This is a perfect hotel at the epicentre of the Spring cycling/ running/ swimming community. Bike hire and storage could not be easier and the quality of bikes is high (I had a Felt AR5). There is a lane swimming 25 meter pool, a spa which is particularly useful for end of day massages, and quality food which at this time of year is very much geared towards endurance athletes. Staff are welcoming and really helpful and a particular mention of the manager, John, who is a great guy and rides road and mountain bikes, so inherently understand the needs and requirements of cyclists.
Went for a cycling weekend with 8 friends. This hotel way exceeded our expectations specially for the rate we got. The hotel has everything you need for this market , 2 pools and a spa with a pool and massage jets. The hire of great quality bikes was really easy they arrived at our hotel , we stored them in a secure unit next door. We only ate breakfast but it was an expansive buffet . Staff super friendly . all in all 10/10.
Just back for two days at Las Gaviotas - just as lovely as ever. Warmly welcomed by Elena and Sebastian and upgraded to a lovely suite. Everything is just perfect for relaxation at Las Gaviotas. Before I left, I made sure I booked for my next trip in the Summer. Looking forward to returning. Thanks to all the staff for a great visit. Always a pleasure to be at Las Gaviotas.
My friend and I enjoyed 4 nights at this hotel and we enjoyed every minute. From arriving, when the staff could not have been more helpful, to opening the hotel room and finding it so beautifully presented. The hotel and rooms are spotless and there is a choice of 3 outdoor pools as well as an indoor pool and spa. We were there on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. The hotel is superb and we would recommend it without hesitation. Can't wait for our next visit!
This hotel was a great find. The staff were helpful right from making the initial booking, answering any queries our group had. The rooms and the grounds were clean and well put together with a choice of outdoor pools and a lovely indoor pool and spa, with sauna and steam room. The bedrooms were comfortable with a large shower in the bathroom. The downside to the rooms is that the walls are thin, so you can here your neighbours' music and TV. Also the doors slam shut so can be very disrupting. Dinner wasn't that impressive, but breakfast was good and included in the stay. The treatments in the spa were excellent. We visited before season started so it was very quite and the local restaurants and some shops were not open for business. We were able to get some things we needed from the corner stores and the beach is a 5 minute walk away. The Marina is about a 10 minute drive away which you can take a cab for about 10 Euros. There are lots of restaurants and bars to choose from for a good night out.
This is the second year in a row that I've stayed here and each time it's been superb. A great hotel to stay for pre season training whether it be for triathlon or just cycling. The staff make it and are very friendly and helpful, the amenities for your post exercise warmdown are good, with two swimming pools, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. On top of that the quality and variety of food for both breakfast and evening meal is top notch. A perfect tonic for those winter blues.
This hotel was booked for me for a business trip. The location is good, about 100metres from the beach & 20 minutes fro the mountains. Perfectly located for a lazy few days on the beach or a cycling holiday. The hotel it's self was spotlessly clean and the staff who all spoke excellent English were extremely friendly & helpful. There are 2 nice swimming pools, 1 with a pool bar which also served very good food. The restaurant which was a buffet was second to none, offering a vast selection of well prepared and presented food to satisfy all tastes & needs. The food was so good that a number of our party who were accommodated in a different hotel came to our hotel to eat. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Good: Breakfast (varied assortment that changed every day, loved the breaky!) Free parking Comfy robes Quiet area Service Close to beach Bad: From pictures we were expecting more Lack of toiletries (only shower gel, lacked cotton sticks, conditioner etc.) Humidity in room, smell of mold Small rooms (standard double, no space for luggage!) Pool ice cold Bad coffe in the pool bar Would we stay again? Probably not, we would test another town just for the variety.
Las Gaviotas Suites Hotel is modern and well kept hotel. Location is peaceful and very accessible by own car as well as by public transportation. Family room was big enough for four persons and the pool area was really good with kids offering different pools around. Breakfast was also very good and there were lot of varieties. The gym was out of order - so that was probably only minus for that hotel. The beach is also near and some beach restaurants. If you are looking for nicer restaurants, you need to go Alcudia or to marina area. We could recommend this hotel.
This hotel is one of the nicest and cleanest hotels I've been to. I had contacted the hotel prior to arriving to request a pool view room which I got. The rooms are minimalistic which I like, it's not cluttered with stuff you don't need. It would have been helpful to have another mirror as the only one was in the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely each day, the omelettes are really nice and they will make them to order if requested. Queuing for the coffee was frustrating so sometimes I stuck to instant. The spa was amazing, I had a 30 minute massage and fell asleep about 5 minutes in as the woman was brilliant. The steam room, sauna and spa pool were all really nice and made a great place to relax prior to going back to my room. It was always very empty which was nice as it was very quiet. The gym was very basic and could do with being updated with some new gym equipment. The beds were super comfy and the air con in the rooms were great. All in all I could not fault this hotel and would definitely return. Recommended it to a colleague who has booked to go in May.
