Many people have stated that this hotel is “cheap & cheerful”. I guess it probably is depending on the time of year that you book this hotel. Nevertheless, for €726 for a week in August (a room for 2 people), I beg to differ. Here are a list of pros and cons: PROS: 1. A 5 minutes drive away from the airport. 2. We arrived at 3am and a staff member was available to check us in. 3. Room was spacious with multiple separate beds (I had requested for separate beds as I was sharing the room with my brother). 4. I booked via the hotels website and so the AC/Fridge was included in the fee. (I would advise you to book via the hotels website or you will have to pay for these things separately). 5. The bathroom was spacious. 6. Cleaners came on a daily basis, and also provided us with fresh towels. 7. Staff members at the main reception desk were very friendly & helpful. For example, I wasn’t pleased with the fact that my room had no balcony and so they allowed me to check out other free rooms without any issues. The other rooms were even worse than mine. 8. The hotel is about a 4-minute walk from the beach/strip, which is full of various restaurants, bars & shops. CONS: 1. The hotel has 3-4 other buildings, which I personally found confusing and only checked out 1 of them once. 2. No balcony as promised on their website. 3. The room’s décor was extremely out-dated. 4. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work (although it states on their website that it is available in the reception area, this is a lie). 5. Old school television, which does not work. 6. The bath makes a continuous hissing sound which can be a bit worrying/annoying. 7. No lock on the main door (I like to feel secure). 8. No mirror provided in the room (there is only 1 mirror in the bathroom). To conclude, if you just want a hotel that you can crash in, then this is for you. If you’re seeking a hotel that provides you with lovely décor, great entertainment, breakfast, or even a balcony that provides you a beautiful view THEN DON’T BOOK HERE! I personally do not think this hotel was worth the €726 AT ALL.
Run down property with little interest from the front desk staff. Almost impossible to get through to them by phone - and the voice mail is supported by a family message voice of a little girl??? The main phone nr on the web-site did not work either. Beds = terrible So avoid this place if you can - we just stayed there because of a late flight arrival. But it is worth to add a few euros extra and get a nicer place.
Good: Location. Near the beach. 15€ to Palma center. Bad: Room was in bad condition. Beds were really bad. You can feel the springs. Pillow was thick and rock hard. Our room door lock was broken, had to be replaced. Beach is nice but the sea water is filthy and there is a lot of garbage floating around. No Wi-Fi. No parking. Not going back.
On arrival we got upgraded and had a sea view balcony, breathtaking views and fabulous location. Room was very large and the balcony was large also. Very clean and spotless. The staff were magnificent and were so helpful to all of us. Food was amazing, with a chefs choice every night cooked to order meat. Even though it was all inclusive it is nothing like a normal hotel, food was amazing with different choices. The hotel is so clean in all areas, and Miguel was fantastic. 10/10 from all of us to you all, keep up the hard work as your hotel is fabulous. We will definately we coming back in 2018. This is now going to be a once a year girlie get away. Thank you for making our stay a memorable wonderful time. Thanks again. Jacqueline
When we arrived the receptionist booked us half way in and then left for lunch. Her replacement didn't work at the hotel so didn't know where anything was, or the key for room 330. Told us to go off and then come back in half an hour when the normal receptionist would be back. When we returned the original receptionist booked us in and gave us room 332 so not sure what was going on but we made our way to the room. I had booked a superior room and if the room we got was superior God help anyone who didn't. No balcony and the extra bed was just the sofa with a pillow thrown on it!! I went back to reception and she then gave us another room (without any fuss and didn't seem surprised we didn't like the other room) with a balcony and a little bit more room and the spare bed was a bed. The guy on reception at 3.30am was great and needs to be on during the day,
Chose a budget hotel for a short break and this one fits the bill. The downsides our balcony overlooked the ones in the next block so no view at all - but better than no balcony, the wardrobe had a door missing and one of the beds was very uncomfortable (reported to reception and put in book but nothing done)!. The upsides, very close to beach shops & restaurants, friendly reception especially lady with curly hair, good selection buffet breakfast at sister hotel & use of pool. Beds made daily and towels changed regularly. Altogether a very good hotel for a 2*.
We arrived in the middle of the night and the reception wasn't great. Our room was tiny with no air conditioning but we were moved the next day after some complaining to a much bigger room. You have to go to another hotel for meals. Breakfast was adequate but the evening meal was hit and miss! The hotel was full of Germans and stag dos. But to be honest it served a purpose, we were only there to sleep .The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was only a short walk to the beach, shops and a few bars.
I recommend this hotel as its in a great location close to the beach with good SUP and Kite surfing rentals. Its good value for money, the rooms are slightly small but clean which is always appreciated. Service is good and staff are nice and friendly.
Hotel is clean but very dated, needs bit of tlc. Beds were not comfortable at all, it might have been the room type we were in. However location is great, minutes away from Can Pastilla beach and all the bars and restuarants. Also very close to the airport hence good for one night stay if on an early flight.
Booked 2 nights here after our flight got cancelled and the new flight was two days earlier than originally planned (our main holiday hotel was fully booked and couldn't fit us in). We paid £120 PER NIGHT!!! for room only and for that we expected an at least half decent room. Our room was on the 5th floor and looked like we were the first visitors since the 1970's! On the Saturday morning the lift was broken so we had to get down the 5 floors with 2 young children 4 suitcases and bags. The marble/stone steps are all cracked with big chunks missing. After a few steps from the top I didn't see one of the missing chunks as I was concentrating on holding my suitcase and making sure the children were safe and fell. As I was unable to grab anything I tumbled to the bottom gashing my knee and ending up with the biggest blackest bruises over my legs and arms for the duration of my holiday. I know Spains not renowned for health and safety but come on! If one of the children had been infront of me I dread to think what would have happened. When we eventually got to the reception the gentleman working there must have rang a lady from one of their sister hotels who came and dressed my knee and gave us drinks (no offer to call an ambulance even though at that point I couldn't walk on my ankle). They did call a taxi for us to get to our next hotel a few streets away (at a cost to ourselves of another £10). No follow up from anyone at the hotel, nothing!
