just came back from ten nights at this hotel and I couldn't wait to catch up on ten nights sleep! first of all let me begin with the good points ...location is excellent rooms cleaned every day. pools were clean and could usually get a sun bed . breakfast is 8 till 10.30 and on our last morning we were allowed to go at 7am before we got picked up at 7.40. end of good points... so on our arrival, we checked in and went to our room. ground floor right next to the street... great stuff!! our bathroom was a wet room.so youd presume its for disabled but you could not have got a wheel chair around anywhere other than the bathroom. our room does not feature in any of the pics from their webpage . so we think oh well its only really to sleep in ..sleep?? whats that?? . mornings were the worst we could hear kitchen staff preparing for breakfast.. the staff were throwing cutlery around and banging n clattering a little more consideration is needed there. also the noise in the street is none stop , sounds like someone is playing bongos on the bins every morning. can hear guests in next room showering and the hair dryer . we were going to ask to be moved but we heard another guest asking and they were told the hotel was full . I would not stay here again unless I was guaranteed top floor facing the pool. its a shame really because the noise is the only thing that would stop us from staying
Stayed here with my husband for our first anniversary for 1 week mid June. We was going to change our mind last minute and swap to a different hotel, but am I glad we didn't! First of all there are 3 main things for me that stood out for this hotel - Location - Breakfast & How Clean the Hotel Is! Check in went fine - we had a pool view suite and the room had everything we needed. Tea & coffee facilities & fridge. Bathroom was beautiful & had a little goody bag of bits (& a fruit platter!) Breakfast in the morning is to die for! There is not 1 thing I can think that was missing - there is nearly everything anyone could want for breakfast! You can even sit on the tables around the pool in the morning (& have a glass of bubbly that's on offer too every morning if wanted!) Location of this hotel is 10/10! There is a back gate which most people used which takes you onto the streets where there are of restaurants & shops - the beach is about 1 minute walk. First half of the week we got sunloungers ok, but the middle of the week we had to reserve them when we went down for breakfast as if you left it will about 8.30/9.00am they would have gone! Happy hour 5 - 6pm where drinks are buy 1 get 1 free. (The cocktails were amazing!) Our room was cleaned everyday and not only our rooms but the hotel was spotless!! Overall extremely pleased with the hotel & our stay - would 10000% stay again! BBQ on Tuesday night - if you are not staying all inclusive you can pay 15 euros pp and have your evening meal at the hotel. We didn't have this but it did look beautiful! Safe was 15 euros for the week - hair dryer in room but no iron. Handful of English TV channels. There is just 1 thing I do agree on when I read through the reviews before we went and that was how thin the walls are! You can hear people talking, doors etc but as we wasn't in the room much this didn't bother us too much!
Had a 4 night break here, good clean rooms. Pool area was spotless too. Great weather always helps 😎😎Only down side I could say, is the staff all look miserable!! Location can't fault, 2 mins to beach and restaurants and bars.

This hotel has everything and more you could ever possibly need on a holiday. I had the best time and plan to return very soon! Rooms - We were in room 202 on the 1st floor with a street view. It was perfect. Nice size, spotlessly clean, nice balcony, spacious bathroom with a great shower, tv with English channels, great mirror I could go on and on. Great wifi which worked in all areas of the hotel. Breakfast - One of the hardest decisions on the holiday was what to eat for breakfast. The choice was endless. There was even an egg station making fresh pancakes and omelettes. One morning there was a chocolate fountain. Location - Located in the Port of Alcudia the location was excellent. 2 minutes from shops, bars, the beach, taxis, the location could not be any better. Although if you are looking for lively bars late at night then this is the wrong end of town for you. It suited us perfectly! Staff - Bar staff and dining room staff were lovely. Reception staff weren't as great but a few didn't speak very good English. Spa & Pool - 2 small pools which were ideal. Plenty sunbeds, lovely Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna (all free of charge). Very peaceful and relaxing around the pool all day. My friend had a birthday while we were away and the staff provided her with a free spa treatment and a chorus of happy birthday at breakfast followed by some champagne. A lovely touch. I only have one and its a very minor issue - we were told by the life guard no drinks from outside the hotel are allowed to be consumed around the pool. We took this in to account and went to the bar for 2 diet cokes - they cost 8 euros for the 2. A little bit expensive. A cocktail was only 5 euro. I will definitely be returning to EIX hotel Alcudia and have already pencilled in a date. I just need to get it booked.
Words cannot describe how bad it was. We asked to move rooms as the first room was too crampt and dirty. By dirty, I mean there were toe nails on the floor when we arrived. The reception staff were rude, incompetent and far from professional. They did not deal with this matter well. No compensation was offered not even a drink but they still wanted money off us!!Speaking of drinks, the only good thing about the hotel was the bar and restaurant staff who were lovely. The pool area was tiny and you couldn't make a noise. Even breathing was frowned upon and got many scowling looks!! The second room was better but was still small. I have stayed elsewhere in rooms twice the size but for far cheaper. Not recommended.
Great hotel Eix Alcudia and great location central to everything , clean comfy and lovely helpful staff who let you get on with your holiday anything you want to know about the resort you ask at reception and they advise you.Good food and good choice of food lovely rooms and very clean ,whats not to like?
We picked he EIX hotel as it was 'Cycling Friendly' and we were booking a cycling holiday for 15 blokes, who's needs were basic but obvious. We needed cycling facilities, lots of good food, convenient location for cycling routes and bars/restaurants. Overall this hotel was a bargain price for the last week of April 2017. Our booking was direct on the EIX website and included half board and airport transfers with 2 blokes sharing a room. The rooms were great apart from the beds being basic metal camping bed frames. The reception, bar and restaurant were all very good and the staff were also pleasant. The food can be described as good typically continental and plentiful, but they have not really accommodated cyclists needs very well as they chop up all the bananas in the morning so you cant take any on your ride and there is no porridge. The pool area is a real sun trap and is lovely if not a bit small. One thing that is hidden away is the Spa facilities which are free for all guests to use including, Saunas, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, small gym, showers etc. Cyclist Tip - You can book a leg massage here after a long ride but you need to book a day ahead but its well worth it. The hotel also has a basement lockup for your bikes which can get packed as it's quite small, but it works well and is secure - take your own padlock with you as the hotel provides wire loops on the wall racks. Because of the price and package we will be booking again, but there are other hotels close by which have more sports specific facilities and cater the foods for cyclist, but they do cost a lot more. Don't hesitate to book if your a group of cyclist but this is not the place for couples to enjoy a relaxing break as you will notice that it feels more like a 3* hotel with adequate facilities.
Check in was fast and very efficient. Paid our tourist tax. Was shown our room and it over looked the pool. No noise from the neighbours. Lovely powerful shower. Breakfast had a huge selection and even had a chocolate fountain one morning. Only one small point in which the double bed slates were very loose and they came out a few times. Would I return - yes I would without a question.
Loved this adults only hotel. The staff were good humoured and efficient. Hotel is clean and modern and the pool area is lovely. The quite atmosphere made for the most relaxing break we have ever had 💞
