The room was great. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. Depending on your booking package breakfast can be included or you can purchase it for 7 Euros. The hotel is minutes from the beach and is within walking distance of the best areas to explore Torremolinos nightlife and restaurants. I couldn't have asked for more. Can't wait to return next year.
This is my second stay here. It is even better than before with new improved interior decor in the rooms. Perfect location, right across from the beach and at the end of the beautiful winding Spanish shopping street. Very friendly and welcoming staff. A good breakfast is served in the restaurant downstairs. This caters also for those guests staying next door at the co-owned Hostal Beatriz. I bought my partner this time. He's very fussy. Success, he loved it as well. We'll definitely book here again if we return. I feel sorry from the people staying in one of the large character-less high-rise hotels. We saw a few envious people looking up as we sat drinking a bottle of wine in the charming roof garden overlooking the sea. Blissful.
we stayed 2 nights in hostal Guadalupe in Torremolinos and for us it was a perfect stayover.very cozy and welcoming.nice rooms with vieuw over the beach but quiet at the same time.breakfast simple but complete.clean.friendly staff and owner. we will go back here without a doubt.
Excellent location, excellent service, everyone was friendly and helpful. Pedro couldn't do enough for us to ensure that we felt at home and had all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was perfect and dinner in the Restaurant was spot on. Great value for money. Thank you so much, we will be back
We are only here for one night after dropping a friend at the airport. What a lovely, friendly hostel. The food is excellent. The room is roomy with a double bed and a single bed. The room has a fridge, safe, tea and coffee making facilities. Everything you could ask for. Would definitely stay here again.
I really enjoyed my stay at Hostal Guadalupe. The location is perfect for beach, beach walk and most shopping. The staff is very nice and helpful. I felt very welcome! The breakfast is good, you can find anything you want between eggs and gummy bears! :) The room I had was basic, but clean and comfortable. Very positive with fridge and safety box. And I loooved my little balcony. The only downside was the paper walls. So if you are a light sleeper maybe you should bring earplugs! :) If going back to Torremolinos I will consider booking Guadalupe again, but next time I'll try to book a room with terrace! Thanks for making my stay a positive experience!
Booked this small hotel for an 8 nights break with my wife in April 2017. Excellent staff. Very clean, with room staff every day. Good free wi-fi. Pedro was excellent as were all the other staff. Super coffee at breakfast. Very highly recommended. Will definitely return. This is classed as a hostel, but is better than most hotels in Spain. Great location on the beach and only 100 metres from the lift to the town centre. Definitely a great place to stay. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.
This was our second time at the guadalupe hostal and for the second time it did not disappoint, the place is kept very clean and pedro and his staff cant do enough for you any little problems are sorted out very quickly, the breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of food on offer, hot and cold, juices and fruit etc it is an excellent start to the day. We had a very large room to the front of the hostal with a very large balcony which was excellent for people watching, they also do very good lunch and evening meals for a very reasonable price which is unusual for a hostal I can highly recommend this place
My family and I chose this place based on trip advisor and everything we read was true. The hotel staff were super nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. You will not go wrong if you choose this place.
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Guadalupe. Last year we had a room at the back of the Beatriz but this year we were able to get a superior room in the Guadalupe overlooking the sea. The room was bright and airy with a decent sized balcony and was very clean. I can only echo what other reviewers say about the Hostal, its quirkiness, originality and the friendliness of Pedro and his staff. While we were there, we took a trip to Malaga on the train. We visited the famous produce market, the Mercado de Atarazanas. The building is stunning and the fish, meat, vegetables and dried fruits etc are so fresh that its small wonder locals come from miles around to shop there. Close to the market is the Antiqua Casa de la Guardia which is a really old sherry bar on the Alameda Principal; the sherry is stored in kegs, you choose which one you want and the price is chalked on the bar and wiped off when you've paid. There's also a chap selling plates of shellfish. Try the conchas finas, large clams fresh from the sea with just a squeeze of lemon juice. Excellent!
