My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 week in September. Hotel staff were very good and very attentive. We booked for half board and experienced good meals with some nights having a theme. The restaurant did get very busy but realised the later you went the quieter it became. The weather was not as hot as we would have liked therefore the water in the pool was so cold that only managed to get in the once, but a very short distance to the beach which was shallow so perfect for young children. The room we had was newly revamped so was beautifully clean with a fantastic shower and plenty of hot water. I think that we were the only English here but that did not bother us as we found all guests very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel fantastic value.
Wow, excellent service from start to finish. Very professional helpful friendly staff at all levels. Juana looked after our room immacutely. Sparkling every day. All reception staff extremely helpful and informative. Bar staff Pepe and Julian (sorry didn't catch the others names) were brilliant. The lifeguard was very attentive and kept everyone relaxed and safe. The hotel certainly deserves praise indeed. Good food at breakfast and dinner. Everything you could think of. Always fresh and different meats, fish and vegetables on offer every night. Not a uncleared table in sight. This hotel is nearby to everything, the beach, the stores, the bars, and restaurants would certainly recommend visit. Definitely not to br missed. Plus all rooms have sea view and quiet even though everything is so nearby.
Hotel is situated close to the beach, local shops and bars. Reception is welcoming and helpful, rooms are spacious and AC works well. Good food selection for breakfast and dinner, i noticed every few days they would add something new into the menu. Wi fi is ok but you have to enter password every time you back to your room, that was a bit annoying. Building is clean and looked after. There is no parking, but you can park somewhere close on the road, i was parking a bit further on a wider road because local drivers are not very careful and you might find it scratched.. so be careful. In overall i was happy with the hotel and would recommend staying there.
Stayed for 5 days with my son. Room was a good size, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a fantastic buffet with plenty to choose from. Pool area was lovely and clean. Only a few minutes walk away from the centre of Town and 5 minutes from the beach. Perfect!
we stayed here for a week in mid september, (only just got round to doing review) we arrived at about 2.30am and the night porter was friendly and helpful and checked us in very quickly as he knew we had been travelling all day. our room was a good size and had been newly refurbished to a very high standard. we had a fridge and a large bed, the bathroom could have done with a bit more thought when it was being designed as we had to stand in the doorway, step into the shower cubicle, close the bathroom door step out the shower to get to the toilet, it was entertaining to say the least!! anyway, that aside the room was fine, the pool area was spotlessly clean and had been done to a high standard. the indoor pool downstairs was lovely and warm there was a;so a sauna and steam room that we didnt use. we went bed and breakfast but only ate there once, it was nice but typical foods, mainly catering for the hotels majority nationality of german (nothing against the germans) the entertainment was also geared towards the germans, didnt bother us as we were out every evening.the hotel has a pool bar and the waiters will bring your drinks to you. the hotel also had FREE wifi throughout the hotel, a rarity as its usually in reception only. the hotel is in a perfect location, down a side street leading to the main resort centre, literally 2 minutes walk to the beach. we have been to c'an picafort many times, was our first time to this hotel, we will definatly be back!!!
We spent a week at this hotel and just came back yesterday. We had a really good stay. The room was compact but perfectly adequate as we were never really in it but to sleep. Really clean and well decorated, the hotel has been recently refurbished and looks good. The bathroom was tiny and only one person can squeeze in at a time, so I think som may not be happy with the overall sizes of rooms. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional, bar staff were great. We did not dine in the hotel and only had breakfasts there, which was a typical hotel buffer trying to cater for all tastes. I tend to stick to continental and only tried the scrambled or boiled eggs so cannot comment on the cooked foods. The hotel is really well situated and about only 2-3 minutes walk from the beach, so we were never at the pool area. If you head left on the beach and walk for 10mins you get to quieter area of playa de muro - cheaper sun loungers too!!! Can picafort and as a result the hotel is a very popular area for German tourists, so they are predominate in the resort however if you are unable to speak Spanish or German do not worry as most hotels and restaurants staff speak English too.
