First impression, not 4 star. I paid just shy of 2 grand for a week's holiday in this hotel. Which included an upgrade, sea view. What did I get that made me feel that this hotel was worth the money, NOTHING, not even a kettle in the room. And don't bring your cat because you won't be swinging it in the room I paid for. Take me home.

We stayed in one's the older not refurbished rooms. There was a funky smell and the interior seemed to be from the 90s, yet it was clean and given the price we paid - good value. The best thing about this hotel is the location, pool area and a good breakfast buffet.

Just returned from a 5 night stay in the Playa Marina. The hotel is finished to a high standard and my room was spacious, although the balcony unfortunately did not provide a sea view. However the bar, restaurant terrace and pool have great sea views and provide a very peaceful setting. The hotel is well situated with several cafes (with free wifi!) within 5 minutes walk and Illetes beach not much further away. My one suggestion is that the wifi situation in the hotel definitely needs to be improved - it's not okay to charge for wifi (including 'in your room') but for there to be very poor signal in most of the hotel (except reception), including in my room. However, overall I have a very enjoyable stay and will certainly consider returning in future.

Good position on the sea, nice area, good overall quality, not far from the town. Good quality of the room and services, nice and polite staff, good breakfast choice, good solarium and access to the sea Negative points: - conditioned air missing in my room, not sure if it is the same in the whole hotel, it might be an issue when the season gets warmer; - despite I was lucky and got free park in the street, in general to park is difficult, garage from the hotel is available though it's not free.

I recently stayed with my wife at the Playa Marina in Illetas (Mallorca.) We enjoyed a fabulous 4 night break at the end of April. The hotel staff were very friendly. My birthday was on 28th April.  We enjoyed champagne breakfast, followed by cake in this lovely hotel. We did the 1930's period vintage train ride  from Palma to Soller old town, transferring to the Vintage Electric Tram from Soller onto Port de Soller on the coast. We returned to the Playa Marina about 9.30pm to find a surprise bottle of complimentary chilled Cava Rose and 2 glasses along with a happy birthday note from the Hotel Management. I believed my wife had instigated this, but was surprised to learn that it was compliments of the hotel! I would like to thank the management once again for helping to make my 53rd Birthday, one of the most memorable and the best ever! Your thoughtfulness was very much appreciated. It was obvious that much money appears to have been invested in the hotel infrastructure over the winter and we convey our very  best wishes for a successful year in 2017. We hope to visit again sometime in the future

Just arrived back from this lovely hotel spent 4 days there with my sister.Very nice hotel staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble.Gorgeous food always presented well, clean rooms maid came in every day and left it spotless including clean bedding and towels.Great views over the sea while relaxing in the sun.Room was a little too small for us and had no kettle but one was supplied free of charge.Would definitely go again.

Room, supposedly the best in hotel, quite small for a junior suite. Air conditioning seems shared with other rooms and not efficient. Hotel seemed more geared to coach parties. Breakfast buffet ok. Food at dinner some of the worst I have ever experienced. Spent most of the time at The Bonanza hotel (5 minutes walk) also a 4 star but far superior in every respect. I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel last July for 10 nights. Our suite was big and had a separate living room and two balconies. We got great sea view. Breakfast was ok and the sea was very clean. The sunrise was very lovely. Our suite was not very clean..but quite nice.

Great views from the rooms probably the higher floors the best. Really is sea front. Rooms and hotel very clean were given upgraded room as end of season very few guests, fairly small but acceptable with small balcony with great views of coast. The bathroom has glass wall to room foyer so you need to be close friends to share a bedroom. Pillows like rocks but otherwise beds ok. Breakfast buffet reasonable certainly you can eat as much as you could possibly manage. We had evening meal in the bar by the pool starter and desert buffet very good main of steak in sauce or cod or vegetarian option, good value. They opened the breakfast room early for our early departure. Very deep pool not for non swimmers. Good hotel not great.

The hotel is in a pleasant location but somehow it lacks atmosphere. There was no form of entertainment in the evenings when I was there in the first two weeks of October. Outside of the hotel, there was nothing except for a small supermarket and a couple of roadside restaurants. The buses run every 10 minutes into Palma so that was the best escape route! As for the hotel itself, it had both good and bad points. Unlike some others, I found the staff helpful and any problem was attended to without delay. The food was excellent. The only problem was that they did not cater very well for vegetarians and I think they would need to improve in this area. Regarding the housekeeping, I felt that the cleaning could have been better. The floors never looked as if they had been cleaned and I had to ask that the toilet be disinfected. In the bathroom, I was only supplied with some small shower gels, a tiny piece of soap and two cotton wool pads. Hardly 4 star! A small bottle of water cost one euro 50 from a machine and it also cost one euro to weigh your luggage. Everything came at a cost. Although I paid extra for a moderinised double room, there was no double bed - just two singles pushed together but they were reasonably comfortable.
