I have heard this hotel is closing soon. We had good views from our bedroom towards Palma harbour, you could just make out cruise ships coming in. Room was clean and comfy. No hairdriers available or pool towels and don t forget to bring your own toiletries!Food was okay , always a good choice. No entertainment as such. The hotel and area was full of germans , only spoke to 4 other english in the hotel.

Just spent a week at this hotel and had a lovely time. OK the hotel is not a modern building but it was exceptionally clean, the food was excellent, plenty of variety and very well cooked and presented. Every member of the staff was helpful and polite, especially Roberto. Although there were only a handful of British people there we did not feel we were not catered for. I see from other reviews that there were groups of youngsters at the hotel, we did not see this. Everyone was very well behaved and friendly. I would go back there without hesitation. We were a group of three senior citizens.

Just returned from this hotel very much catering for Germans (no bacon in site) the hotel is a few minutes from very popular street of bars and clubs if you don't like crowds not for you take everything you need as nothing provided hairdryer pool towels kettles no fridge or air conditioning at the hotel Food basic not very hot but good selection

Arrived at hotel about 11:30am. Put our cases in storage room which later we found wasn't secure as any guest could get access which was not supervised. Sat around at hotel for 4hours before getting our room key after watching other guests checking in without any problems. The start of our holiday didn't match the relaxing expectations from the description. There were groups of young males who were very loud. Had to contact reception during the early hours on two occasions. Seeing young males dressed in mankinis or as inflatable penis' wasn't my kind of a relaxing family holiday either. The road down to the beach took us passed strip clubs & table dancers which didn't make us feel safe having my teenage daughter with us. Especially after she had already been confronted by young males at the hotel. At poolside & in external areas it was like walking through a cloud of cigarette smoke. At end of holiday, heard barman say that no smoking allowed at poolside - no signage so people ignored our obvious discomfort. Throughout our holiday, the hotel staff initially spoke to us in German before realising that we spoke English. At the end of our holiday the receptionist on at this time was fantastic. He arranged a taxi for us after our transport back to airport failed to arrive.

We arrived middle of the night and the very rude coach driver dropped us up the road telling us he couldn't get round to the actual hotel, pointing into the dark "...there's your hotel...". After we had dragged our cases and an 18 month old baby and found the hotel there was no bubbly as advertised, just to the news that THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING! It was a Spainish heatwave! 40 plus degrees! So angry! We had been promised A\C... myself with a heart condition and a baby, we NEVER go anywhere hot without it. The hotel itself was clean with friendly staff, and good food, but full of German kids drunk, singing and shouting ALL night, running up and down the corridors, being sick etc .This was a common complaint from most people . Outside the hotel were stripclubs, casinos and bars for the Germans as it was obviously catering for them. Do not go unless you are 18 -25 or enjoy that sort of thing!

On arrival the reception staff were friendly, we also received a glass of champagne. We were allocated our room, when venturing off to find the room it was clear to see that the hotel was a little dated and in need of a refurb. The room it's self was spacious however there was no air con and it looked a little tired, but it was comfortable. Overall the staff are friendly, the lifeguard could possibly use some more training on attention to lifeguarding the pool. It has been a good holiday but the advert of the holiday should state it caters for German guests otherwise we would have gone to Magaluf!!!

I am a 40+ single guy looking for a short break in the sun, and having been on numerous holidays, from 18-30 to holidays with the wife, I feel like I've seen and experience all ends of the hotels out there. I've stayed at the Riu Tequila in Mexico and was impressed with the chain..... until now. Where to start. Check in feels like a very long drawn out hectic experience from a very drained and forced smile from the lady in reception. Been single was unsure of what the room would be like, and was gutted to see a rock hard single bed, no balcony, no air con, and a tv from the 90s. I felt like I was in solitary confinement. The best was yet to come as I ventured to the pool area, and thought I had walked into a German 18-30 pool party. No relaxation at all. The meals were nice, and the staff very friendly. I've never ever thought of cutting short a holiday until now. Loud, brash behaviour all through the night from the German youths, shouting, chanting from 3am til 6am every night. This hotel is not advertised correctly, it's located next to row of German bars, Beer Koenig which is loaded all day and night. Looking at the older guests, only knows wha they must be thinking. Come on Riu sort the theme out for this hotel and stop duping customers into thinking this is part of your portfolio of quality hotels. If you want a nice peaceful break, do not stay here. To add insult the my stay, I was in the shower at 6pm and somebody came into my room. It was locked from the inside, so must have been staff. I called reception but no joy with explanation

I'm already on holiday in Mallorca in riu playa park Food is really tasty and staff very friendly especially barmans😊 The only horrible thing is lifeguard on the pool, he doesn't speak English, German only Spanish How he supposed rescue someone People playing in pool, ball hit my friend head and he didn't even react Please hire people who love theirs job... second thing is lack of air conditioning Unbelievable in Spain !!!!!

hotel was absolutely fine clean food good something for everyone staff helpful and kind but too many drunken german youths .pool area was not a place to feel comfortable on one occasion young man so drunk he vomited over sunbed and poolside.shouting and chanting .

If you are a young person looking for a full on party place this it!! If you want any peace and quiet, then stay away!! 15 minutes after arriving we were on the phone to our travel agent to get us out of there and thankfully she did.
