Stayed here for a company conference. Hotel is set in lovely grounds and despite it's size and proximity to a town, golf course and highway, the noise levels in and around the hotel are very low. Excellent choice of foods for breakfast including a very nice homemade Bircher, and good selection of gluten free food. Lunches and dinners are all well prepared and very tasty. Hotel clearly caters for the German market as the menu is Spanish with a "germanic" flavour - so if your looking for authentic Spanish food - you will need to go outside the hotel. Hotel is colonial in style however the rooms - at least in the block I was staying - were African themed. Leopard print cushions, and sofa etc. Room was a good size and bathroom with lovely with separate areas for bath, shower room and toilet. Although a mini bar and water were provided no tea or coffee making facilities in the room meant that I had to venture to the bar / restaurant or bring a cup back to the room with me. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Helped me print and scan a document for me (for free). Gym in the basement was small but had most of the machines and equipment you would need, although there was a queue for the running machines some mornings (2 treadmills). Overall a nice hotel if your looking for somewhere away from the main sights and sounds of Palma but with a friendly comfortable family orientation.
Fantastic hotel great break,We had fabulous stay at this hotel the staff could not have been more helpful. From the ladies who cleaned the rooms, the reception staff who greeted us on arrival, making us feel very welcome ,to catering staff and the bar staff all were friendly and helpful. The hotel suite we stayed it was lovely and comfy with some really nice little touches. Breakfast was top-notch with plenty of choice and the convenience of being able to eat a little bit later. Clubhouse where we had lunch was great good service and really good food. As you can tell from my comments we really enjoyed our break at the Lindner Hotel. The spa look good but we never had time to use it as we were out and about. We will certainly be returning for another break many thanks to all for making our stay so enjoyable and I would highly recommend. .
For several years, my mother aged 92 has purchased gift vouchers for Bahari for my Xmas present. However, I'm fully aware that when I call or email them in order to book a treatment they are always fully booked on the days I want (really), when I visit in person their computer is down (really), I need to visit front desk for an appointment and could not possibly be given me a refund. Yet, the Linder is perfectly capable of taking my mother's money when purchasing the gift. It is quite obvious that this "wellness resort" has no interest in your well-being only in their finances. Shame on you, Lindner.
This is our 5th visit to the Lindner Hotel which never seems to suprise me each time we go ; so much so , we reserved a considerable number of rooms for our daughters recent wedding . The staff were simply the best ! Despite the wedding being held locally at a local Castle, the majority of our guests stayed here at the Lindner on our recommendation AND boy they were not disappointed at the level of attention they received from the staff. The front of house staff were faultless , the rooms were spotless and the service exemplary ! … The celebrations and parties that ensued were all catered for by the very receptive staff where nothing was a bother whatsoever ! I must mention one chap at reception , Raoul who was given a challenge of printing off a document whilst we were there ; sadly is was corrupted but nevertheless , he contacted others and with his perseverance HE found a solution and ever so pleased he could help ! Will I/we be going back ?……. without a shadow of a doubt - really rate this place and if they do read this please give yourself a pat on the back as you guys truly deserve it . This was our second stay. Fantastic hotel with great service from all the staff throughout. We ate breakfast there evety morning which was lovely and we ate tea there one night. The food was amazing. The only thing we noticed which would have been nice were tea and coffee services in the rooms.
