Stayed here in July 2017 with three other adults had a 2 bedroom villa. It was clean and had a lovely terrace and access to the garden below. The villa was well stocked with cooking equipment and cookery as well as a BBQ. Access to two pools and in a good location for nerja nightlife. One downside was our villa did not have wi-fi it depends on where you are placed as to whether your accommodation will have it.

The apartment complex is really beautiful, with flowers all around, and is really in a great spot (especially if you have a car) . There are a few very nice pools with bars (but they charge 3 euros for a sunchair per day) if you want a break from going to the beach. But, anyways, the beach is not that far...5 minutes by car or about a 15/20 minute walk (watch out because the way back is uphill). The beaches nearby are lovely though, especially if you go farther east. The apartment itself is fine, i say fine because it was a bit outdated inside (the furniture and the kitchen) but it was ok for a few nights. It was nice to have a little patio/garden area to relax in. TV stations were good and theres even a nice bar on the premices. Overall a great place to stay in order to visit the area! We loved Nerja! There are so many restaurants, bars, shops in the center. It can get crowded, but its still very nice. Thanks for the great stay!

Firstly the points that may put you off. Very hilly with lots of steps and narrow alleyways. No air- con just fans provided. Perhaps some of the more expensive villas have air-con but not sure. We arrived late at night with a number to call on the noticeboard at reception for someone to come and show us to our villa. All quite organised but when we were shown into our place we knew it was the wrong property. The lady who showed us to our room said at reception tomorrow questions will be answered. Next morning we said we were not happy with the room after a very uncomfortable night I might add. The manager said straight away that we were given the wrong rooms and that where we should be was being cleaned out and to come back after 12 am. Well we were moved eventually but actually who messed up the booking? We should not have been just put into a very small uncomfortable room for the first night. Obviously double booked somewhere along the line. After lugging the cases again up and down hills, steps and lanes we were in and very happy with the property. Let's get onto the positives. Nice clean villa with a lovely view. Small garden with two sunbeds and a patio seating area to eat. Plenty of self catering facilities and a mini market onsite but a big supermarket a few minutes walk. Bear in mind you have to carry all your groceries and water up hills and steps in the heat. We were all ok with that though but some may struggle. Nice little pool area and a little bar with snacks. Cocktails/ice creams ect. Sunbeds are 3 Euros per day and reception should issue a pool pass apparently although we never got one and just paid for beds when we got there. I did overhear on a couple of days that they had run out of sunbeds. We always got one though and found all the staff around the pool and in the bar very helpful and polite. There do seem to be rules for the pool regarding children but not having kids with us never noticed anything going on but I do think they seem quite strict with certain things. There are signs up as well but didn't really take much notice as always sat in the grass area away from the pool under the trees for shade. We were very happy with the pool area although small. No umbrellas but they do put the beds wherever you want them when you pay. There is a little restaurant on site but never ate there although it looked ok. There is a hotel off the big (tennis) roundabout in front of the complex where you can get a cooked breakfast but they don't serve cooked food on the evening until later on about 7? Better off going down by the beach to eat on the evening. I can recommend the tennis club on the same roundabout for food. Seems like they serve most of the day and although the place looks a little rough and ready we were very impressed with the food. El Capistrano Village is a well kept complex and clean with lovely floral scents everywhere form the jasmine. Very quaint old Spanish looking and pretty. You can walk to the beach and little strip area where there are some shops and bars. Just keep walking straight down in front of the complex. Very nice area to mooch in the evening by the beach but unless you are very fit you will need a taxi back up the hill as it is very steep! Where you drink or eat will always call you and cab and beware they are quick and you have to be where they say you should be for pick up as they don't wait. Taxi to Frigliana was about 12 -15 Euros each way. There is a bus I believe and there is a little information office up at reception for details on travel. Worth a visit though and stop off in main Nerja town on the way back. Both lovely places. I would stay here again although air con is a bit of a problem. Enjoyed our stay very much after a bit of a rocky start.

The site was hilly, but had nice views. We were on Oasis and there are 5 different 'villages'. Oasis had a nice feel to it, most of the apartments are owner owned and many people are there for several months. We were in 17c and the apartment was right next to the smaller quiet pool which was great, however, it did not have air conditioning and this was an issue in July. There was no bar or restaurant on site in the evening which was a shame and the nearest one was a hotel with little atmosphere. You could walk into town...but it was a 30 min walk there and an up hill walk back of a little longer. The walk to the beach was fairly hard on a path with a steep steps at the end..but only 10 mins there. Need a car really. Good for a relaxing holiday.

