Arrived at hotel late evening to a warm welcome from receptionist, she checked us in and offered us a selection of cold buffet food in the dining room, she also brought us a lovely glass of cava. Room was overlooking the pool and entertainment area, nicely furnished and immaculately clean. Food was of good standard and show cooking at all meals, good selection at all meals, waiting staff very friendly and courteous and always had a smile. Never any need to rush for sun loungers as there was always plenty around the pool area and well kept gardens. Great entertainment staff, Sarah and Miguel who worked hard every day. We joined in several activities and they made it fun, they're a credit to the hotel. Hotel situated a short stroll from shops, bars and beach. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return, the staff were all friendly and worked hard to make sure guests had a great stay.
We stayed at this hotel for the last week in October/November and was very disappointed. The food wasn't very good, hardly any vegetables to be seen, the meat cooked on the griddle was tough and unable to chew it. In addition the pool and snack bar closed half way through the week meaning you had to get dressed and walk through the hotel to the evening bar to order a drink or snack. On the last 3 nights several Spanish bus trips arrived at the hotel and everything was catered to these including spanish only music on an evening. Would not return to this hotel.
Stayed for a week all inclusive at the end of October. Not sure what to expect from reading the reviews but overall very pleased with our stay. Had a superior double on 3rd floor with a view across the pool and outside bar. Room was good with walk in shower and sufficient storage space for the two of us. Nice touch with fruit and nuts on dressing table on arrival. Spacious pool area with plenty of sunbeds and no need to get up at crack of dawn to reserve one. We found food, although a little limited in choice, to be of good quality and were rarely disappointed. Evening entertainment was limited with live entertainment on 3 nights only, one of which was poor. Miguel and Sarah (animation team) were enthusiastic and did their best to compensate. Hotel staff were welcoming and pleasant with particular mention for Erik who kept us plied with alcohol for the week.
We visited this hotel last week 26/7_2/11 weather was wonderful. The hotel and grounds were exceptional always freshly cleaned as we're the pools. The rooms were really good value all had own balcony. The entire staff did a fantastic job ensuring that rooms were always clean bar and kitchen staff all need a medal for their hard work. We will return thank you all for a lovely stay.
We visited for the final week of the season and were very impressed by the standards still in operation, staff, facilities and services sometimes get tired but everything here was first class Every member of staff was efficient and friendly The room and general areas very clean and well maintained The food was varied, well presented, lots of choice and plentiful - just two improvements could be made in my opinion. One - it could be served/kept hotter. Two - the morning juice selection from the machine was very sugary, I would gladly pay a little extra for freshly squeezed juice All in all an excellent hotel
Just returned last week from Cala Mllor Gardens, and have nothing but praise. Our arrival was just as lunch service was finishing and the receptionist was quick to suggest we left our luggage and had lunch before completing our check in. We felt under no pressure to rush. Our room was on the 5th floor with a pool view and was quite large enough with plenty of storage, fridge and tv with English channels. No kettle but plenty of sockets to use our own. Large rainfall shower and large towels and a hairdryer which was not bad for hotel stock. Down side like many others have said, a shelf and a hand rail in the shower would be helpful. The bed was very comfortable, if a little creaky with 2 large pillows each. The room has air conditioning but we choose not to use it leaving the patio door open with the net curtain drawn to keep out the insects. The balcony was big enough to sit out on to watch the sun set and had a clothes drier. We also had a good view of the next hotels outdoor show and some may find the noise annoying if they liked an early night. Chickens !! the hotel seemed to be surrounded by a team of free range chickens and they didn’t only crow at dawn, they partied all night. Didn’t bother us and I think if the window was shut you wouldn’t be able to hear them. Food – For all-inclusive there was a large varied selection we could always find something to eat which was very tasty and hot. There is a theme night which has to be booked 2 days in advance but is not widely publicised. The staff provided cava and fruit tray in our room for our anniversary and a special table, cava and a cake (which I ordered and paid for) in the restaurant. The pool and gardens are kept lovely and we had no problems getting sunbeds at any time of day. The Bali beds have to be booked 24 in advance which meant we didn’t use them, even though we asked at 9.30 in the morning to hire one for that day. They lost a sale and none of the beds were used that day. The indoor pool is a lovely extra and some of the exercise classes were held there. The entertainment team worked very hard and were not at all intrusive if you said no, but we really enjoyed some of the activities. The evening entertainment was very hit and miss. The hotel was predominately filled with German visitors but we had no issue as some people have mentioned, everything was translated into English and we had and saw no issues with service. The hotel is ideally placed for access to restaurants and bars, a short work to a lovely beach and the main shopping area, all on the level. I haven’t mentioned any particular staff as all staff we encountered went above and beyond making our stay the holiday we wanted. We would return and wanted to stay longer.
Great hotel. Stayed here for 7 nights all incluisev, Drinks great, food great, room great, entertainment good, cleanliness great, location great. Few things that would make the stay a little better, kettle and DVD in rooms for colder days and evenings, safe should be free for a 4 star hotel like most 4 star hotels which are free of charge. Overall fantastic hotel.
Hi visited cala millor garden spa 28 th september for the first time myself and my partner could not fault the hotel in respect of comfort and cleanliness . Nice little touches . Didnt rate the food but always managed to get something to eat . Lovely staff who seemed very friendly just felt this hotel was more german than english and felt this in our stay . The staff seemed to lean more to the germans than anyone else especially when you was sat waiting for a drink . Will not be returning .
For a four star hotel me & the wife were a bit disappointed with the hotel The staff were very helpful & friendly the drinks were nice the springs in the bed was worn so we didn't sleep to well the fridge wasn't cold the rooms were lovely great bathroom our major gripe was the meals there was just not enough variety same meals for lunch as well as dinner the entrainment staff did their best .The night entertainment was lousy my opinion too many quizzes