Hotel was very nice, though can only comment on the part we were in. Staff, especially in the dining room very pleasant and helpful. Advertises indoor pool, steam room and sauna these are all there but have to request them to be switched on for use 24 hours in advance (except pool) When we were there, there were only another couple of British people in our part of hotel the other occupants were all German. I don't have a problem with German people on the whole but the majority who were there at the same time as us were just plain ignorant, didn't even acknowledge a good morning or evening when occupying the same lift. Food was pretty average, a few odd things included at breakfast i.e.cauliflower and broccoli, however unless you were fussy could always make some sort of meal. Went to market and unfortunately my bag was opened and my purse stolen so beware!! The entertainment wasn't too great, the only night that looked promising was called of due to the weather, another evening there were 2 men dressed as women who asked first if there were any English in the audience and when no one put their hands up obviously said something about the English that the Germans in the audience seemed to find hilarious. We were on the 6th floor and apart from the odd ant (which we could have brought in ourselves on towels) it was all very clean and not noisy. There were 3 of us in a room meant for 2 so we were a bit crowded but nothing we couldn't cope with just meant our beds were squashed together. On the whole we had a good holiday. Forgot to mention, at no time were we told where our nearest fire exit was and there were no mention of them in the room, we did locate them easily enough though.
I didn’t expect lot of from Majorca hotels as been there before but I was pretty nice surprised. Hotel looks like brand new, reception is gorgeous, bar and swimming pool was extremely clean. Room overall very nice and clean- so cant expect more. We arrive in very early morning – around 3am and receptionist, Bernard , was brilliant, looked like awaiting us and made our check in so easy and friendly. So first hotel impression was passed. In the next morning we went for breakfast and was really positive feeling as dining room was so spotless, and staff very helpful. The only one negative is, that there is no activities for kids- but wouldn’t complain as website informed us about it. In Sum- we spent great time, hotel was perfect- close to the beach and no issue at all. All staff was really friendly, did job. Big thanks Guys for that
From the moment we stepped in to the room we noticed lots of bugs crawling on the walls. We asked the receptionist about what kind of bugs it was, but he completely rejected the idea of bugs in the hotel. When we asked him to come with us to see them he refused. We asked to switch rooms, but that was apparently impossible. The day after, another receptionist promised us that we could change room later in the week, and that she would make a note of it. That never happened. We slept with the lights on our entire stay. That kept them hiding for the most part, but we had to kill a lot of bugs. The room was very dirty, especially in the corners and anywhere that you won’t see at a glance like behind the curtains to the balcony. “Cleaning” every day and fresh towels is a plus. A lot of noice from traffic. The reception staff wasn’t very polite or welcoming to any questions we had. Our last day the water was cleansed and we could not use it anywhere in the hotel.. We were lucky to notice a note in the elevator about this an hour before the water was pumped full of chemicals that would be harmful to our skin and eyes had we used the water. The note was in German and Spanish only.. We had to talk to the reception again to have them translate. We had to explain our need to shower the last day before our flight.. Received little to no understanding, but it was eventually sorted out. Gave us a very stressful last day The breakfast buffet was ok/good. Some not so clean plates with food scraps under them, but that happens. The hotel itself was poorly managed, but it is a nice hotel that looks quite good. We had one of the big rooms, but I would consider it small. The area around the hotel is very nice and it is not too far to the beach which is beautiful. Everyone will assume you are German.
Me, my wife and our 10 month old daughter went for a week and we're unsure before we went due to some of the reviews we read. I can confirm that yes most of the guests are German but we had no issues with that, the pool was lovely and we managed to get a sunbed everyday. Check in was no hassle and everything was clean. We were concerned that our room was 501 on the top floor which was a bit of a walk with the pram however, the room was away from other guests so it meant we didn't feel concerned everytime our daughter shouted or woke up during the night. The room was on the small side (not a problem when you are just sleeping in it) it was clean and the cot for our daughter was great, clean and modern. The restaurant was very nice a wide variety of food for all tastes and the staff were excellent. Drinks and snacks we very well priced e.g bottle of beer €2.40 a glass of wine €2.80 and a baguette with fries and salad €5 . Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
