laws who are not used to this type of holiday. However I need not have worried. The hotel was fab, lovely room, great view (we upgraded to a pool room and so glad we did), food and staff lovely. Swimming pool and entertainment was fab for the kiddies, my two children loved it. The hotel was mainly full of German guests which didn’t bother us but my son did miss not being able to make friends due to the language barrier. Most of the staff spoke English though and the kids entertainment most nights was in a variety of languages which was my main concern, although a couple of nights did seem to be more in German however my children still enjoyed it. The food was lovely, some say repetitive but what do you expect in all inclusive hotels, the only thing I would say is that the food dishes are not always labelled which i felt it should be for a 4 star hotel. We did go to the bull steak restaurant over the road which is included but we weren’t impressed. Starter came out wrong to which the waiter started to argue that i hadn’t ordered what I said I had, until he checked and realised I had, however no apology and then discussions with other staff about it before actually telling the chef! Mains also came out incorrect but we couldn’t be bothered to say anything and decided the buffet restaurant was much nicer! Staff friendlier too. All in all I would say this is a fab hotel with lovely staff, I would defo recommend to others, and it got a thumbs up from the in laws (who I thought were going to hate an all inclusive resort!)
We had booked for a family of 10 with Love holidays and been told we could have 3 rooms on lower level as were worried about having a balcony. So on arrival we were given 3 rooms on the top level,as my son was so worried about having a top floor. They offered him a ground floor room with the addition of 2 sun beds and called it a premier room and charged him £175.00 more for the 10 days and the sun does not shine in their garden. The room was identical to a normal room. That was the start It does not cater for english in my view as we have traveled lots of all inclusives over the years and this was by far the worst one I will make a list for people to read of some of the things we found here 1/ On arrival you must take all your cases to your room yourself 2/In your room you get 1 bottle of water a coke and a orange drink and that's it for the rest of your stay as you have to go to the bars and collect your own water from then on.If you want to get a drink or a bottle of water after 10.30 in the morning you have to walk to the end of the complex as there is not any nearer 3/ the satellite tv has 65 channels you have Sky news repeated every 15 mins that is it for the english 4/When we booked our holiday we were told we had air condition ,not true it was not switched on.We asked in reception about it and was told it is illegal to switch it on unless it was 26c The rooms were very hot and on the night before we left they gave us a fan. you could not open your doors as a stenche from the sewer fill your room with an awful smell. 5/Our hair drier was not fixed for 3 days and the sink took 15 minutes to drain Inside the shower which was a larger one there is nothing to hold onto if you slipped or nowhere to put your shampo etc Also in the disabled toilets there are no grab rails 6/The food was ok but very repetitive. The staff was friendly My wife took the children to lunch and were eating she asked a member of staff if she could have a cup of tea in which she was told they have the milk and the hot water but would have to go to the pool bar [at the end of the complex] to get a tea bag.I find this so bad as my wife struggles to walk that far as she has disabilities 7/In the evening as you sit outside the restaurant the waiters will do anything rather than take your order so you end up queuing up at the bar to get your own drinks apart from Jose who we found to be the best member of staff they had he would help you If the children tried to join in they could not understand anything what was going on as there was no english spoken and on one occasion not allowed to join in as they were not at the children's club in the day 8/The bar outside the restaurant is not far from which looks like a stagnant pool of water which runs round the hotel and is swarmed with mosquitoes at night and they bite You can bye repellent across the road at £9 a bottle 9/We went to the steak bar across the road this is the a la carte which can be used once during your stay .we area family of 6 adults and 4 children. The food came out in different stages as they had the orders mixed up main meals were coming out before starters this took 3hrs 15 minutes. we returned to the hotel bar to collect our water for our rooms and it was closed at 11.20 as it should be open until midnight and no staff there to be seen After all the things we had gone wrong we spoke to the under manager about at least getting the money back my son had to spend just to keep his children safe. The under manager said he would do his best for us and made lots of notes he also said could he give us a meal in the italian restaurant as we had so much grief there we did go and have pizzas and burgers and a bottle of wine etc. In the morning as my son checked out he was told they would give him nothing and also made sign a letter saying they had given us compensation in having a pizza Love holidays did not mention the fact that you would be charged £30 each for tax as your arrived This is the worst 4 star we have stopped at in all my travels it totally geared up for german families
We stayed here on the 9th May 3018 for 1week. On arrival the hotel looked clean and the reception staff friendly and helpful. There were drinks orange juice and cava on a table located in the reception area However none was available to help yourself and neither were you offered any. When we have been to other 4 star hotels this has been offered as part of the greeting Neither was we asked if we wanted any help with our luggage to our room. When we got to the room it was clean and tidy and a good size apartment. The beds were very comfy and for someone who suffers with lower back issues this was appreciated. Whilst there is a kitchen area in the apartment there was no kettle or tea / coffee provided this was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. We also had to pay for the use of a safety deposit box when again you would expect this to be free. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food in the main restaurant was overall good quality. Though it did seem very repetitive. On a positive note the pool bar did serve a good selection of food other than the usual sandwiches and hot dogs etc. We did use the Italian Giardino Fusion restaurant one evening and found the staff there less friendly and the food we ate was not as good quality as the main restaurant. The kids club was not great it seemed very German orientated and no one really spoke in English the entertainment was pretty poor and unless your children took part in the activities during the day there was no opportunity for them to be on stage or stand near the mascot ”woogie” and have their photo took which was a bit disappointing for our 4 yr old boy. The hotel was fairly busy with about 95% of the guests being German. I don’t have an issue with this but felt sorry for our little boy who couldn’t interact with other children due to the language issue. Overall a good hotel and if you are German you may rate it higher.
