What a lovely Petit Hotel! A rural elegance that gives it a wonderful intimacy. As a tourist who doesn’t want to stay with a lot of other tourist it is ideal. The small town of Lloseta has a very “locals” feel but with a surprising large number of superb restaurants in the surrounding area.
This ist an old Palace that was renovated some years ago. They definetly did an excellent job, you just have to take a look at the photos, they are better than thousand words. The bed was not only big but really comfortable. Breakfast is good. There are restaurants close to the hotel in all price categories, all if them worth then visit. The hotel has a lot of charm, the service is really friendly and will Take care of your wishes.
Lloseta, a lovely old town with a maze of narrow one way streets, is challenging in sheets of rain. The GPS said we had arrived at Cas Comte but the hotel was nowhere to be seen. I walked down the hill and circled back up the stairs by the church but there was no sign of a hotel. Finally stopped someone on the street who directed me back down the hill and left into a municipal parking lot and up some steps. By this time I am beyond soaked but managed to find the entrance and tentatively rang the bell at reception. I could hear staff talking and conscious of being double parked, I RANG the bell again. And then I RANG THE BELL. And then I headed towards the voices. I explained that we had difficulty finding the hotel as there didn't seem to be a sign and needed instructions for parking. The reception person LAUGHED! She said "I am not responsible for the weather". That was our welcome. If we hadn't prepaid, I would have walked. My partner kindly brought the luggage up the stairs and across the 200 foot cobbled courtyard with no smooth path for luggage. On his third trip in the downpour the receptionist held the door open for him. And the next day we found the sign - photograph attached! We were given the smallest room in the hotel with a shuttered window. No natural light for four days felt like living in a cave. The bed and bedding were superb. Bathroom was modern and well equipped. Breakfast was a delight as was the server. Noise from the room above was ongoing. On our day of departure we found a back entrance at street level not available to guests which may have allowed easy delivery of luggage. Santa Tauri Restaurant was worth the trip to Lloseta . . . And I would never go back!
We stayed here for seven nights in November and had a lovely restful break. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff who couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully furnished and well equipped and the bed was probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in. We felt that a car was essential for a longer stay because the town is quite small and choice of restaurants for an evening meal is limited, especially out of season. Breakfast was a meal fit for a king served in an attractive dining room with a delicious and plentiful choice of fresh, local produce which was replenished constantly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing holiday with a real Majorcan flavour.
After looking at most of the hotels in Majorca, this particular hotel stood out in terms of both review and ratings. Firstly let me say we were no disappointed it truly is a wonderful hotel. however i would like to breakdown some of the components for everyone to be informed. We flew from Bristol airport with Easy-jet, which i have to say is a pleasant enough flight, you get what you pay for. We were informed that a taxi to the hotel was about 60 euro, and it was that, however, when you leave the departure gates, go across the road, and there is a bus terminal to the central train station and a train that will take you to Lloseta for a total price of 10 euros. i am not being tight but it truly is so simple, I encourage the hotel to put the details on there site for all to see. Arrived at the hotel and we were warmly welcomed, where we were showed to our room, the room was very well presented, and it is what i had ordered, ( be aware when booking through booking.com you need to really check, and the prices do fluctuate, the later the cheaper) we were informed that dinner is booked for us, and that they no longer do evening meals at the hotel but the restaurant down the road 200 yds. firstly this was a surprise, secondly this should be know on the website. The restaurant is of an excellent quality and the food is somewhat delicious, the restaurant manager does not speak english which makes more of an interesting evening, there was not one evening the food was of a poor standard. the meals are of a set menu you either have fish or meat, and very little vegetables. during the week I asked if i could get some english breakfast teabags for the room, to which i was told i would be charged for this, i did explain that there was none in the room or it was of the variety kind, it was explained to me that the tea bags in the room were cheap one, and the ones they use for breakfast are very expensive, i commented that, so is my stay. that to me is an negative. and i think the hotel needs to address it. overall the hotel truly is a heavenly place, it the first hotel where the staff leave you