I have been visiting Maldives for the past four years and your Property made me fall in love with Maldives and wish to live here. You are Amazing in all Aspects with no drawbacks , Excellent Service, food quality is extraordinary and people are nice from coming until leaving. Well Done
My trip was in August 2017, but even now I feel like writing the review. From the moment we arrived at Male airport, the staff greeted us with a big smile. Courteous and professional with their interaction and treatment, it was most endearing and welcoming. We arrived prior to check in time. I was traveling with kids and seniors. I was worried they would be exhausted without a room to rest in, but the management was very understanding and made preparations to check in as soon as possible. Going forward everything was perfect, rooms, staff, facilities, food etc. We booked a two bedroom & a one bedroom beach villas with pool. The rooms were clean & tidy, elegant, spacious, and comfortable. The private villa pool was bigger than most Ive seen. Regarding the outdoor bathroom, my wife was not very fond of it though as she is extremely scared of bugs, but on the contrary I loved it. The facilities were excellent, from the kids centre, to the pools and restaurants. The food was delicious, a lot of varieties through out the week on the buffet menu. Overall, it was everything I hoped for and wanted. Relaxing and soothing. Every single moment was enjoyable. Thanks to Jumeirah Vittaveli management and team for their hospitality and services.
The hospitality of the entire staff is unbelievably amazing. Since the arriving and departure the smile and the care is always one step ahead. The breakfast veraity is fenominal, from a continental breakfast, to the 5 content from Asia to Europe to the America. The sunrise beach villa gave a beautiful sunrise view and the coral snorkel in that area was the best around the island. Loads of beautiful things to see (red octopus, turtles, parrot fish, ect) which made diving not a necessary. The French restaurant is the touch of the island fine dinning restaurant experience, from welcoming to tasting the food and finishing with sunset drink. The Indian fine dinning restaurant experience, you will want to avoid. A seven course menu sounds interesting with an add of a French touch. However, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone as both(Indian +French) doesn’t mix and specially if they were hungry. As the 7 course includes only one peace of some food until the main course. Even with the main course, which included one chicken drumsticks with a curry around was a surprise. For 250$ per person, I was expected an amazing experience, specially when you come from a place that Indian food taste is part of the culture. Unlimited free drinks with the course can be a trap to get you there. So do look at the menu even with the drinks before booking to go there. If your trying to dive, the dive Center will only recommend you first the expensive private experience, the last day we discovered that you can dive with a group or on a better price. So do ask or else you will end up hearing 1,000$ for an hour boat hire as the booklet doesn’t include the prices in it. A great overall one time experience.

From the arrival in the airport, you are already pampered. While waiting for other guests, we got to stay in the hotel's airport lounge for a bit. Then, we had a short boat ride to the hotel, and upon arriving, they welcomed us with a drink and a necklace. Each room has a personal butler; our butler was called Yousuf; a really nice guy. After a short tour of the resort, Yousuf checked us in inside the room (no need to go to a lobby, how wonderful!). And to our surprise, we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom beach villa with pool sunrise. The room was way too big for just the two of us; and each villa feels very secluded. You really feel like you're the only people in the resort. From having your own lap pool then with your own beach access, it's truly paradise! Breakfast was amazing; the servers remember your preferences and the food is great. We also dined at Mu Beach Bar and Grill as well as the Samsara BBQ buffet. We also had room dine-in service for one night. Overall, food in the resort is very very good but obviously pricey. The B4R bar was also nice; we usually go here during sundown for some happy hour drinks. The resort also provided free snorkeling gear and had a fish/ stingray feeding every afternoon. Talise Spa was amazing as well; we booked a couples' massage and the therapists were really good. It's definitely a rare treat and I'm glad we booked it. Aside from the beautiful, secluded resort, the staff was simply amazing. Everyone is just really, really nice with a smile on their faces always. When we left, a handful of them (even our butler) waved goodbye from the jetty and my heart sank. It really feels like I left home. They say that in Maldives, the choice of the resort really matters. Vittaveli is definitely a really, really good choice; I'm glad we had a chance to stay here.
