We had an amazing few days at the Senses Palmanova Hotel. Arrived to glasses of champagne and had a gentlemen take are luggage up to our rooms and gave us all the information we needed to know. We stayed all inclusive and the food was very good! The best I have had on an all inclusive bases. Meat was freshly cooked for you and there was lots of variety to suit all. Drink options were very good and the wine was great. The only slight disappointment was when we missed the lunch time slot one day and went to eat at the snack bar and it wasn't included on the all inclusive. There were a few sandwiches that were and the drinks were but we ended up paying for our lunch as we weren't very impressed by the selection. However, it was very reasonably priced and was very good. The hotel is located in a fantastic area with the beach just out the front of the hotel. The area was very safe and relaxing where there was no hassle from any shop owners or street sellers. I was a bit concerned with it being so close to Maggaluf but you honestly wouldn't know it was there. Although we did go out for a night out in Maggaluf and it was a great night out. It felt safe and there wasn't fights or people throwing up everywhere and we walked back to our hotel at 4am with no problems. We went for the privilege rooms and it was completely worth it! Rooms were fantastic and we loved the sky bar, it was so peaceful with a fantastic view, definitely worth paying that bit extra for.

This was sold to us via Travelzoo as a 'luxury' hotel. Don't get me wrong, it was ok but not luxury. Can't argue with the room (we were in the Annexe) nothing special but quite functional although not much room for clothing. Main pool area got quite crowded when we were here so was hard to find Sunbeds although the Annexe pool was always quiet. We only ate breakfast in the hotel which was ok. Staff very friendly and attentive.

We spent an unforgettable week in "Senses Hotel". On arrival we were welcolmed by the staff at reception. They gave us full information about the hotel and a glass of champagne. Not only does the hotel have fantastic swimming pools but also the restaurants serve a variety of food to please all tastes. It could improve on trying to keep the hot food at a good temperature. The restaurant staff and Ms Encarna , always with a smile, did their best to make us feel comfortable and welcome. A definite must!

We stayed at Hotel Senses for 6 nights and overall had a really great stay! We were in the annexe across the road on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the sea. I can see why some people wouldn't want to be in the annexe, but we didn't have a problem with it. It's easily accessible and it was lovely and quiet! Never had a problem with noise. The main pool is good but gets very busy and if you're not there by 10.30am then you'll struggle to get a good lounger. We tended to go to the main pool in the morning, go out for lunch and then spend the afternoon at the smaller annexe pool. This suited us fine! We were half board and found the food to be not bad! Breakfast is great - good selection and dinner is good too. Typical buffet really. Nothing special but a good selection and dessert was tasty. The staff were nice enough - a couple of the girls on reception are really lovely and the cleaners were really smiley and kind. The evening entertainment is definitely aimed at an "older" audience and for us being a couple in our mid-20s, we didn't really enjoy it. Having said that, the rooftop bar has a really cool vibe even though it's pretty quiet! We didn't really want a party holiday so it was fine for us but I can imagine if you wanted something a bit livelier you'd be pretty disappointed. If I was in Palmanova again I'd definitely be happy to stay at Senses, and I think with time the hotel will improve even more.

Just returned from a week here in a sea view room which we paid a bit extra for but it was worth it. The hotel is really clean - the room was really well cleaned each day and all the public areas are kept clean ( I was even up early one morning to see a team scrubbing every inch of the sunbathing terraces). The bed was huge and really comfy, and the air con was very welcome given the heat outside. Loved that there was fridge in the room to keep some water and cool drinks in. There is plenty of food to choose from in the buffet restaurant and it is kept topped up - always seemed to be plenty of staff around. All the staff are friendly and attentive without exception. The swimming pools are gorgeous - very clean like the rest of the hotel and the sun loungers in the pools are wonderful. You can always seem to get sun loungers no matter what time of day you go down to the pools (and the hotel was full) and it never feels crowded either. The only negative about the terraces are the plastic parasols which are really hard to open/close and move, however if you go down the bottom of the terrace there are lovely big fabric brolleys - it's a shame these aren't everywhere. The hotel is in a great location right opposite the beach - which is one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to with clear, shallow, warm sea and soft sand. There are shops, bars and restaurants all around the hotel and there is a taxi rank and bus stop right outside. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Palma Nova.

Staff will do their utmost to make you happy if they have got it wrong. The hotel has just reopened after refurbishment so everything was relatively new when we arrived. There is only one main people for the masses and an underused pool for 4 suites it should be opened up for others use. Food was of very good quality and varied. The chefs are keen to please and can sometimes be slow to serve due to requests which cause queues. Close proximity to other restaurants and shops.

