Spent a week at the OLA Tomir from the 7th October.. great location near the port, the staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful in every department.. rooms are great as they have recently been refurbished, modern with good facilities and sea views.. the large pool area and bar are also nicely furnished and clean... the good points.... The not so good points.... when we booked our break we booked a cot bed for our baby however upon arrival we were told we would have to pay 42 euros for this and when it was brought to the room is was in awful condition and we sent it back and as they did not have a better replacement we were forced to share our bed with our son for the week.. not ideal ... The restaurant was clean, there was a fair variety of food on offer and opened on time but you really have to get down to eat when the food was first presented as it got cold really quickly.. a couple of evenings we did not get to the restaurant until quite late and the food was really cold.. The bathrooms were nicely fitted but the drains also needed a bit of a refurb as they were noisey and quite smelly which wasn't helped by the fact that the rooms were only freshened every two days, which again with a small child was not ideal.. No air con in the mornings till 12.00 which seems a bit of a penny pinching policy.. Overall OLA Tomir scores an average for me at the minute, but we are told that the restaurant, pool and bar area are being refurbished this winter which may improve the poor food situation.. I would suggest they review their policies as well regarding charging for cot beds, 24 hr air conditioning and cleaning the rooms every day and then this hotel would score far higher in mine and probably most visitors expectations
For the moment me and the Choir I'm in is staying at this Hotel. The staff in the lobby is really nice. But the waiters and the really really uppnoches head mistress is a Pain in the AS. I nerver meet such a unpleasent staff as these People. And thats too bad. Because the hotelrooms are Nice. Will i recomend this Hotel? Well I recommend the rooms the pool. Vit för godsake dont eat here!!!
Just got back today from this lovely hotel we were on first floor Are room was fab and had a massive balcony with sun beds on we were self catering so could not comment on food got told it was nice but not hot and not much choice the staff are very welcoming the hotel is getting done out over the winter so I think it will be much better with the new pool etc but I loved the room deco very fresh looking we will be back only downfall there was no shows or entertainment but think it was the time of year so we always went to Palma nova
What can I say from checking in with the lovely lad on reception to checking out at 6am with a lovely girl with a smile on her face and so helpful in telling us about what the hotel is going though ie all rooms have been updated and next it’s the reception and pool area . The food was fine for me and plenty of it did get a bit busy but no problem for me as we always got a table and the waiting on staff worked nonstop and hard. My room had towels every day if we wanted and beds made up for us. Enough sun beds for everyone. We will be back as we both enjoyed our stay with OLA Tomir .
We have just stayed a great week at tomir portal's nous. It is the best 3 star I have ever seen, it is gorgeous and a credit to the Ola hotel network. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous! As is the surrounding area. Though slightly expensive you only get what you pay for, Victoria the entertainment reporter deserves a medal, thankyou for making us welcome.
Don’t stay here. It’s like staying in a Marriott. Air con doesn’t work between 3am and midday and you wake up roasting. Wi-fi doesn’t work. Room isn’t cleaned daily. Food is awful and service is poor.
Stayed for a week with my other half. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome from the receptionist and got a really nice room on the top floor. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Maria, Veronica and Juando from reception who made our stay even better when getting back to the hotel after a long day! Room was very clean although toiletries was not always replaced after cleaning. Cleaning and night reception staff were nice, too. Not a negative thing, rather a recommendation that if you like Spanish food, dont book the accomodation with breakfast as the majority of food they serve is english. All in all a very nice hotel and friendly staff, can only recommend!
We have just returned after a weeks holiday at this lovely hotel. We found it to be real value for money, we were in room 123 first floor, it was clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was lovely and so were the staff, there was food served to please everyone's taste, especially me, as I am quite fussy with my choices, so i didn't have any problems on any day we were there. We had a change of towels every other day, and bed made too. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and approachable. There were plenty of sun beds available. We went self catering but the food from the poolside bar was lovely. Somewhat pricey drinks but plenty of choice. Having two children with us, it would be better had the rooms been cleaned more regularly but reception were more than happy to provide clean sheets when requested. It would be a good idea to provide the rooms with a sweeping brush so we could have a little sweep around ourselves. The evening entertainment wasn't much to shout home about but given the end of season, it was satisfactory. The only issues we had were the bathroom doors. Swinging doors which do not lock. As two friends with a child each, there wasn't much privacy come shower time. The lock on our room door unlocked automatically when the handle was pulled down, even when locked. Having a one year old escapist proved stressful at times and felt a little unsafe. The kids had a lot of enjoyment in the resort park and kids club. Hats off to the hotel rep who worked from morning to evening, 6 nights a week! And still had a smile on her face. Overall a lovely hotel, with lots of things to do nearby. Would recommend
Just back from a 2 week family holiday at this hotel. It was clean, modern, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. No rushing out first light to put towels on beds! Plenty to go around. Food is good and never runs out. Beer isn't cheap like most hotels but the wine is just 10€ a bottle or 3€ a glass. Quite upmarket resort. Just 10mins bus ride on 104 to Palma Nova or 20mins on the same bus the other way to Palma comes every 10mins. The old town is worth a visit only 15 min walk up the hill. Great hotel for families and couples alike.