The Jumeriah Vittavelli is one of the most remarkable places I have visited and we comeback here time and time again. It just gets better. The location is only 30 minutes by speed boat from Male which is absolutely perfect after a long flight. On arrival at the Island you are met by all the staff and shown to your villas which are again fantastic whether its a beach villa or water villa. I have stayed in both and would recommend the sunset beach villas if you have kids. The kids club is great and my kids look forward to coming back here and enjoy all the entertainment. There is always something going on and the staff are the real Gem. There are no shortage of great restaurants and you are looked after wherever you go. The Spa is also a must. All in all this place is wonderful and all the staff are remarkable and make this a totally unique destination. Thankyou and we cant wait to comeback.
We’ve stayed at JV for 5 days with my 18 month old son and 8 month pregnant wife. From the moment we arrived nothing was short of exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, our expectations were totally exceeded. We have stayed in the Maldives more than 6 times and I have to say that JV is by far the best resort we’ve stayed at. We arrived early (10Am) because we had a bad experience at another resort and wanted to leave early, and the manager Souvrav immediately saw that we got into our room as soon as possible, and even upgraded us to a 2 Bedroom villa, which was absolutely amazing. It was great for our very active son to have our own pool and such a spacious villa for him to roam around in! We got the half board option which was fantastic, the food was delicious and there was tons of variety and the staff (particularly Maanoj) were very sweet and accommodating with our busy toddler. We ate in the samsara restaurant for all the meals as it was just so easy with our son that we didn’t feel the need to do the fine dining. One thing we did like is that there isn’t a bill/receipt getting pushed in front of you, you simply eat and leave another plus point of a very professional operation. We put our son into the kids club each morning, usually it can take him some time to adjust to new people and surroundings, but Shaama the babysitter made him feel so comfortable and he really took a shining to her. The kids club is great and there is tons for them to do! Gym is well appointed with good machines although shoulder press machine would be good;) Well done Jumeriah group great product delivery with a personalized service. We don’t want to leave!
We have just come to the end of a fantastic family holiday at Jumeirah Vittaveli. Our beach front villa with pool is unbelievable with great views out across the ocean. The staff have been fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, especially the housekeeping staff who have done an amazing job looking after us and our boys for 10 days. It really has been the holiday of a lifetime.
We stayed here for 4 nights and from the minute we got to the resort the service was amazing. Staff everywhere knew who we were and that we had just checked in (without even asking for our room number!). We are completely vegetarian and also I was 3 months pregnant and foods been difficult for me off late but Chefs Kaushik and Pradeep went out of their way to make me comfortable, they were willing to make anything I asked for without prior notice. Roshan at the pool bar was great too in making sure he got me an array of mocktails and coconut water! Tess at Fenesse Restaurant was amazing too, she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed the food. Yani and Anna at the spa were amazing too. All round, brilliant resort, impeccable service from beginning to end, couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and amazing holiday!
Me and my wife traveled in April 2018. We went as a couple and my wife was 3 months pregnant. The trip started the wrong way by making us wait in the lounge (at airport) for over 30 mins, waiting for another couple, which never showed up. But they gave us refreshments air condition and wifi. Nevertheless after travelling for so many hours, this is the last thing we want. But from the moment we checked in everything was spectacular, we got an early check in to our room by 10:30 am. We started with dive center, we did the turtle exploration and snorkelling exploration. All the guides and staff were extremely helpful and polite. Great experience. The staff all over the hotel from housekeeping, to buggee drivers, to waiters to chefs, were very polite and helpful. Special mentions to Roshan (At the Pool Bar), Chef Kaushik (Breakfast restaurant chef), Chef Pradeep (Mu Bar and Grill), Issam (Guest Relatiuons Officer), Saif (Spa) and Tess (Fenesse Dining). With regards to food all the chefs and restaurants were willing to cater to all our dietary needs and make something off menu. All in all great experience would recommend everyone to look no further and STAY HERE ONLY.