The short version - lovely hotel (if you get the right room), lovely food, lovely staff, great location. Not quite all inclusive. Not much information. Reception/check in/first impressions - Initial impressions were great, we were met off the coach by Erik, who carried our luggage to reception. We arrived around 12:00, so our room wasn't ready yet. That wasn't an issue, we decided to sit out by the pool until our room was ready. This is when our impressions went from great to bad. We were back at reception as our room was now available for check in. They gave us the key and advised us that our room was over in the annex. We had paid extra for all inclusive and a swim up room, so was expecting it to look like how it did in the pictures and also be part of the actual hotel, not over the road in an annex. We decided to go an give it a try anyway, but our opinions didn't change. When paying extra for upgraded rooms, you don't expect to be put out of the way where there is no bar, no restaurant and no atmosphere. (Please note, you can still use the hotel bar, but you need to either walk across the road, through the hotel, out past the pool and down to the pool bar, or use the underground passage way which cuts out the crossing the road part of that. I can guarantee I wouldn't have used the bar in that case. No good when your All inclusive). These rooms should be advertised as being in the annex when you initially book and pay. So... I headed back to reception and asked if we could have a different room, I was initially advised that there were no other swim up rooms available. After a bit of a discussion (albeit a bit rude on my part, for which I felt terrible. She was a genuinely nice lady), we were shown to another room. Our impressions then changed completely again, We loved the room. It was part of the main hotel, the sun was beaming down on it, there were other people nearby, the bar and restaurants and Main Street/shops/bars were only a bimble away. I thanked the reception lady for changing our rooms, and proceeded to relax. Oh... an Erik the wonder guy brought our bags again and also explained the Do not disturb button, the cleaning in progress button and the AC (the AC worked fab for our stay). He's a nice chap. Food - I'm not fussy when it comes to food, so I really enjoyed the food selection. I found there to be quite a good variety. There's a cooking station where you can choose your preferred meat and they'll cook it fresh (lovely). Room - the swim up room we changed to was fantastic. Still didn't look like it does in the pictures (please note, there's only about 5 rooms that are like the ones in the picture). Not an issue though as it was still a swim up room, it just wasn't near the main pools. It kind of had its own section, I guess similar to the annex, except this was part of the main complex and only a short walk to the pool bars and restaurants. The bed was huge and really comfy. The toilet and shower setup is a little strange, they share the same door. That's ok though, just send your partner to sit on the balcony when doing your business. It's really not an issue. The shower was nice and hot though. Bars - the bar staff (and all staff for that matter) were lovely. If I was to be highly critical, I would say maybe they could be a little quicker. But honestly, they were great. They serve cocktails (and other alcoholic beverages), there's ice cream (only some free on AI) and a selection of cold snacks (sandwiches, apple pie). All inclusive - let's put it this way... it's not all inclusive. When paying extra for all inclusive, I expect for it to be all inclusive, not "some inclusive". There were 3 cocktails available on the AI, pina colada, San Francisco and tequila sunrise (my girlfriend really likes strawberry daiquiri, but unfortunately that wasn't included), Bar snacks such as Pre made refrigerated sandwiches and some puddings are available, but if you want anything like burgers or fries, you will need to pay. Also, the mini bar in the room is chargeable (even water), not sure why though when you can get water for free from the bar. Other bits I haven't covered so far - there's a lack of information given. You are provided with a leaflet that has the bar/restaurant times, but that's about it. Maybe they could advise where the gourmet restaurant is and also have a drinks/food/ice cream list of what is included in AI. There is no poolside service (not a negative, just for information for those that are used to it). Fire Alarm went off a few times. Just gave it a good ignoring, not to worry though, I had a pool next to me to jump into :) The hotel policy says that trousers should be worn by the men for the evening meal, but this wasn't enforced. I'd rather they just say that you can wear what you like, or actually enforce what they say. I took trousers specifically for this, but then saw that over half the men in there were wearing shorts. We had free use of the electronic safe, that was a nice touch. Evening entertainment was pretty good, Probably one of the better hotels I've stayed at. Housekeeping come every day and you can have fresh towels every day, should you so wish. (Pool towels are got from reception. €10 refundable deposit per towel). That was my personal in depth review. Please don't let any negatives put you off coming here. In general The hotel, staff and food are all pretty great. Personally, the annex just wasn't for me, but others may find it great, it's just down to individual preference.

beautiful hotel food and location, staff was excellent pools were amazing.Easy access to all areas beautiful walks along white beaches.Easy access to magaluf and a great sightseeing place.Plenty of bars and restaurants.

Currently staying in Senses hotel room 416 and blown away by the standard of just everything.. hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean ...the pools are fabulous beds in the water are so chilling ..the food is fantastic so much to choose from the restaurant is gorgeous so spacious and 5 star service everyone so helpful and friendly can't fault the hotel in any way ..Javier on reception is lovely and so helpful so dont listen to any negative reviews Senses is fantastic Karen and Brian

Ok where to start , we stayed here in Aug 17 , a standard king room 429 which over looked the street, which didn't bother us as we were mostly out the room any way . The room is modern has a fridge and a great shower plus the bed is bigger than an ordinary king . The rooms get cleaned daily and towels changed . The A/C is ok on a nightline but a bit sluggish if your wanting a blast ! The food on half board was lovely great choice most nights and a chef will even cook a choice of meats in front of you mmm. The brochure says there's 6 pools , technically there is ,but there are very small and you can't swim in 2 of them as they have sun beds in them, which is nice to dangle in off the bed The pool area is a bit quiet , relaxing I would say , and probably suits the older clientele The hotel is just across the road from the gorgeous beach , and has all the beach amenities. There's also the convenience of a spar shop which sells English papers which are in early. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and only want to be of help if they can . All in all a lovely 4 star hotel which I would recommend.
