Visited here with our son last year, reception welcome is lovely and the room and all the facilities were fab...truly lovely little gem of a hotel. Breakfast was nice and we had a few lunches that again were very delicious.

Beautiful hotel and very luxurious. Perfect location in Cala Dor and staff were very polite and upon arrival they upgraded us to one of their most beautiful rooms. Felt very lucky. Breakfast was superb and not rushed. Everything was great. Cala Dor is amazing!!

Stayed here with my wife and 2 kids (7 & 3 years old). The hotel grounds are nice and well kept, our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and lots of nice features. Balcony faces the pool and was very big and spacious. We didn't have dinner or lunch here but breakfast everyday. The breakfast is ok, but considering the hotels rating, maybe I was expecting a bit more to choose from. No complaints just a bit uninspired. Now to the pickle, the pool is Square with two more shallow circular pools at each end, doesn't look much fun for the kids to start with, but it's a very fun and good pool that sort of makes you play with each other more than in the big crazy adventure pools. So we really enjoyed it, however, there's never any available sun beds or even space to put your belongings. The hotel say that you're not allowed to reserve the chairs, but people do early before breakfast anyways. Not the hotels fault BUT the hotel should enforce their rules. There's a lot of plastic millionaires staying here, and when you obey the rules and remove the flip flop they put down as a reservation expect childish tantrums :) The beach is only a five minute walk away so it doesn't matter that much. I'd probably return as the rooms are great, location and staff to.

We stayed at this hotel for a short break. It was nicely different from the normal in decor lay out with some unique features. the staff were professional and attentive. We can recommend any one to stay.

Made last minute booking, hotel was excellent, lovely hotel, nice friendly staff, everything was provided for the pool, and all toiletries were provided in the bathroom, if you had a problem it was sorted immediately in a efficient friendly manner, would definitely return!

Immaculate, with truly great staff who can't do enough for you, they seem to be genuinely proud of their hotel which shows in their attitude to all guests. Lovely breakfast (thank you Isabella for the extra large teapot) good selection of cooked and continental favourites, even cava with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs if you so wish. Beautiful pool area and mature gardens, indoor pool with a separate jaccuzi, gym with all modern equipment, good public areas, Will return.

Melia is a lovely, quiet hotel, fairly small and very comfortable. Premium rooms are worth the extra cost, the breakfast is varied and generous and the staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi's good, but English TV is restricted to two ITV channels, not even BBC news, and trying to get hold of an English newspaper in the lounge is impossible so buy your own locally! The pretty marina is a 15 minute walk with nice restaurants, there are nearby coves with small sandy beaches, and there are lots of little supermarkets close to the hotel to buy water and whatever. Definitely hope to stay again, we loved our holiday at the Melia!

Had a very short notice week here two weeks ago.Very nice small hotel. Peaceful (out of school holidays!) with a good pool and grounds. Good breakfast, very good if pricey dinner. Some excellent, very engaged, staff. We had a junior suite which was very comfortable. Nice bar/lounge. Convenient for walking to the centre of town for the host of restaurants and shops there.

Staff very welcoming and hotel was spotless. The indoor and outdoor pool were very clean and warm. The room service was A1. The beds were made twice a day and attention to detail was first class. I would certainly return.

Everything you need and more. Lovely pools, close to the beach. Train service to the pier where you can get beautiful dinners. Rooms spacious suites even more so. Went with a family of 8 with two little ones and it was fantastic for us all. Will certainly return
