We had a sea view room which was slightly spoiled by the large Pine tree obscuring most of the view. the room itself was good with a beautiful shower room. The restaurant was buffet style with excellent choice of very good food. The location was excellent-right in the heart of things in the port.. The staff were all very friendly and efficient Would stay there again
As an older generation couple, we found this a perfect location in a lovely resort. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff were very good. My minor criticisms are, the side room balcony had no shade and was very hot most of the day, the daily cleaning was a bit lax e.g. the floor was not cleaned and beds were turned down only once in the week, the room was a bit small but adequate. I would recommend this hotel and I will certainly return.
The hotel is very pleasant. Nice modern rooms, with kettle, fridge and TV. Channels BBC 1 &2, channel 4, Film 4 and more4. Room 506 is a side sea view room and is an excellent view, with the sun on the balcony in the afternoon & evening. The hotel is slap bang in the middle, right on the sea front with nice views of boats and distant mountains. Parking can be difficult as finding spaces on the streets can require patience and a decent walk! Breakfast is average, but the breakfast room has excellent views and its a speedy and efficient service. The reception and bar are top class. I would recommend hotel daina for couples or families.
We have just returned from this lovely hotel. We were given a delightful room with a side sea view but were lucky enough to have a front facing one. 306. Fantastic large fan on ceiling. Lovely spacious walk in shower. Friendly staff and good choice of fresh food at breakfast. So many delicious restaurants/cafes in very close proximity. Bus stop within a couple of minutes walk. Would love to return.
We had a side sea view room which was perfect for this time of the year. The sun was on the balcony all afternoon. We loved watching the boats coming and going. Excellent choices at breakfast and excellent position on the front. Also every evening you are serenaded as the trees below are filled with the chattering of the sparrows as they roost for the night. We found the staff very helpful and friendly.
We stayed here for 4 nights on a family holiday in May 2017. The rooms were clean with a nice balcony and close to restaurants and souvenir shops. I'd recommend this hotel for a family stay. There aren't any close bars/pubs/clubs so if that's what you are looking for then Port de Pollenca is not the place. The hotel had a nice outdoor pool with pool bar with great views of the sea. All staff were very helpful and friendly letting us know how to get to and from town etc.
Really nice hotel. Clean and ideally placed. Breakfast excellent but dinner a bit old fashioned and bland. Would stay B&B next time and eat out in the many excellent restaurants around. Bus ride to Pollenca in the evening is a must. Only 3 Euro return. Very pretty place. As is Alcudia old town, again short bus ride. All in all great stay
Large clean bedroom, excellent choice of food for both breakfast and dinner which will cater for all tastes. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Special mention to the manager of the dining room who amazed me by bringing our wine each night remembering individual room numbers. Pool area extensive with no shortage of seating areas or sun loungers with fabulous views of the bay. Took a bus to Palma, wooden train to Soller followed by a taxi to Port Soller and a bus back over the mountains back to Port de Pollensa. Very windy roads with spectacular views! Amazing bus driver who managed to navigate the roads around numerous cyclists. A trip I would def recommend. Could have stayed much longer at the Daina and will def return!
We came to Peurto Pollensa for the first time in September we loved it. The Daina Hotel where we stayed was a brilliant choice beautiful location , close to the pine walk lovely atmosphere everywhere. the staff were very friendly and helpful. We went on a trip to Formentor on the coach which took you over the mountains the scenery was beautiful. The place is so lovely the only recommendation i can give is to visits for yourselves , you will not be disappointed. We are planning on going back again very soon for longer this time. One of our friends told us if we had never been we must go and we are so pleased she did. Hope this review helps. Mr Fisher, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
We recently stayed ten days at the Hoposa Daina Hotel (on a B&B rate) and found it to be very enjoyable. The hotel was in an ideal location; breakfast was delicious; the rooms were clean; and the team helpful and friendly. We stayed on the fourth floor (408), with a great side view of the bay and the mountains.
