I think this place is amazing clean tidy Great food good bar size with outdoors seating. Westinghouse other is big clean and very relaxing. Room are spotless. Cleaned everyday. All staff are very helpful and polite. Bar entrainment every night. The whole hotel has a very relaxing feel. Beach is across the road. Shops bars restaurants all around. I will be coming again. For the money you pay worth every penny.

Have to start by saying I'm a bit miffed with the rating system in certain areas of Spain. The Arenas hotel is classed as a 4* I would disagree and say it's a reasonable 3*. The location of the hotel is ideal,a stone's throw across from the beach and close to many shops, restaurants and amenities. The staff are very accommodating and helpful and if you try to speak a bit of Spanish it seems to go down well. Animation team are very nice people,a special mention to Cheyanne and Elena. Food selection was good, something for everyone and fairly varied. The pool area is quite small but being so close to the beaches it wasn't a problem for us. This hotel is only 10 minutes or so by taxi from the airport and costs €15. Bus stops are close by for exploring and the land train takes you to Arenal(the German version of Magaluf going by what we saw). Can Pastilla is a nice location and we would go back again and wouldn't have a problem booking the Arenas again...A special mention to Jesus from the restaurant staff a true asset to the Hotel and wishing you a very happy forthcoming retirement...

We arrived on the 10th of June ( for 14 days)to be greeted by the most friendly reception ladies that I have ever had in 30 years of travel (Dana was one do not know the other sorry) but both were fantastic in getting us booked in as quickly as possible. We were given a choice of rooms and choose room 416 a bit high but the view is breath taking, after that here goes Restaurant : the food is great the staff there work so hard and alway have a really pleasant look about them and without doubt the very best I have ever come across Bars: always happy to serve you with a smile especially the man in the red top from Argentina Cleaning: again I can't fault it we have only been here 4 day and our room has been cleaned to a very good standard every day. The location is great it's right on the beach very clean. This is an honest review and I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will certainly be coming back next year Who ever is the manager of this hotel should be very proud of the staff I would be Many thanks room 416

Lovely hotel with friendly and efficient staff. We had a room on the front so excellent views. The food was good with plenty of variety. The only down side was the pool and sunbathing area, it is very small, but having said that you have a beautifull white sandy beach opposite the hotel. Would go again, but maybe not in very high season.

Fabulous 10 night stay from 6-16 May. We enjoyed the food, and the staff, particularly in the restaurant couldn't do enough for you. The food was good, in particular the fish dishes and squid paella. It was lovely to be able to sit out in front overlooking the beach and drink a glass of Sangria/Cava from a proper glass rather than a plastic cup as an all inclusive customer too. Fab location to people watch.

Building is pretty old, pool small, however everything is well maintained. Staff is experienced, rooms are clean, restaurant offers wide selection of meals. Location is great. It is very close to beach, bus station, restaurants, shops etc. Hotel is rather cheap. For this price Las Arenas is very good choice.

The hotel has an excellent location but the reception staff don;t have an excellent manner. Having read previous reviews prior to my trip I am somewhat disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm and helpfulness offered by the reception staff Most reception staff were either uninterested or ignorant in their approach. Raul, a gentleman who worked nights in reception, was always very pleasant and helpful - unfortunately the female reception staff require additional customer focus training. I am pleased to say that all other staff (i.e. cleaners, restaurant staff, bar staff and entertainers) were lovely, they always had a smile and couldn't do enough to help. The food offered was varied and trays were replenished frequently. I am sure most people will find something they will enjoy. As previously mentioned, the location is excellent if you like going to the beach. The beach, which is on the doorstep, is lovely and clean and is very safe for young children due to its shallow waters. The resort is excellent for young families and elderly. There are many different activities for young children and it is flat (which is great for the elderly and infirm). I would return to this resort and would probably return to this hotel due to it being reasonably priced and in a great location.

As this was our fourth stay at the hotel and we had always had a very good experience we expected the same this time but....having booked a room with a sea view and terrace/balcony we were very taken aback to get a sea view but NO balcony/terrace, somehow standing looking out of a window is not the same as sitting outside enjoying the view. I went straight down to reception and was told that as the hotel was full nothing could be done then (it was tea time), but to come back at breakfast time next day and perhaps something could be done, I said I would not be unpacking. At 7am next morning I was at reception and was told there was a room empty but it had to be cleaned, come back at 9.30am, this we did having cleared our room, had our luggage with us and were in the same clothes we had travelled in. It was nearly 10.30am before we got into our new room. It was a nice room with a terrace/balcony but was half way down the building was a SIDE sea view. As we were only there for a few days we made do. The staff were very helpful with this matter but I do feel I didn't really get what I booked and paid for. Added to this we found the food was not up to the standard we had been use to. In fact one morning the only eggs available were cold boiled ones (perhaps Chef Tony was off that day) and the hot vegetables were tepid. I must say that the evening entertainment was good, especially the Michael Jackson Tribute Group, very professional. We were disappointed that our stay was marred by these matters, we always look forward to staying at LA because we have always experienced a stress-free, relaxing break. Come on LA get your act back together, please. Incidentally the spa at Nautic is well worth a visit.

Stayed at Las Arenas for 7 nights, we were there from 7th April. It was our 4th time in a row at the Hotel, and we had a fabulous relaxing week. We had room 305, it was quite small for the two of us but we did have the afternoon sunshine which made up for that, the weather was fantastic, everyday sunshine, so the sunny balcony was very much appreciated. We just love the atmosphere at the Hotel, the staff are so inviting and made us feel so welcome yet again. The bar staff are all so efficient and once again our friend the smiling Alica was there to brighten up our day. The Restaurant never fails us, the food was as good as ever with even more choices this year, special mention for Israel the waiter, so efficient and welcoming, he really does work hard to make the place tick, thank you, to all the staff who made our holiday so relaxing and enjoyable. From checking in at the Reception desk we were treated so well, and any problems were solved very quickly by the staff on the desk. The room was always cleaned to a very high standard, thank you once again. Will see you next year Las Arenas, well done to everyone. Helen and John
