The Hotel is nice & clean and the Staff are all pleasant & helpful we found the food to be nice and a good variety available.. the restaurant staff work extremely hard but are always pleasant... However my issue was I feel you should be able to have a jug of water with your evening meal instead of having to pay €2.30 for a small bottle of water... other Hotels/Restaurants do this... The Pools were a nice size and very clean it was lovely having the beach so close..that was a bonus in itself..the lady in the on site shop is very helpful and really lovely and friendly..Bus near by to go for day trips..Alcúdia Markets etc.. But... this Hotel definitely caters more for the German Tourists only 1 English Sky news channel on the T.v all the others 50+ are German... The WiFi wasn’t brill at all kept going off.. To say this is classed as a 4* Hotel the rooms need TLC and cheering up quite drab to be honest..didn’t feel 4* at all stayed in a lot better 4* Hotels.. The Children’s indoor Pool area is in desperate need off updating and basically cleaning really quite scruffy and smelly.. Would I go again.. No.. We felt quite isolated no other English people and everything catered for Germans....

This was our fifth time in Mallorca and the best hotel we stayed in. We stayed for 10 days and never were served the same food. The food was excellent and plenty, with delicious deserts and a lot of fruit. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very courteous and was able to answer any question we had. Our compliments!

On arrival at the hotel in the early morning we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who understood our tiredness and was efficient in checking us in. The twin cycling room is simple but comfortable with a good sized bathroom and our room overlooked the neighbouring chalet grounds with a view of the sea and mountains. Breakfast throughout the stay was delicious and had a good selection of foods including fresh fruit, continental style and cooked breakfast. There was also a table of gluten free foods, with a sign translated into multiple languages - this included, cookies, cereal, bread and muffins. Dinner was just as varied with a different theme on the main buffet counter each evening. The staff were also really forthcoming in helping to identify which options were suitable for coeliacs which meant that I didn't feel like a nuisance asking each night. The grounds were clean with a good amount of sunbeds around the pool and the beach is less than a minute walk over a wooden bridge - the sunbeds are chargeable by the day on the beach but there is plenty of space for towels. The beach is surrounded by mountains and is really picturesque. The aspect of this hotel that stood out was the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! The cleaner of our room was amazing, engaging us and our broken Spanish! The bar staff and servers in the restaurant were really efficient and wonderful. The entertainment team were fantastic, particularly Alena, Jezu and Enrique! The team had amazing language skills meaning that persons from all countries felt included. An extra special thank you to Xena on the front desk who went above and beyond to help us to organise aspects of our stay with patience and diligence. This is a wonderful. comfortable and well located hotel to stay.

The grounds of this place are really nice. The pools are spectacular and the beach access is really nice as well. Some things were lacking though. First of all, charging human beings for water with dinner is criminal! At breakfast you get teeny tiny little glasses to drink water from their machine. At night, they lock it up and make you pay to drink clean water. Truly deplorable. We also had our laundry done through the front desk. They ask that you allow 24 hours for laundry turnaround. Ok no problem. We were staying for two nights, so no biggy, right? Well 30 hours later, as we were about to go to bed, the laundry finally made it. Some things about this place are good but it's the small things that make a place great. This particular hotel is lacking in the important , small things. Stop charging your guests for an absolute necessity.

Great location near the beach. Clean pool areas and friendly/no intrusive animation-staff. Balanced menu selection in the dining room - for kids and adults. There is only a limited selection of deck chairs available at the pool.

