We stayed for 3 nights in peak season in July for £146, I personally thought this was great value for a clean, well equipped room in Paris. We liked staying away from the buzz as it meant we were able to have some peace from the crowds and a decent night sleep. We used the metro as the nearest station is 12-15 min walk away and on that line there are stops that will drop you near the eiffel tower, champs elysses and sacre coeur. The receptionist was very good and helped us plan our sightseeing. If I was travelling to Paris again would definitely use this hotel.
I stayed here in this little hotel, As I made a surprise visit to see my French cousin play in his band in a busy little pub restaurant. I tried hard to find somewhere near to stay & I really made a good choice. This hotel/apartment blocks are very clean & there is a cooking/kitchen area which was a pleasant surprise Also the lady on reception was friendly & helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough Amazing value.
Stayed here for 2 months... Overall liked the hotel and the facilities provided... The rooms were cozy and spacious for one person but 2 persons can also manage comfortably. Some problems I faced were with regards to Wifi issue (it wasn't solved completely even after 5-6 weeks of constant assurances and got annoying towards the end); the hot water (it can go off around 1130 am in the morning); the room cleaning (there wasn't a fixed date and time when they would come in). Another big issue is the TVs won't show English channels except 1 or 2: luckily, some English TV serials aren't dubbed in French but just has French subtitles. Otherwise the receptionists speak English, French pretty well and some other European languages also... Thanks to Jasmine and Stephanie (the receptionists)...They assisted us very well...
Decent place to live in Nearby markets on Wednesday and Sunday Nearby Laundry and ATM Good restaurants nearby 5-10 mins walk to the Metro station : Malakoff train station and 15mins walk to the last metro station on M13
Nice place. Helpful staff convenient location. Checked in at 1 in the night, they were able to guide me through the entire procedure over the phone. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious room. The bathroom was a bit too cramped up.
Spotless apartment. Good shower and also a bath. Slept soundly with no noise from other apartments. Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing value. The metro was only a five minute walk and from there only thirty minutes into the centre of Paris. Malakoff had a nice busy community feel to it with many cafes and restaurants to choose from.
We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is okay its not the best but its okay if you dont have kids with you. It's quite far away from city central but you still have access to trains and buses going to central paris. Outside the hotel there's a off-licences store we dont have to go far if we need something to eat. The staffs are friendly and very welcoming. The room has mini fridge. Kettle and stoves if you want to cook. The only problem I experience is the wifi connection. You can only access wifi for couple of hours. Overall rating is good
Stayed here from Friday 10th until Monday 14th - took a while to get there from Gare du Nord (best way is actually to go directly to Marie de Montreuil and a 15/20 minute direct walk from there). Nice room and very clean but we were disappointed to have no room service - surely the norm in a 'hotel'. Bedside lamp didn't work even though I reported it twice. Breakfast O.K. nothing special. Enjoyed an evening with jazz at a local brasserie (The New Mail). Receptionists at the hotel were very nice and helpful. A good deal from The Guardian - not such a good deal if you paid the advertised prices.
Rooms are nice, beds are good. Staff is very unpolite and they even got mad for us because we didn't remember the keycode to the main door, which we even wouldn't have needed, if the girl at the reception would not have closed the door too early that night. Wifi doesn't connect most of the time and the staff knows that, but they don't do anything about it so if you need wifi, don't go there. There's not even a hairdryer. Very far away from all the subways, but the bus stop is near. I would not go again, service really sucks even though the rooms are good.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were so polite. In the rooms you have a basic kitchen set up which is so handy was there is a supermarket 5 min walk way! The bathroom was a descent size too! I would recommend anyone to stay here ! It also a short walk from the metro into central paris!
