The room was too small, nothing to do with the photo and the breakfast, 13 euro and the eggs were overdone and left for hours, I will never spend a night there again, a 4 star hotel that should be only 2
Spend a weekend here with my wife. We really liked the hotel and its location. The best part was the rooftop bar/pool area - really nice. Clean room with a nice bathroom (Superior) We will definitely come back.
Walking distance from bus and train station for ease of arrival. Taxi and bike hire rank right outside and only 5 minutes walk from the start of the 'old town'. So location was ideal. We had a room on the 4th floor, which offered good views over roof tops to the hills beyond. easy to walk up to the gym and then up to the pool area with terrace bar. Water was cold in November, but good views over the city and plenty of space. The room was not large, but was adequate, although dark. Down sides were chairs uncomfortable, window was broken, bed was hard, pillows were awful, shower was over bath. Most upsetting, the lighting in the room was terrible and the extractor in bathroom was broken. Not a room to sit in or rest in during the day. The staff though were excellent, very helpful, very available and answered all the questions we had to our complete satisfaction. Food at breakfast was very good. Would we stay there again most definitely.
We were on holiday in Spain for a week, and decided to spend ur last day and night in Malaga. Stayed at Salles Hotel Malaga Centro. Very comfortable and central hotel. Had lunch on the rooftop bar and it was excellent quality and value for money. very good hotel, bets recommendation is we would definitely go back there
Short distance to the old city and all their attraction. Room space, excellent mattress, but the sausage pillow is a BIG NO. Can't understand that so many Spanish hotels like this type if pillow. Most of the time it's a neck breaker and impossible to adjust. AC not adjustable. Fridge. Fast free WiFi. Very good breakfast if you are not unlucky to fight with two busloads of tourista at the same time. Nice rooftop bar
We stayed here for one night only. What we liked most of all, was the location. Just across the river, from the centre of Malaga & all it has to offer. Our room was nice enough, with great views. In one direction, across the rooftops toward the cathedral. The other direction, gave river & mountain views. Breakfast was buffet style, with both hot & cold food on offer & was very nice. The bathroom was a little dated, but didn't detract from our stay. The reception, restaurant & bar areas, were all very nice. Not forgetting the rooftop pool & bar, that unfortunately we didn't get to use due to the rain. So, if your looking for a not too expensive pleasant hotel, with a great location, try this one.
Spent 4 days at the Salles Hotel in Malaga highly recommend it. Lovely twin room, breakfast varied and tasty. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Malaga old town is beautiful with interesting architecture. Many good cafes and restaurants. Went to one of the beaches had fresh barbecued sardines and chilled white wine perfect!
Just back from 4 night stay - excellent start to end. It started with me leaving bag on airport to Malaga bus and hotel tracing and getting it back for me within an hour and the staff continued to be warm and friendly all the time. The roof bar and pool are excellent, small but a great view and we were there most days and ate lunch there two or three times - which was very good and drinks and food reasonably priced. The location meant easy walk to all attractions and the beach - just great and already thinking about going back!
This hotel is in easy walking distance of the center of Malaga, where the shops restaurants and museums, my room was small, whilst the bathroom was a good size. There was no chair or stool to sit on , there was a fridge and a safe. You can pre pay 10 € for breakfast, if not it is 13€ which is strange.the breakfast was a buffet.
This hotel is absolutely ideal for couples wanting to stay in the centre of Malaga. My partner and I booked this hotel under the impression that it was very modern and well kept, and that is exactly what it was. The rooftop bar was lovely and overlooked the whole of Malaga towards the castle, and the drinks that were made were very tasty and full of alcohol (not watered down at all). The rooftop pool was more of a plunge pool, however considering this was a hotel mostly for adults this was perfect. The hotel itself was well positioned, being a short 2 minute walk (if that!) from the old town which was full of bars and restaurants, and a 10 minute walk from Malaga castle. The beach was a little further to walk, around 20 minutes however this wasn't a problem as it was very easy to find with lots of shops and bars on the way. The rooms were kept very clean and were very modern, our bathroom and bedroom each had buttons on the wall that dimmed the lighting and turned the radio on (I had a lovely relaxing bath one evening before heading out for dinner!). The staff were also brilliant, my partner and I were looking to take part on an excursion and the staff immediately recommended a trip over to Tangier in Morocco. We were obviously excited at the thought and agreed to the trip, and we were booked on straight away for the following day. The trip was absolutely fantastic and we can only thank the staff for recommending it to us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at Salles Hotel Malaga Centro and I would highly recommend this hotel for adults and couples.
