Stayed for 1 week in September, and this hotel is truly stunning. Spotlessly clean, excellent staff, beautiful rooms and fantastic facilities. Huge breakfast selection, all top class quality. We had a sea view room on the 4th floor and the views were amazing. Right on the beach / promenade of Sa Coma and just a short walk to Silliot. Predominately German guests. Lovely spa area (sauna, steam, gym, indoor pool).
This hotel is located adjacent to a good size beach and within a reasonable walk to bars and shops. Having recently returned we found the staff very friendly, the hotel is well maintained and offers options for swimming both outside and inside and both pools are excellently maintained. Of an evening there was superb quality entertainment. The restaurant offered a wide range of well presented food options. With regards to room location we would suggest rooms on or above the 2nd floor, as these offer the best views. Outside of the hotel there are bus stops for resorts in each direction which in our experience ran to schedule. On a negative note, on the day of our arrival there was no explanation of the procedure in the restaurant for seating and payment for drinks. Also, and for us the most annoying experience as non smokers, is the fact that smoking is allowed, unrestricted, in the outdoor areas. An area specifically for smokers would make for a more pleasant experience for all and demonstrate that the hotel takes the health care of their customers seriously. Lastly, to help guests identify staff members, could the hotel add the job title to their staff badges or possibly display a photo board.
We stayed here for 2 weeks during august. Booked a premium room and we were at the 6th floor with a great Sea view. Nice spacious room and bathroom. Great balcony we could see the entire beach front from there. Food, breakfast/dinner was great, a lot of variety and choices, was actually really impressed. Staff was friendly and always ready to accommodate. Pool was great but we only spent one afternoon at the pool, always went for the beach, which is like 50 m away from the hotel. We really loved the place and atmosphere so we will certainly be back next summer!
Everything about this hotel is perfect. The location, food, staff, facilities and entertainment. I was travelling with my elderly mother and our room was upgraded on arrival to a fifth floor room with spectacular views of pool and beach. The staff were very helpful with special requests we had m. I would recommend this hotel and will return for sure .
just stayed for a 5 night mini break on a bed and breakfast basis and already wish we had stayed longer. we had a 6th floor room and the views are amazing, the sea is a beautiful colour and not to be missed. we are not by the poolside people and prefer the beach with the hotel within touching distance and this place is defiantly that. we only had breakfast in the hotel which was nice, the restaurant is immaculate, a little too white and come across a little clinical, even some coloured table clothes would change the vibe in there, but as with the rest of the hotel the staff are great, always smiling, & always helpful. beach or poolside there were always sun-beds available, the ones on the beach which is nothing to do with the hotel are 30 euro for the pair with the parasol & the safe mounts onto the parasol, plus two free drinks vouchers in the beach bar behind, or move along a bit onto the blue sun beds and these are 5 euro but no parasol, safe or vouchers. some feel this is a little steep, but they guys that run it keep the beach are spotless and tidy and maintain all of grounds behind the promenade as well and in our view its worth while. a short stroll away is the main beach street with shops and restaurants a plenty, some great places to eat, wonder all the way round to uncle willies restaurant, its worth the walk. all in all we will be back to Sa Coma and Mediterraneo, also well impressed with Jet2 who we went with, first time we have used them and wont be the last.
Have just returned from a 2 week stay. Hipotels Mediterraneo is perfectly situated , right on the beach. Firstly, I have never stayed in a hotel where they wash the pool area twice a day. it was spotless !!!! The pool is very big and there are umbrellas for every two sun beds. There are plenty of sun beds, they are quite close but we sat at the end of a row so we could move about :-) There are plenty od daytime activities if you want to participate Aqua aerobics was great fun. Didn't understand why you couldn't use Lilo's in the pool though, the pool was large enough to not be a problem ! The bedrooms are well equipped and the balcony's large, Bathrooms good , great shower. Towels could do with being replaced they'd worn a little thin, in fact pool towels were better ! although we were only on the first floor we still had a good view of the beach and sea. We were B&B and I have to say the Breakfasts were AMAZING endless variety of everything !!! The staff are very helpful and smiling. Only ate dinner once which was ok. I have to say the dress code for Dinner ( men Long trousers) was quite discriminatory, as the men often looked much smarter than some of the women going in !!! I feel that smart tailored shorts and a shirt would be a better policy, who wants to wear long trousers in 30degrees The evening entertainment was also very good, Megastars, IL Quatro and Mowtown were excellent. All in all a great hotel .
To be honest - I was very skeptical before coming here. I normally avoid 2 things on vacation: high season and massive hotels. This year my wife and I had no other choice - so we came here. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised! We got a room with an ocean view, the staff is very professional and kind, most of all - the food is outstanding!!! A few things do need updates urgently though: rooms, safes and the gym. Aside from that - the place is clean and very well run. Some more details: Rooms: we got an ocean view room. Everything is very clean. You can tell it is old though - the furniture is shabby and the mattresses need to be renewed. The balcony is awesome though + nice TV. Gym: quite large but a bit gritty - one of the machines was not oiled properly and the treadmills are complicated to program correctly. Pool: as we were right by the beach - never used it. That being said: very clean and it seemed as if there were enough sun beds. Although it is very full - so prepare for a bit of a squeeze. Restaurant: AMAZING - a real highlight. Great staff and superb cooks. There is so much variety and the food is better than in any of the surrounding restaurants you can find. Get this: they even have an own pastry chef!! I am amazed at how they can feed all the people in this huge place so well!! Beach: not part of the hotel - kept very clean but remember: if you come in august, it will be very, very, very, very full!! Reception and Staff: I only have praise here. They work so hard and are really friendly. We arrived past midnight and the hotel had prepared a cold supper and a bottle of water for us. I travel a lot and I have never experienced such a nice gesture.
This hotel locate in a beachfront, the walk to the sea about 3 minutes and you are in a Paradise! The water is clean and warm. We stayed in this beautiful hotel about 4 nights and loved it so much! We had a sea view and for 3 days I was so lucky to watch sunrise from the balcony. We had breakfasts and dinners and it was marvelous - no any words can describe it. Mostely recommend it for couples - very romantic place!!!
We are currently staying at this resort .. it is fantastic but the dress for dinner policy confuses me , I agree that gentlemen should not wear shorts even tailored shorts , but is it right that females can wear denim cutoffs shorts which are totally opposite to what we are told we can wear . It does border on discrimination
The hotel is truly beautiful, the pool is gorgeous, the decoration amazing. It's just wow ! The food served at the buffet restaurant for both breakfast and dinner is delicious. You get a lot of choices and it changes every day ! There's even gluten free and lactose free options. The staff is always helpful and willing to adjust the ingredients for you. The hotel is located on the beach and 5 min away from shops. There's also a lot of restaurants around and places to see. A couple bad points though : our room's power kept on turning off and on by itself, the bathroom door didn't close well and we could hear really loud the furniture getting dragged by the cleaning staff early in the morning. Apart from our room small issues, our stay was great and we'll keep very fond memories.