Not sure if we would stay again because of the lack of facilities which is a shame because everything else was ok.... The Hotel is more for German tourists as there are over 50 German TV channels but only 2 English channel which were news channels so not very exciting, and although all the staff do speak English, they mainly speak German and say good morning, thank you in German because most of the guests are German and they just assume everyone is German. The on site shop only sells German newspapers too. We had 2 standard rooms and 1 family room. We did have problems with the fridge in 2 rooms as it was not cold and also the air-con but they were sorted out in 24 hours. Our family room was disappointing as there was no kettle or microwave to heat baby milk so make sure you take a kettle because they will charge you 15 Euro to hire one or you could buy one locally for 30 Euros. There is also no bath and the basin is very shallow so not great for washing baby bottles etc. The family room was on the ground floor near the pool but had no nice views. It had a patio area but was a bit tired and could do with a coat of paint and tidy up as all the plants were dead. The patio area was a good size with table and chairs and 2 sun beds but a small area for the kids would be great with a little playhouse and soft flooring would be good too. The hotel itself was nice and clean and the rooms were ok. The location is excellent and the pool was very good and big too but you have to get there early to get a bed as the Germans are queuing up at 9am. They have plenty of space so could probably add 30-40 more sun-beds! Not sure if we would stay again because of the lack of facilities for English tourists which is a shame because everything else was ok.

Stayed here last week with friends. On arrival the reception couldn't have been more helpful. We had 3 rooms and the reception managed to juggle a bit of her magic and managed all rooms on the same floor. Rooms were adequate although could do with some colour or pictures to brighten them up a bit. Bed was comfortable asked for extra pillows and they were there straight away. Cleaning of the room was good. Restaurant - the food was plentiful and self service lots of choice, hot and delicious. Every night was a different menu from around the world. The only thing that I think was bad was the charge you 2.20 euros for water and that's a small bottle, I really think they should give a jug free of charge like most restaurants in Mallorca they we ate in previously. Bar- where do I start. On the first evening I asked if I could possibly get a cup for my room. You would have thought I had asked for the earth. The bar man was rude and gave me a plastic beaker. Give you another chance I thought the following evening. Sitting outside at one of the tables with friends, he went to walk to our table, saw it was us and turned and walked away. We left and went along the promenade and found friendly bar staff. Second night went to the bar. Waited and waited ..... the bar staff were behind the bar chatting, they could see us waiting no service. Promenade again. Getting fitter by the night with all the walking. The inside pool is very tired. The flooring is dangerous as it is all plastic matting. Mostly used by the kids. The room off of the indoor pool looks like there should be a jacuzzi but more like a builders store. Could be amazing with a bit of TLC. The outdoor pool is spacious with plenty of sun beds, never a problem finding one. The wooden walk ways around the pool in places is worn and cracked. On site shop very lovely lady that runs it good for snacks and drinks. The pool cafe. We ordered tuna salads, I can tell you I have never had such an amazing salad it was delicious. They door various snack and are brilliant. Short walk across to the beach. Sun sea and sand amazing. Sun beds are 4 euros. Coffee bar on the beach too. Don't pack a towel as you get towels from reception 10 euros if you loose it which I think is good. Although a little tired in places this wasn't a bad hotel just needs a bit of TLC.

Although can Picafort left a little to the imagination, and the average age of the guests were (well) above what we are, we really enjoyed the hotel, clean, breakfast was good, bar was good, pool was good. Previous reviews I saw on here made me a bit sceptical but they were wrong, couldn't really fault the place. The staff were excellent. Picafort was very quiet this time of year but The hotel made up for it! There were hundreds of German cyclist around at the time which was fine. We were told to hire bicycles from easy tours which was part of the hotel. The German staff in easy tours were very rude and poo-pooed us (so it felt) because we weren't German (or maybe because we were English) but I don't blame the hotel for them being so obnoxious. We went up the road to a Spanish place to hire bikes and they were very polite and got a bike no problem. Hotel was great! Would come again but when the town is busier!

Hotel needs heaps of renovation. Gym was terrible, there was tiny trade mill for kids :) is that a gym or play ground, smells very bad no air condition. Beach was beautiful but you need pay umbrella and bed total costs you Euro 13.00 each day. Food was delicious great variety for dinner but I can't say same thing for breakfasts. Internet connection was disaster.

Took a family vacation and was lucky enough to stay at the wonderful place. We stayed in the apartments, which was a great size. The staff were so nice, friendly and so helpful. Hotel was right on the beach. Close to everything. We will be going back there next year. The only thing they are missing is the amount of lounge chairs by the pool. And that's not a big deal.
