We stayed for 4 nights in October and literally cannot fault this hotel or the resort... and we are very fussy. We stepped off the shuttle bus to a jaw dropping view and instantly fell in love with Cala San Vicente. We were given a warm welcome at reception and handed a glass of Champagne before being shown to our room. We were on the 1st floor and had paid extra for a sea view with balcony - well worth it. The room was spotless and very classy, beautiful clean, modern bathroom with a huge walk in double shower. We had tea and coffee making facilities and a well stocked fridge. There is a very small rooftop pool but we felt not big enough to swim in really, ok to sit around and sunbathe and dip your toes in (it was freezing when we were there). The breakfast buffet was lovely and what better than to sit outside listening to the waves on the beach only feet away as the sun comes up. The evening meal we had was equally good although we ate out at neighbouring hotels on other evenings. There are 4 small beaches in Cala San Vicente, all very pretty but the one round the corner at the Moulins is the nicest and most sandy. The one by the Niu hotel is very nice but quite shingly and you would need rock shoes and a dose of caution getting in and out of the water. I was also stung by a jellyfish here. The resort is not for the infirm as there are a lot of steps and winding rocky paths to negotiate, which are very quaint. for 1.50 euros you can get the bus to Puerto Pollensa and here you will find a huge choice of restaurants, we went on several boat trips here and also hired kayaks. There isn’t much to do in Cala San Vicente but it is lovely and quiet, there are a couple of bars/cafes in the streets behind the hotels and 2 supermarkets.
Visited three or four times for drinks on the terrace and twice for evening meals. The terrace has unobstructed views of the sea and beach with a mountain backdrop and is generally in the sun. Service is good and pleasant.Prices are mid range but at lunch you can eat snacks or full menu. It is more formal in the evening with the tables set and more choice. You will like the relaxed feel.
we had a wonderful time at Niu -comfortable room, terrific food and best of all was a friendly helpful staff. My Spanish improved with the help of Andries,David and Juan. Muchos gracias mi amigos. Hasta luego.
We didn't really know what to expect when we booked this hotel having never been to Majorca before and were a little concerned about the reputation of the island. However we were exceptionally well looked after by the world class staff - and in particular we congratulate Concha and Xisca the receptionists and also Monica and Andres in the restaurant. They made our stay so enjoyable.
having stayed elsewhere in CSV, I can certainly recommend this hotel as not only is it right on the beach, it has very friendly staff- always available and very helpful. Rooms arnt big, but very clean, with air con, free wi fi and a good selection of TV channels great breakfasts with a wide range of both hot and cold food, great to eat on the terraces overlooking the sea. Small rooftop swimming pool plus some sun beds.
Just returned from a 10 night stay, the rooms are small, we didn't book a sea view room as it was a lot more expensive and glad we didn't. Our room looked out on to a brick wall but had room for 2 chairs but what we didn't know is that the 4 rooms that looked out on to the brick wall had access to a private roof terrace which more than made up for it as it got sun all day until the sun disappeared behind the mountains at about 7.00 pm while the sea view rooms only got the morning sun. The pool is very small but we always got a sun bed. The breakfasts were fantastic, lovely fresh fruit, mediterranean selection, cereal, patisserie selection, and english breakfasts. The price of the drinks was reasonable and the staff very friendly.
This is a review of the hotel restaurant which was exceptionally welcoming to our group. The service was excellent both at the bar and at the table. We were given a table overlooking the beautiful cove and could not have asked for more. The seafood starter was tasty and the lamb main course exceptional. The chocolate fondant dessert was perfect. I will definitely return one day.
What can I say first day here waiting staff friendly and funny reception helpful, room to die for , view see pics ,everywhere clean and tidy watch this space thank you all for making our first day all we hoped for staff a credit to the hotel it's more like a family run than a chain
We stayed here 15th august to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday, this hotel is amazing, the room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean, all of the hotel staff were extremely friendly and very pleasant, the food was of a really high standard and some have mentioned that it was expensive I disagree, I found it quite reasonable, the roof top pool was my favourite, so peaceful looking out across the cove, it certainly will be a place I will revisit, thank you to all the staff for making our holiday special.
Stayed here as part of a Jet2 holiday. Excellent transfer arrangements and we were greeted at reception by Concha who was lovely, friendly and efficient. Room was small but had a ground floor terrace looking out over the bay. We needed extra pillows, etc. and all staff all reception couldn't do enough for us - great service. Ate in restaurant twice for lunch and once for dinner. Again it was really good service. Beautiful breakfast. Would certainly stay here again.
