We've been in this hotel for three times and planning to go there again. The location of the hotel is very good. Close to it are restaurants and bars and public beaches (about 400 m away - it's a beautiful walk). Hotel rooms are completely renovated and beautiful (a bit small for 3 roomates, but it's not a problem). The staff is really nice and willing (probably a spanish nature :-)). The cuisine is awesome, espcially the dinners - the best starters I've ever had!!! (I believe that the 'breakfast style' is the same all over the world - sausages, bacon, ham, vegetable, fruit etc.)! I can really recommend it to you (The best drik you can have is Tom Collins :-)).

Stayed for 4 days .Hotel lovely and clean , rooms are spacious and immaculate . We had a sea view room and loved waking up to the sun in the morning .We stayed HB and we always found something to eat and there was plenty to choose from .Right in middle of resort .All the staff were polite smiley and helpful especially Felipe on reception .Would love to go back and stay here again .Well Done Sabina Playa !

fabulous stay at this hotel, room was good size, spotless, had a seaview and maid service was excellent. i was bed and breakfast and the fruit alone at the buffet was exquisite there was a wide selection of foods available and staff were efficient and pleasant

The hotel rooms are very clean, the hotel personel is friendly and the breakfast buffet is tasteful. You are at the middle of two beaches: Cala Millor and Cala Bona (10 and 5 minutes walking away from the hotel). Cala Millor is a very crowded beach, I would recommend to hire a bike or a car to discover the less touristic beaches. I rented a good and cheap car by a company called 'Driver' and I rented a terrible bike (got two flat tires at one day) by a company called 'Ciclos Bon Temps (Rent a bike)'

We have booked two rooms beside each other. This was also written in the order confirmation, but we got only rooms at the same floor. The rooms are cleaned on daily basis and in general fine. The swinning pool area is fine, but you have to be up early since people (germans)are placing their towels on the sunbed. The entertainment is very bad and too much focused on germans. The are playing german songs .... They loudness of the music was extremely high in the evening eventhough there was max 10 people and it stopped first at 23.45. The breakfirst is fine, but the dinner in the evening was to much the same and average quality so we went outside on restaurants instead. The stay has been ok, but should we come to CalaMillor another time would we choose another hotel ....

Booked through on the beach.com, this was booked for a long weekend with no children. Recommend for a more grown up break. No kids clubs, no play area and fairly small pool. Very clean and efficient. Architecturally fairly brutal late 70/ early 80,s looking. Probably about half the rooms have a sea view (I'm guessing) about 5 min walk to the actual beach but water front cafes etc 1 minutes walk. Most staff friendly and helpful. Food of reasonable standard for 3 star, and dining area very clean. You can eat outside or in. Good access to main resort about 5 mins to the edge. A pleasant if busy walk to Cala bona in about ten minutes. This is at the northern end of Cala millor. About an hour from Palma airport if coming direct. 3 hours for us on bus which seemed to stop every where. Recommend arranging personal transportation if possible!!! That was not hotels fault. If you don't like Germans this may not be the place for you. Baring in mind high expectations by Germans you will get an understanding of the quality feel of the hotel. Given 5 stars by me as expectations have been exceeded. Nice outside bar across the road called Yates, on waterfront. Friendly if you want reasonable spot of lunch .

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week on a half board basis. We were looking for a reasonably cheap break and booked online, we'd normally book 4 star + but the reviews looked OK and the location by the beach. On arrival we were greeted warmly and shown quickly to the dining room so we'd didn't miss dinner, delaying checking in was much appreciated! The room was basic but clean and with a nice sea view. The bathroom was good, a fairly large walk in shower and looked quite new. My parents stayed in the room next door though and had a bath with shower over it so make a request if you have a preference. I think some rooms have also been renovated, not sure which ones, they look much more modern from photos. Note, the beds were quite hard. You can rent a room safe for around €15 plus deposit. Food was good all week (half board), we ate out twice but just so we could enjoy the sea views and weather really. Variety was less than some of the larger hotels but always something good, we didn't tried anything that wasn't nice. Chocolate fountain on the first evening too. Never a problem getting a table and service for drinks was fast. Mostly catered to German tastes but that was fine for us. Evening entertainment was limited at best but it was fairly early in the season. Some nights nothing, we saw a little of a flamenco show, there was a bar raffle and DJ one evening and we stayed in for bingo but it just never happened! No idea why, probably because most of the time the bar was super quiet! We couldn't work out where everyone went!! Pool is fairly small but clean and good enough. There is also an indoor pool and sauna but we didn't use those. On first look there don't appear to be that many sun beds but on every day we stayed by the pool we had our pick!! And they were never reserved with towels unlike in most hotels!! Bar staff were great, funny and welcoming. Some staff had limited English but we always managed to communicate ok. Information is predominantly in German but didn't cause any issues at all. As mentioned in other reviews the hotel is mostly occupied by German guests but this doesn't matter at all to us. Location is about 5/10 mins to the beaches... You can walk to Cala Millor or Cala Bona. Cala Millor is the biggest beach and the busiest area, we actually prefer Cala Bona (nice little beach which has had recent maintenance, pretty harbour and lovely restaurants). Overall a nice break!

would have given it a 5/5,but for the fact the size of pool was not big enough for the number of guests there, the majority of the guests were German and all the entertainment was geared to their needs. food could not be faulted, rooms were clean, tidy and quite modern. there were children there, but were never rowdy, and mostly well behaved.British tourists could learn a lesson from them. the resort prices were competitive, so never felt overcharged.all the staff were polite and helpful, and unlike some hotels we have stayed in,happy and smiling, which made you feel relaxed.so a big thank you to all the staff.a must see attraction for families is in Cala Bona next to Cala Millor. every evening, in a square by the harbour, a circus type busker entertains, it was a joy to listen to the children ,and adults laughing. i`m nearly 70 and he made me laugh.

just returned from the Sabina player with my wife brother and his wife.i am 73 so I do like a quiet nights sleep.i cannot find anything to complain about as the hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent.this hotel is mainly german but don't let this put you off. there was an excellent choice of food and you can sit outside to eat if you wish.i enjoy hot rice pudding but sadly no microwave.but as I said a great choice of food.we will definitely return

We and my girlfriend visited in August. First thing I must say is it is filled with 90% German's and even the staff speak German but very little English, getting a drink from the bar was sometimes a struggle. The views if you are facing the sea are tremendous, higher the floor the better the view. We requested a sea view which we duly got. We only had breakfast so can't comment on dinner but the breakfast was good with lots of veriety. You can add dinner for €9. The wifi is €3 a day or €7 for the week but hardly works. The cleaners were amazing, every day we had our room cleaned at 10 o'clock and it was spotless, we did make some amount of mess aswell I must say! The pool is a decent size, getting a sunbed is a bit of a struggle but if you're up around 9 o'clock you'll have you're pick of them. The hotel is around 200m from the beach and just round the corner from all the restaurants and bars along the seafront so good location. As I said if you don't mind the German's and not speaking to any British people then it's a fantastic hotel, I could hardly fault it. If given the choice I would return. Rooms are spacious and the balconys are a lot better than many of the surrounding hotels.