If you don't wish to read all of the blurb I've written....this hotel is awesome. 100% recommend for all. In short I will return next year. This is the second time my partner and I have stayed here (in two years). This time we have opted for half board and it's the finest decision we've ever made. The food at the Lindner restaurant is quite possibly the finest in the area, the half board menu only covers two possible meal choices for each of the three courses but it won't disappoint, there's something good each night. Very happy with the food! We've stayed in the area for a few years and tried many of the restaurants and few of them even come close to what this hotel offers. The service is still the highest quality you can expect. The hotel staff are wonderful, smiling, kind and very helpful. I get the feeling they really want things to be right. Their language skills leave me in awe every time and it's embarrassing for me that I know so little of their native language and yet they can make me feel so well at ease in mine. Last year my only negative was the tiredness of the room (not the grounds or main block restaurant, poolside ect). I felt it was the only negative I could offer, just a bit in need of tlc, dints on the furniture and paintwork. Small things but it all makes a difference to how you feel about your money spent. This year all vanished, they have put some renovation work in place I'd say and the place looks amazing. We are staying in the same style of room (comfort class) and it's huge and extremely pleasant. Air conditioning is rapid, beds comfortable, clean and extremely lovely view over the poolside. I'd recommend it to anyone. The breakfasts are brilliant, the poolside bar incredible and the restaurant at night is divine. It's expensive if you aren't staying half board so beware as a walk in customer it can add up quickly but I shan't try to tell you it isn't worth the money. It's great value. There's a really good feel to the hotel. They strongly support children, it's safe and there is plenty to entertain them. My partner and I are childless at the moment and I thought in the past it would bother me to be at a hotel where they are welcome and yet it really doesn't feel like they are there. I'm pretty intolerant when it comes to shouting and screaming kids! I think it's the space and the grounds and area around the pool. I spent a whole day beside the pool on the sun loungers in the garden and I didn't feel irritated at any point and yet children were present all the time and we're back and forth between the children's area and their parents and rooms. It feels quite tranquil and yet busy too, there's plenty of people watching to do but we aren't all on top of one another. Location wise this hotel is brilliant, hence why we are staying here again. Local beaches are all within 20 minutes strong walking distance, hilly, but taxis are readily available. From the airport and Palma central about 20 minutes by car, easily found. The marina of Portals Nous is 5 minutes by road and is a great experience. Busses run regularly in all directions and are cheap and reliable. I apologise for the lengthy review. I hope I have covered most of what people would wish to know. It's hard to guess what others want to see in a review. You won't go wrong in this hotel whatever your requirements for a good hotel I'd say they have it covered.
Very nice hotel very friendly people clean rooms. Typical German, everyone go with there towels at 8 am to reserve the sun beds and finely showing up at 11.30 "no go" !!!!! Negative you just have 3 times at the day to change your towels that's really annoying!!!! But all together we have a fantastic stay
Great value Sunday lunch, €35 per person, includes unlimited cava, sparkling water, coffees etc, 3 or 4 courses, depending on how hungry you are! We all had something different and we were stuffed full. We were there in June and it was served until 3pm, we made the mistake of booking our table at 2.30pm and by the time one of our table was ready for pudding (two small children were needing her attention) the pudding had all been cleared away, this is something for us to note for next time, arrive a bit earlier. I had contacted the hotel to reserve a table and once we arrived in to the restaurant we were shown to a lovely table outside on the terrace. The staff were lovely, attentive but not over crowding, very pleasant, smiling, polite. Food was delicious. Definitely something for everyone. The fish stew left my husband delighted, the roast beef was served pink and tender, I had the ribs - all great. The profiteroles for pudding were a favourite for me, thick and soft chocolate sauce - very easy to make a complete piglet of yourself. The singers were excellent. Will be back for sure.
Stayed at the hotel for four nights in May. Upon arrival we learned that the outside pool would be closed during our entire visit as would the pool restaurant due to renovation work. While this can of course be necessary on short notice, we would have appreciated more upfront information as we had booked the hotel especially due to its children's pool and family friendly profile. Also due to the renovation of the pool restaurant, it at times became very noisy when spending time at the outside areas. Moreover, staff in the open restaurants were very slow and unwelcoming - one evening we waited more than 25 minutes on just getting the menus (which is not a pleasure with small children) and an hour before receiving the food :-( Upon returning home, I wrote the hotel management to complain about the lack of information and slow service, but I have not heard anything back. So while it's a nice hotel you may want to call ahead to check if maintenance work is going on and prepare yourself for slow service!
All perfectly nice. Pool not working, which was a shame as the beach was to far for me to take my baby to in the carrier. Wonderful staff. Disconcerting figure in the bathroom. Africa theme - ok... but having a coloured figure with a tray with business cards....hm....