alone as adults but are very helpful when needed. we visited 2 high quality restaurants when we were there both in Lloseta, first Tomeu Lassio this i have to say was a fantastic restaurant of a very high standards and very much worth booking into, you can book this during your stay. Second Santi Taura Restaurant, Lloseta, you need to be advised, please email call in advance of your stay, this truly is a wonderful restaurant, you will be blown away with both the service and the quality of food, i truly recommend this. on the return journey we used the public transport and it really it the simplest of journeys, pleased don't be fooled into thinking you must get a taxi. the only change i would make, is i would either hire a bike during my stay or hire a car. a few points that i think need to be address, but overall a fantastic stay Mark F
We stayed here for 3 nights, and wished we had booked for the whole of our holiday. For once, the real thing exactly matches the photos on the website! The hotel is between a beautiful church and an old palace, and the setting as you walk through the wrought iron gate is magical. You find yourself in a huge courtyard with tables and chairs at the top, and a row of sun loungers at the bottom. Attention to detail is evident everywhere, and the whole place has been meticulously restored to make a very interesting and luxurious hotel. Absolutely charming. After our first 'hotel', our room almost took our breath away. It was on 3 levels. Downstairs was the bathroom with a shower and a jacuzzi bath that was big enough for a whole family! Fluffy white towels, wonderful bath robes, and top quality toiletries - what a dream. Upstairs was a sitting room which included TV, computer, coffee machine and mini bar (with a complimentary bottle of Cava which was highly appreciated!). Above this was the bedroom with another TV, and a King size bed fitted with crisp white cotton sheets. You honestly couldn't wish for a more beautiful room. On the roof is a lovely swimming pool with sun loungers, sun shades, and a view to die for. The breakfast buffet was a real treat and included everything anyone could want. Assorted cheeses, meat, bread and pastries, along with bacon, eggs, yoghurt, cereals, freshly squeezed orange juice, and more varieties of fresh and dried fruit than Morrisons! What a wonderful start to each day, especially when you are sitting in sunshine. This is a family owned hotel, where high standards and professionalism really matter. All the staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful, and our whole experience here was a complete joy and unforgettable.
We stayed at Cas Comte Petit Hotel for 3 days. The building itself is beautifully converted and the rooms were lovely, large & comfortable with a huge double bath. There's a roof top pool (freezing!) and a very nice spa area in a converted cellar with jacuzzi, sauna etc. The hotel restaurant is not onsite, it's in a restaurant just a couple of mins walk away. They provide a set menu for hotel guests for 20 euros, very reasonable price but it unfortunately lacks any choice. They seemed to have a different menu on the go for non-hotel customers but we didn't see it, worth checking perhaps. Also look out for a restaurant called Sa Cotxera - it has very good home cooked Majorcan food (check their opening hours) and a tapas night on Thursdays. Lloseta is a very small town, there's nothing notable to see or do here (only relax!) but it's easy and cheap to get to other places by train. The market at Sineu on a Wed morning is worth a look (20 mins by train) and is also a larger town with nice restaurants/bars.
We had a good stay here. I'd say the rooms were wonderful and the breakfast was great though mixing ham in with the scrambled eggs was a fail. My wife and son enjoyed a massage in the spa. My wife thought it was really excellent in fact. The chef was ill the night we were there so no dinner but we went out and did enjoy a great meal at one of the few local restaurants. Llosetta itself isn't really an attraction. I visited the spa which was good but I thought they could've done more to make it a more relaxing, pampered experience. They have a sauna and steam bath and a jacuzzi thing but no cold dipping pool. You have to bring your towel from your room and overall I didn't feel I was visiting a spa as they advertise. It really was just a downstairs room with spa facilities. It was good but not great, hence 4 star rating.
This hotel was wonderful! Great quiet location, perfect for people that want to get away from the charter-tourism. The room was lovely, we got a free upgrade to a suite with was lovely. The breakfast was superb with lots of delicious choices. Local produce fruit, cheers and ham nice homemade cake, different types of egg and all you could dream about and more. The coffee was great also. The staff was wonderful and nice all from reception to the waiters serving breakfast to the way lovely lady who took care of our room. will most definitely go back!
Great accommodation in a very cozy old villa. Superb and romantic rooms. With a pool on the rooftop. Big selection for breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. located in a very quiet village far off the big tourism places.
