The hotel was lovely couldn’t fault it but as for the cleaners ! We arrived 3.30 am knackered , was woken by cleaners at 7.30 on the first morning ! The rest of the time was woken at least by 8 am , if it wasn’t the noise of them it was the loud and I mean loud conversations they had between themselves . We hadn’t wanted to have a set time of waking up that was the whole point of the break but it was ruined !!!!!!!!! No sleep !
We stayed in this hotel for a late October blast of sunshine and we were impressed with the gorgeous location in this not too busy resort. Great beach, several bars, shops and restaurants close by. Fantastic pool and other facilities. The restaurant has great buffet breakfast and dinners. Cala Millor is bigger with morecahops and restaurants, about 5 minutes in the car.
ROOM 415 I mistakingly booked this as a couple.. if you see on their own website, it is difficult to see the little box you have to check for 2 persons to 1.... I immediately emailed them when I realised what I had done. It was a pre paid rate... but it was 220 euros cheaper for single occupancy (which is what I am!!) My emails have been totally igonored.... When i checked into the hotel (at 2.45am) I asked the guy on the desk and he said he would check and get back to me (which he hasn't!) I then went to the main reception next morning and asked AGAIN... and was given a certain Patricia Losada's email and was told she would sort out for me.... nce again.... no reply to my emails!!! So basically.... they take your money...and then run!!! I'm not so much fussed about the money... but the total disrespect of not replying to my emails.... some hotel this!! I am here cycling on my own... and come to Majorca at least 14 times a year... I am currrently booked into their Hipotels Hipocampo Palace & Spa for November which I can assure them I shall be cancelling..... (I fortunately booked that one through bookings.com so I can cancel for free!!) It's a pity... as the food is ok in the buffet.... the cleaning of rooms isn't that great though... the cleaners seem to ignore the fact I have 2 dirty glasses.... and do not clean nor replace!!! (filthy!) So... as you can tell... I feel well ripped off..... paying over 770 euros for a single occupancy room when it should've been 400 odds..........shame on you Hiphop Hotels!!!
From the very warm welcome from Juan antonio, 'welcome home' our latest stay, 5 nights, was wonderful. We had a very small problem with the shower, and it was fixed within an hour. That is why we come back, nothing is ever too much trouble, the customer service is top notch. We were blessed with lovely weather, bonus, but it is so refreshing to come back to a hotel, and not be dissapointed....at all. Everyone works so hard, with a smile on their face, to make our holiday the best it can be. We enjoyed all our meals, so much choice, and a nice touch having individual desserts made. So once again thank you all so much, we sat on different tables so a special thank you to, Aaron, Ishmael, Elisabeth, Maria, Antonela, Belen, Emilia, Madelin, Angel, Pillar, Raquel, also Domonic and Christian on the bar, the lovely Adriana who kept our room clean, and Bettina, of course, always smiling, always has time for a chat, but thank you to everyone
Myself and my wife stayed at the Playa Dorada in May 2016 and looked at the Mediterraneo with envy. So we decided that if and when we came back to Sa Coma (which is a lovely place) the Mediterraneo was the only place for us. I can say straight away that the hotel lived up to our expectations. Everything was excellent, the food, the room, the pools indoor and outdoor, the spa area, the gym, the staff and the cleanliness. We couldn't fault any of it. Even the cheesey evening entertainment had us giggling. This is a mainly German resort which suited us fine, if you could imagine place that is the complete opposite of Magaluf then this is it. We thoroughly recommend this hotel to couples of all ages and nationalities if the they want a lovely week in the sun. However there is always a gripe no matter how good the accommodation. For us it was the definition of a room with a sea view. We had a room with a sea view but there was a water tank and a hotel annexe in the way (please see attached photo). The hotel needs to explain to guests that some rooms have a restricted view of the sea. I will end on a positive note by saying thank you to the hotel for presenting us with some chocolates and bubbly on our wedding anniversary.
Stayed here as part of a cycle tour with Eurobikes. This is a very big hotel, heaving with tourists, mainly German. It's very much a package holiday hotel, and, while the food was very good in the restaurant, it was like being on a massive cruise ship!
We stayed there 1 week in Oktober 2017. Our room was situated on the first floor, it had a large terrace with fabulous view. Both hotel pools were great. We had breakfasts and dinners included in our offer. They were outstanding! Such a variety of meat, fish, cheese, fruits, sweets... - everything on very high level. The room service was very discreet and accurate. Wish we could have stayed there longer...
My wife and I were so impressed by the Mediterranean that we decided to return again after a year. We were not to be disappointed by the food, it being up to the same amazing standard and choice but unfortunately our "sea view" room was located on the 3rd floor quite a distance from the lobby and restaurant with no alternative to the lower floors other than the lifts which were very slow and infrequent. The clientele was still mainly German which would account for the high standards. We had already decided to pass on the pool and use the beach across the prom, but at €30.00 for 2 loungers and a shade we thought this a bit pricy. Admittedly the cost covered for a safe, whether you wanted it or not, and 2 free drinks at the café opposite, but as last year we paid €15.00 we thought this was a rip off. It would probably have been cheaper further down the beach, but we did not try. A good holiday in all slightly spoiled by the weather for the last two days. " Rain in Spain !" We learned, on checking out that we could have requested the same room that we had last year which was over the Pizzeria. A much better location. closer to all amenities and still with a brilliant sea view.
- The pool area is great - The food and the staff in the dinning room are fantastic. - Location of the hotel was really good. - Indoor pool was a great place to relax - Onsite activities where we’ll organised -Beach access is simple and very close by - It’s good value for what you get. - Super clean Hotel. - Very relaxing and laid back vibe I would have to say this place is not bad it’s like a cruise ship on land haha. Down sides are there is to much cigarette smoke, Im not against smoking but there should be dedicated areas especially around the swimming pool as it’s not fair for non smokers to breath in smoke whilst relaxing. The food was good but the dinning room is sterile it’s like a nursing home! It could benefit with a makeover Useful Info and observations -They charge $15 euro per towel.(refunded on return) - They charge a fee to use the safe in your room - Shower is a bathtub style setup -Car parking is limited (can park on surrounding streets) - Entertainment was good but again ruined by smokers blowing smoke everywhere. - Clientele is older generation and stick to themselves so if you want to socialise and enjoy a mixing with guests don’t stay. I would say most people over 50 years old. no bar service or food service at the pool. - Rooms could do with a refurb older style and very dated. - book diners in advance ( there are 2 specialty place to eat (Japanese and TAPAS only available certain nights NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE OF YOUR TRIP.
We had a lovely week at Hipotels Mediterraneo . We did have an issue with our room but it was sorted out and we were moved to a nicer room. The staff are amazing . The customer relations manager Bettina was the most professional and caring person you could wish to meet. Bettina introduced me to the head chef who showed me what was suitable for my dietary requirements as I am a coeliac suffer to the extreme. The food at this hotel is unbelievable, the choice every morning and evening was amazing. The only negative is that there should be a smoke free zone outside especially around the beautiful swimming pool and outside dinning area .
