These self catering apts, are very spacious and clean but bit dated. We had a huge balcony and could see the sea which was great, the pool bar was a nice place to chill in eves, good prices all reasonable, pool was nice bit of struggle getting sunbed someday but always chairs and umbrellas by pool bar free so not a problem. Table tennis for children to play and beach right across the road. Perfect location at quiet end of Palma Nova easy flat walk along the strip of shops and bars and restaurants, we walked to Megalluf a couple times visited Katmandu house and went Parasailing. There's plenty to do. We stayed in these apts during August on bed and breakfast basis which was good, usual cooked breakfast as well as croissants, cereals fruit etc. Staff all very nice to.
Upon check in David was very pleasant and welcoming, he managed to get us a ground floor apartment (No.18) as I wasn't keen about having an apartment high up due to my little one, the lobby of the hotel is beautiful and there is plenty of information about local attractions, when we got to our apartment it is very basic, the patio doors were a struggle to close once open and the glass is a very thin sheet (not child friendly) the beds were comfy (need an extra pillow) as there is only 1 pillow per person and they are very thin, they are abit dated but still had a comfortable stay, on check out one of the house keeping staff even gave our son a lollipop, David checked us out and offered us a taxi if we needed it All in all it was okay and we would return if we ever stopped in Palmanova again
I stayed there with my family in early September. This hotel needs to be shut down. Some serious renovation is needed. When we got to our apartment, there was a colony of ants in the living room. The floor was covered in sand. On further inspection, the rooms were dirty, bug spray in the kitchen (meaning they have a bug problem), the balcony door wouldn't shut properly, the air conditioning unit was filthy with grime, the bathroom ceiling was mouldy, the cupboards in the bedroom were full of dust, the living room smelt like urine. Luckily my father was travelling with us and was able to help us move hotel after a few days. We are a family of five and had been saving up for 1.5 years, so this was very disappointing. I know its only a 3 star, but I have worked in the travel business for over 6 years, and can assure you that this hotel is not even a 3 star. I also grew up in Mallorca, and I know that if make sure you clean your house regularly then ants and bugs are not a problem. My advice is: Don´t stay there!
Apartment was very quite. They were very clean and a excellent location .David at reception was very helpful. I would use this Apartment again. Very relaxing and near the beach.plenty of good places to eat near apartments.
Where do I start?! Upon arrival the hotel reception looks really nice, David checked us in and was lovely. We even had a free bottle of wine. We had 6 room bookings as there were 18 of us and despite arriving very early we were kindly given 2 sets of keys for rooms 008 and 005. That's where The problems started. Room 005 was disgusting and the people that had that room requested to be moved, which they were. I was in room 008 and it seemed ok, very dated but the door to get in and patio doors were difficult to use, key was temperamental and the patio doors difficult to open because of the lock. The bathroom and kitchen weren't at all up to 3 star standard. After freshening up we all headed down to the pool and had a great afternoon before going out in the evening. However, upon waking up in room 008 it became clear that we had been burgled over night - when we were ASLEEP! There were four of us in that room, each of us had phones, money, passports and bags stolen. My one friends wedding ring was also stolen. The hotel believe that the intruder got through the patio door but because of the 'standard' of the hotel we know that wasn't possible (because it was difficult to even open it) AND because the balcony was at least ten feet high. So from there our stay was ruined. Everyone was distraught, four of us spent our Saturday at the police station while the others had to continue with the holiday without us. The police refused to come to the hotel but when we went to the station they said they called the hotel to arrange a look around and take fingerprints. Despite that, the room was occupied the next day. I know this because I spotted towels hanging over the balcony and it was clear that children were in that room. I can only imagine that the hotel reception had kept that information from the new occupants. I find it disgusting that they even had the nerve to put other guests in that position. The second room we were in was not much better, still not up to standard. Broken chairs, disgusting cushions and mouldy bathroom and kitchen. In fact, all of the rooms were like this. I don't really have much more to say about this hotel other than it is in desperate need of refurbishment. We are all still terribly upset about what happened but also grateful that none of us were hurt. I would strongly suggest that anyone reading this review spends more money and goes somewhere half decent. This hotel is unsafe and despite the lovely staff I would go as far to say that there is a lack of loyalty to their guests, if you get what I mean. Unfortunately, because of these events my much awaited hen weekend will only be remembered by the bad points of this poor excuse of a hotel.
I'm just back from 3 nights at this hotel with a group of friends on a Hen weekend. It's run down. There were ants all over our kitchen. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable. Also we have all been bitten so much that we are in a lot of pain. What's worse though is that on our first night one of our rooms was broken in to. Phones, money, a wedding ring and passports all taken while my friends slept. It was awful and very traumatic and the hotel offered very little in support or sympathy. They didn't rush to put my friends in a new room either. They really were no help at all. I'm gutted that my friends special weekend was ruined.
Hotel is run down, beyond the point where it is worth doing up. Very expensive for what it is. Stayed here with my family and in hindsight should have gone somewhere else, or really just booked earlier. However, if I was away with the boys it would have been fine. All that being said, the pool wasn't bad, and the location is good. Depacito played over and over drove me a bit crazy but that's Spain in general at the moment 😉
Great location in Palma Nova, walk across the road to the beach, apartment pool great very clean and tidy. Hotel staff excellent. We went Bed and Breakfast which was good, a great choice to choose from.
We've holidayed as a family for the last 19 years, this is without a doubt the worst place we've ever stayed! It was an ant infested room, so dirty and dated! Dates we could cope with but honestly hostels are better. The views and the staff literally are the only positives! Especially David but also a lovely man( sorry didn't get his name) checked us out Friday 1st sept on his night shift. People are saying you get what you pay for? I think £1000 for 6 nights for 2 adults and a child is enough to justify a decent clean room!
Fantastic place. Great location next to the beach. Some of the restaurants along the beach are expensive as usual. But I found the smaller places had better nicer food with lower prices. Hotel is a bit outdated but staff are fab and it's very clean. All rooms have air con and great for kids. My 9 and 4 year old loved it and so did we. Would definatley go back
