Modern hotel in a quiet location, within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars, the promenade and Palma centre. Average sized pools (2) with a handy pool side bar that sells good food and drinks at a reasonable price - see photos of pool menu. Sun loungers were all taken at the weekend, but during the week not a problem. Free onsite gym and bike hire (10 euro a day) and strong wifi (free) are all bonuses! Friendly and helpful staff on reception and at pool bar. Complimentary bottles of water in the mini-bar are a nice welcome. It would be nice to have a a kettle or Nespresso machine in the room.

Booked this for a short break which was then extended due to cancelled flight. The hotel reception were extremely helpful assisting us with changing flights and extending stay. Always pleasant and welcoming, nothing too much bother. Although we tried breakfast, felt it was a little hectic, then found a great place down the road two mins walk away on the next corner that did lovely breakfast and the guy very knowledgeable and you could even buy the red bus and boat tickets from him. We found the hotel very clean, well situated and all the facilities offered were excellent. Any negatives? Would have been good to have a kettle in room. Maybe that's an age thing!!! All in all a great hotel.

The hotel is smart and clean. The rooms are reasonably spacious and modern. The Pool is lovely but gets very busy with the usual ‘sun bed hogging’ going on. Couldn’t find anywhere to sit or lie yet many were ‘unmanned’. The restaurant offers good quality food. The main bonus of this hotel is it’s location as it’s just a short walk from Palma and the pretty marina.

I will start with the negatives, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which we were disappointed at as we like a drink first thing in the morning. The walk back at night from the nearby bars was a little dark around some of the quiet back streets. Everything else about the hotel we found excellent starting with the breakfast which had the largest choice I have seen in a hotel .All the staff we came into contact with were all very pleasant and helpful and the hotel was always quiet clean and tidy. For our trip the pool and terrace area always had sun loungers available and it lived up to it's name as the Urban Oasis ! We enjoy a couple of hours in the spa which we thought at 9 Euros was very reasonable. On our last day we were a little concerned that check out was at 12 ,but our taxi wasn't coming until 1930 ,but the reception staff said we could use the facilities all day and shower in the spa before we left. We really enjoyed our stay here and we wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend it to others

We loved staying at this hotel, they upgraded us to rooms with balconies which was delightful when the sun came out. We hired the bikes every day to get down to the Marina, which is no distance to walk and to cycle to the nearby beaches. Very comfy beds and big showers. We loved it. Thank you to the staff too for a lovely break.

Nice hotel in good location. We stayed on a b&b basis breakfast was excellent very varied and tasted great! We stayed in an executive room in ground floor which was above the spa and overlooked car park exit which was slightly noisy. Lovely friendly staff. Nice room only thing that let it down was a very dirty shower curtain they are unhygienic at best worth considering shower screens.... and lack of tea making facilities a small but appreciated feature always worth providing I feel in a hotel room. All in all a good hotel to base yourself to explore beautiful Palma.

have stayed at this hotel over twenty years, since it was a three star. Our latest experience was poor. We booked directly with the hotel, bad idea, as price is higher on departure if you fancy it book through a site. On our arrival the bathroom floor was covered in hair, we asked Miguel at reception to resolve at 20:00 this was a problem? They have closed the cafe/bar in the hotel so you have to use the pool bar, plastic glasses when you are sitting at a table. There is a notice advising people not to put towels out, this is ignored. People put towels out and return after three or four hours, staff/lifeguard do not care. In general this used to be an 'Urban Oasis' it is now an 'Urban Desert', the staff appear to think they are doing you a favour. Years ago many Spaniards stayed at this hoteI, it now appears to be a holiday hotel, with music from adjoining rooms. I sent a complaint to the hotel as we departed at an early hour, being advised no one could deal with the issues raised, it was acknowledged on the 09/09 at 14:30 to date no response. Says it all about this hotel that has sunk to two stars

We had just arrived and already being told to pay as soon as we were checking in, not only that there was a very huge VAT charge...without even seeing the room! We had just walked into the room, which the first thing I was looking at was the fridge as it was my birthday and I was wanting to chill my champagne. I had opened what they had called a 'mini bar' and the bottles of water (which were complimentary, only for the first day) was room temperature! We had phoned reception for it to be fixed, but when (eventually) the electrician came he had said it wasn't broken but it's not powerful enough to chill a bottle! So then we had phoned for room service to supply us with an ice bucket (at least) they had said that there would be a 5€ charge each time for room service...we decided it would be cheaper to do it ourselves and walk to the bar in hotel. We were looking around in the room which had mold in the shower and around the drain in the sink, and we also found a couple of the maids hair tucked into the dressing gown and also around the toilet! When we had mentioned this they had sent a lady up to check the room, took the dressing gown away and didn't return us with a fresh one! The outdoor restaurants staff were over worked and lack of staff as they all looked fed up and took a very long time to do anything as they were so busy! On the last day as I had made sure I said I wasn't happy with our stay to the receptionist and he had shrugged it off and didn't even apologise!

Booked here with friends for a long weekend. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little small but fine for a short stay. Breakfast is good but it was difficult to get an omelette cooked to order, ingredients all there but the chef was missing most of the time, this was a shame as otherwise a good choice. Hotel is quite well situated a little out of town but it's an easy walk. Would stay here again

Booked this for 4 nights, arriving on Monday, We emailed the hotel asking for early check in (around 11am) and it was disappointing that this was not accommodated, with check in only being given at 2pm(the normal time). That said, it wasnt a massive problem as we could use the baggage storage area and we had a few drinks in the bar. The room was clean in general (the tiles in the bathroom could however have done with a decent deep clean). I would take a dressing table mirror as one is not provided. Hanging space and drawer space is limited but this wasn't a problem for us for just 4 nights. Air con in the room was good and the bed was comfortable, The breakfast each morning was very good, lots of variety and everything was fresh and hot. The pool area was good but if you want a decent sun bathing spot then you need to be in queue for 9am. Service at the bar was average. The bar could do with an extra pair of hands to ensure that drink service during the busy lunch time is faster. The clientele at the hotel in the main was good albeit from Thursday larger female groups arrived ;2 of which were quite rowdy and clearly not aware of how loud they were being which did affect the otherwise tranquil and peaceful atmosphere around the pool area in particular, prior to their arrival, For this reason, when we return to Palma, and to this hotel,I would definitely do the same days (Mon - Fri) to avoid hen parties and the like. The staff could have policed the noise a little better in my view. The gym facilities were extremely good,as was the spa and spa treatments. Overall, this is a good hotel, and in a great location -not in the hustle and bustle but a short walk to all the bars, shops and restaurants, I would definitely return. I hope the hotel however listens to the negatives raised in this review to try and be a bit more accommodating to requests for an earlier check in, provide a mirror over the dressing table, and deep clean the tiles in the bathroom. These are small things but would make guests' stay that little better and had these been met I would have given the hotel 5 stars