Stayed here to do the M312 bike race and it was absolutely perfect. Incredibly welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Even a 5am pre race breakfast. Can’t recommend highly enough. Will definitely be using again next year.
We stayed for a long weekend as my brother was taking in part in the Majorca 312 bike ride. The hotel is stunning. The beach is gorgeous and so close, accessed by a short pathway. We had a gorgeous apartment with private garden and could see the sea. All staff were wonderful and helpful and spoke fantastic English. Loved my stay here, am planning my next trip already!
Stayed over Easter, for one week, with 2 kids. The lateral sea view apartment is highly recommendable and worth every penny. The private rooftop Jacuzzi is super, as is the soft recamiere. Service staff in the restaurant was helpful, friendly and fast. Room was spacious and cleaned thoroughly each day. Food selection for the various buffets was top notch. Extra points for preparing pasta and sauces fresh on open fire. It was too cool/fresh to use the outdoor hotel pools but the indoor pools and spa were just great. Great location on the Northeast coast to explore the natural beauty of this part of the island. Can't say nothing but the best about this hotel.
I have chosen this hotel based on bad reviews. Somebody was complaining about the children's noise at the pool... But basically most of the reviews were good! We had spent GREAT time there! We'll go back!
Excellent rooms, excellent food, enough sun-beds, quiet and delicios. We are happy about our holidays. Eating at the steak-house is NOT necessery. The hotel fodd is excellent. Very nice bathroom and sleeping room.
The hotel has a nice pool area with lots of sun chairs, properly a little too much because there wasn't much space between them. The restaurants(pool and dining) has good capacity and efficient personal. The food is a buffet and the quality is okay (Not great). The rooms(4102 and 4104) we got where large 2 rooms apartment’s with a small kitchen. They were clean except for 4104 which was invaded by ants. The locations of these rooms are in the block 4 which is at the entrance of the hotel and close to the road. This gave some minor noise problems in the mornings related garbage renovation from the hotel and restaurants nearby. The beach nearby (20 meters) is of very good quality. There where and entertainment group connected to the hotel, which gave a good variety of entertainment for different age-groups.
This was a great find for our last day in Majorca after leaving our villa , pending flight home. Hugely busy tourist strip but this is just by Parc Naturale so relatively quiet, yet easy location. Impressive entrance , free champagne / orange juice on arrival. Only issuewas that we needed paper copy of booking , luckily able to e mail directly . The receptionist Jessica was fantastic really helpful and kind . We had arrived too early before room was ready could have checked in with luggage but we opted to go exploring . She gave us a huge range of advice on where to go and drew on map, much appreciated. Our room was upgraded to frontline block , so easier for beach . All facilities , pools and bars all looked pristine and well kept . Room was contemporary modern, stylish and pristine , with balcony . Double bedroom , stylish bathroom with sliding glass doors and kitchenette with fridge microwave and hob. Pools were good for keeping cool in and having fun . It's also on the beach , a short walk . Narrow sort sand beach with great views of the bay . Rather a lot of the standard hotel fixed wooden/ reed fixed sun umbrella , walk slightly further along( to the left ) and its uncrowded( relatively ) and just chill. Sea easy to swim in , safe for kids fairly shallow and no stones . Easy to get back to hotel . Bit pricey really but we thought what the hell for our last day .
