Good location if you want to take a train to other cities ,clean room. That's about it.Customer service doesn't exist in this hotel.

Reasonably priced and comfortable. The location is 15 min walk from the center and all the restaurants, bars and shopping but it's right next to the train station (this makes up for the first)

The Barcelo Malaga is a beautiful decorated wirh modern furnishings. It's got a really cool slide you can ride down to the lobby, a must do for everyone! The hotel is conveniently atached to the Maria Zambrano Train Station which made our trip to Seville very convenient. There is also a great mall that is part of the station. There are bus stops right in front of the station, including a stop for the Hop-On-Hop-Off City Tour. If you are planning a business event, they have a great space for entertaining. Downside...its a bit far to from Malagueta Beach.

The hotel was above expectations, with spacious room full of specially designed fixtures, like multiple lights, very convenient bathroom with thoughts about the user, full minibar. WiFi and TV was working fine, could be more programs in English, but in the city like Malaga you don’t have time for this anyway. The only minus was the walk to the old city, that was a little bit tricky when dark, while absolutely safe to walk. No noise from the station, which is located on the first floor, it takes only 8 minutes to get to and from airport, very cheap and convenient. Will enjoy the stay there again if ever go to Malaga.

Repeat customer. Very nice modern hotel. Attentive staff, great location. It is inside the train station, which is a kind of shopping mall with stores and little restaurants. There is a local train that goes to/from the airport in 8 minutes. Comfortable beds, pillow selection, rooms have full body showers or tubs. Bar downstairs in lobby is cool, casual, reasonably priced and gaudi-esque. Recommend asking for a room on the West side of the building, as the east side is hot in the morning (direct sun). The east side also doesn't have bidet in the room.

Overall, the hotel was perfect. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and modern. The location was AMAZING! We had access to all the bus, train and Renfe. Perfect hotel if you want your base to be Malaga and travel to other cities.

It was fantastic. The People were hospitable, friendly, and courteous. The hotel was in a prime location, in the mall, next to the train and bus stations with taxi cabs. The food was excellent, espicially VIPS Resturant in the mall. I will definitely visit again.

Loved it!!! There is a sliding board from the first floor tothe lobby. Hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and next to the train station which has fabulous shopping!

The hotel is great if you're spending a lot of time travelling by bus and train in and out of Malaga but it's not in the older part of the city where the museums and other sights are. It's within walking distance but not a short walk.

I have stayed here twice. The first time, the air conditioning and internet wasn't working. Had to be moved three times. No compensation was given to me. The second time, the wallpaper was beginning to come off the wall, and the shower head wouldn't stay at head level (it was on a sliding bar, and it kept falling to the bottom).
