The hotel is very nice. Its not modern, but quite decent. We would give 3 stars. Restaurant: has very various food, and it lived up to our expectations. We were very happy about gluten-free offer. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially thank to Chef Juanma and Mr Pedro. Many dishes are labeled with QR code, so you can check up allergens. The room: bedroom has 2 beds (comfortable), and living room has L-type sofa for two persons. Please, notice, that person who sleeps on the sofa should be no taller than 155 cm (look at pictures). The sofa is simply very short. Location: to the beach its 12 minutes on foot, you can also take a hotel mini bus (free of charge). There is a forest path, but if you have small kids, we do not recommend it. You can also take a 15/20 minutes walk to the harbour, which is very nice. Entertainment: was really good, everybody can find something for himself (archery, dart, evening shows etc). Bars: there are two bars - one is opened 10-18, second opened 18-24. There are usually queues. The second bar has no air conditioning or even a fan, so its really hard to stay in 10 people queue. Because people order drinks, beers etc, this queue goes really slowly. The first bar offers gluten free snacks. Pools: although its forbidden, people reserve best located sun loungers with towels, so at 9:30 you can still find some, but not close to the pool. We had very nice holiday there.
Very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff ! We had studio room with view tothe pool and it was really very nice and quite. We really enjoyed the food in this hotel ! I use to travel 3-4 times per year and I have visited lot of hotels, but the food in Green Garden was the best. Very varied and tasty menu every day. We liked the table with startes :-) Lots of fresh fruits all day long. Just see my photos. We liked also animation team and evening programs. Hotel Green Garden is very close to Cala Agulla beach. You can use hotel bus for free as transfer, but it is easy to walk through the small wood (10 min). You can also visit another 2 beaches in Cala Rajada (Son Moll and Cala Gut). The room service was absolutely perfect first 3 days, the other 3 days somebody else was cleaning...so we got towels with big holes, but nothing dramatic :-) I definitely recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel. Clean Rooms are good but basic for 3 people. Clean towels every day. Rooms cleaned every day. Need to take own pool towels or hire at just £1.50 a day. Although you can keep them for your stay. We did. Good is good but could do with being slightly warmer. Large choice of salads. Fresh fish and chicken. Breakfast also large choice. Entertainment programme for those interested. Aqua aerobics etc. All in all good value for money.
Fantastic hotel great animation and the photografer Just wow thanks green gardens and magic moments photografy The Kids pool is wonderfull with a pirate ship to keep Kids busy for hours all staff are like family.
I stayed in this Hotel in may/2017. I found the accommodation just average, bed is comfortable, shower ok. Fridge was never cold and it was dripping all over the floor, had to be replaced. The worse part is the buffet. The key for breakfast is huge, only one person cooking for 300 people. The lunch/dinner buffet is very poor, with the worse quality of food, everyday is the same food. If you liked this hotel, go self-catering. Food is horrible and isn't expensive to eat outside. Staffs are not really helpful, they don't have any knowledge about the area, they can't recommend anything close by, apart of Juan, who was very helpful. I booked an apartment for 4 people, i was accommodated in a small studio and had to pay extra €55 to be relocated in the accommodation I had paid for. Accommodation ok, staffs ok, food really bad.
Really nice hotel, rooms are clean and tidy. Great food. Will be back. Angela from reception very helpful and friendly. Pool- shame that people were booking sunbeds and were not using it for hours, therefore was difficult for us to have some rest by the pool after coming back from beach
First off, the hotell was generally nice, very clean, helpfull and smiling staff. But the room we got faced towards a road, and the noise from it was terrible. Very heavy traffic. We tried to switch rooms, but the reception said they were fully booked. It was also very loud between rooms, we could here everything our neighbours said.. The normal doubleroom was also on the small side, and the beds were so hard that my back is sore from the stay. The pool area was fantastic, with 3 areas for the pools. And the middle one wich has a long slope towards the deep end was fantastic for my children to practice their swimming. Unfortunately it was very crowded. And the sun beds were all taken. The towel practice on this hotel is the worst ive ever come by. People reserving 90% of the beds all day, and they show up sometimes at 11 and stay for a few hours before leaving again. This is something the hotel should be much stricter about! The buffee was below average. Breakfast was boring, poor bacon, eggs, sausages, scrambled eggs and pancakes. Lunch and dinner was okay. But the dining area was way too crowded! I was completely unable to enjoy eating there with all the noise and the shuffling to get somewhere. The entertainment for kids was very good, and the minidisco show was the best my kids have been too. We dont speak dutch/german but that was okay. The playground was outdated and not really fun for the kids. The playhouse was always locked, and only open a few times a day for some organised activites. Which also was in languages we couldn't understand. I expected one of the nordic languages since this was a Ving recommened hotel(don't blame this on the hotel though) One thing to beware of in the pool, two of my kids got bad sores on their toes from bathing there. When I asked the lifeguard, he said all the kids got them there. So use some sort of bathing shoes, to prevent sores and possible infections! Pool bar was okay, but really long queues, why not let all inclusive quests help themselves to soda/ice/beer? I have seen this in other hotels on Mallorca for families. Also we had booked an infant bed in advance, confirmed with the hotel, but we still didn't get it before the 2nd day.
Hotel is very nice and clean in general, pools very nice especially for kids, service very good and all staff very kind and helpful. They can prepare special meals upon request ( important for allergies and special diets!!!!). The only disadvantage of this place is the entertainment section which is mostly only in German although the entertainment stagf is multinational...very sad. For people who cannot speak this language there is no alternatives and they cannot participate in the events. Definitely would not come back here.
for my boyfriend and myself it was our first holiday together so when we was asked to do a (free no obligation to buy ) Photo shoot by the creative studio staff at the hotel we accepted expecting just half hour and a couple of half decent photos however we were very surprised by the photographer we made us feel so at ease and i must say he was amazing the 2 members of staff (one i understand is the supervisor) who was with him were also so friendly and funny they all had so much energy and wanted the shoot to be fun for us both which i must say was very entertaining :) after the shoot we was invited back later to look at the photos when we went to view them we was totally blown away that we could not resist buying them all as we could not decide what ones we liked better this has totally made our holiday so much more special now and we have amazing photos to look back at in years to come The hotel was stunning so it was lovely having photos done on the grounds aswell as the beach Marissa ,Martinez Jnr and Ana thank you so much for what you done we now have lovely memories of our first holiday I would recommend the hotel and i would defiantly recommend the photoshoot
We are 36 year old adults with two children (ages 2 and 4). We selected this place because it was marketed as family friendly. While there are a couple of fun kid things (an awesome pirate ship pool, a mediocre playground, and a fun kids disco show after dinner) they are overshadowed by all the drunken party-ers who scream, slam doors and have no concern for other guests at 3 IN THE MORNING. On top of this, the beds are hideous. My husband and I can feel the springs through the mattress and wake up with sore necks/backs every morning. Due to paper thin walls We can hear every sound our neighbors make, next door and above us. Our room has a lovely balcony view of the street. (And therefore we get to hear loud engines and horns honking through the night). The food is mediocre at best, as are the drinks. Even though it's all inclusive, the bars (2) and cafeteria are only open at certain times. Not always convenient times for us. We love this part of Mallorca and would definitely return, but NOT to this hotel. The staff has been very kind and courteous but this is the first vacation we've ever been on where we can't wait to get back home. Spend the extra money on the hotels with higher ratings!!!