El Capistrano Village is a beautiful location with film set "streets". At night the perfumed odour from flowers was breathtaking. Our upper level apartment had striking views of the sea. The poolside restaurant staff were top notch delivering quality service with great food at reasonable prices. Well done guys.!! A good well stocked mini market is also available within the complex. The downside to the complex is the amount of hills and steps within it . This was truly a physical workout every day, and that's was just to go to the pool ! If you have a buggy then try fit it with a motor. Also make sure you do not forget your room key or sunscreen as a return journey will leave you exhausted! There are two extremely well stock major supermarkets close to El Capistrano Village only 6 mins downhill but a lot more time uphill in 30 degrees. YOU NEED A CAR. BIG TIME. Taxi into Nerja town cost approx €7.50 one way. As for the pool - don't bring the kids. We all want a bit or order at the pool area, however the rigidly enforced rules and regulations by gruff and rude staff leave a lot to be desired. A day learning about CUSTOMER RELATIONS would not go amiss on these individuals. We lost count of the amount of daily admonishments of guests who either took a ball into the pool or who's child jumped in. A dad with his young child on his shoulders was also cautioned. Don't put you towels out early either- we witnessed a family's possessions being unceremoniously gathered and flung into a ball to the side of the pool by one of the security personnel. This security individual later presented this family with a piece of paper, in front of the entire pool community listing "pool rules " Uncalled for to say the least, especially on holiday. We felt sorry for them as others had "reserved " spaces for longer. Perhaps he was making an example for the rest of us present. You need a valid pool card which you will be expected to produce on each and every visit. Sometimes twice a day. This gets annoying after 9 days with the same lifeguard checking your pool pass each day The pass was valid for months. The benches are chained up until 11 am, then you can rent them for €3 each per day. A total rip off . Don't count on chilling out on your sun lounger in the late evening as these are repossessed at 7pm and chained up again until the next morning so it's back to lying on the ground with your towel. To summaries nice views depending on which apartment you are allocated and a great place if you are training for an Ironman. Restaurant and reception staff excellent, pool and security staff rude and ignorant. Won't be going back - the hills, the steps and we expect to relax on holidays with our children and not be on edge as we try to chill by the pool.

We stayed in Capistrano for 12 days. We had a 3 bedroom with a patio area with barbecue, all very spacious and comfortable Pool was just across the road. Both guys on reception very helpful. Enjoyed and would definitely return😊

Stayed here with my husband and daughter for two weeks. Beautiful place, beautiful view. Have to say accomodation had very little space for hanging clothes, small wardrobe space between three. Disappointed with pools as one had to pay 3 euro each time one took a seat at the pool. What a rip Off! Place was a little too far from beaches, restaurants and entertainment. But last but no least we had horrible disgusting cockroaches in our little villa. This was a nightmare as they appeared at night time. My daughter was petrified. Reported this but my husband sorted it out my stuffing crevices. It took almost our full holiday to get rid of them. Booked holiday through Click and Go but they were most unhelpful and lacking in care when I contacted them.

We stayed for 5 nights in 62B and it was absolutely brilliant. Just like home from home. Comfy beds, a large spacious diner kitchen and a really large balcony. There was garden furniture, two sun loungers and a dining table on the patio with still room for a few plants which were very welcoming. It was lovely to sit there at night with the candles lit. Its a bit hilly and I would say a good 20 minute walk down into town where all the bars and restaurants are but there is a bus to take you or you can easily get a taxi.

Just returned from a most enjoyable Family Holiday of 10 Adults & 4 Children. We were allocated beautiful Accommodation an assortment of 1,2 & 3 Bedrooms Accommodation all with WiFi & Air Conditioning. Love this complex it has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. Kids & Adults love the Pools and Gardens. It has Restaurants, Bars, Shop and Supermarkets just a short distance away. Love the center of Nerja with beautiful Beaches and great selection of Bars & Restaurants. Another most enjoyable stay.

We stayed at the El Capistrano Village (Nicosol S.L) early June. Our 2 bedroom apartment (T6) was fantastic, and really spacious for the 2 adults and 3 children. We had two good sized bedrooms, a large bathroom, separate WC, and large kitchen/living room. We were on the ground floor with a large private garden, with a patio set seating 6. We had views down over Nerja to the Sea. The kitchen was very well equipped including a full size oven and hob, a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Large worktop spaces and everything needed to prepare meals. Satellite TV was provided, which included a very good choice of UK channels as well as channels from other countries. The bathroom was well equipped, with a large corner bath with over shower, and two sinks. There was no air conditioning in the apartment, but celing fans in each of the rooms kept it nice and cool. The village is in a beautiful setting above Nerja, and has three pools, a small supermarket, restaurant and bar. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the two larger supermarkets (Mercadonna and SuperSol). There are a few restaurants within a 10 minute walk, although it is a good 20-30 minutes’ walk into the centre of Nerja or to the Sea. Buses do run during the main season, and were just starting to run during our stay. The pool areas were immaculate, and in a lovely setting. However the pool rules were very restrictive, not allowing inflatables etc. Temperature early June was cool, but still OK for a swim. There was no WiFi in our apartment, but could be accessed in the public areas. This must have been the best apartment we have ever stayed at in Spain. I am not sure if all apartments are to the same high standard, but from the outside they all look nice.
