Enjoyed a fantastic Christmas drink in the rooftop bar- fantastic view at night! Cost 8€ to get in but that included the first drink and the view was included! If you are looking for a great view over the harbour, I’d recommend it. It also has a rooftop pool, that would be a pretty cool way to spend a hot day!

All i can say is that the saving grace of this hotel is their rooftop bar and the warm service of Ricardo, the valet and my trusted concierge. I was surprised the lady actually at the reception (her manager was also quite aloof) actually lied to me about parking - saying there is no free parking to be found when i heard and verified otherwise. Nonetheless i had my car parked at the hotel. Rooms were ok, nothing fancy - at least there was an ok balcony. Ricardo gave me excellent advice on a nearby restaurant that served great lobster soupy rice - kindly convey for thanks to him for representing the hotel well and turning around what would otherwise be a rather mediocre experience.

We loved the hotel last time we stayed, but this time, in Winter, the room was very hot and there was no way of cooling it. Reception told me that the air conditioning will only blow hot air in winter, so they gave us a fan, which was very noisy. They did say that rooms on the other side of the hotel are cooler. Buffet breakfast was 15 euros each, which I thought was expensive. There wasn't a continental breakfast option. I would have liked to see one English newspaper available. We did have a small kettle as well as a coffee machine. One of the shelves above the minibar was dusty. The lifts are very odd as there is a touch screen before you get into the lift to select your floor.

Generally the service is what you expect from this level of hotel. A few irritating points. The fact that in our room there was no kettle or facilities for making a hot drink was something I would expect.I can only comment on the facilities I used. The big plus is it’s central position and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. The cleaners were efficient. Breakfast is what You would expect from this level of hotel. Like many of these large international hotel groups the Hotel lacks individuality but that is not the fault of the hotel just the nature of these type of groups. A pleasant comfortable experience overall.

This is a very good hotel near the cathedral. Central place To discover the old town of Malaga. Good welcome with car park service and precise management of your booking. Comfortable rooms with good view the the Sea frontside or Malaga. We appreciate.

If friends are in town, take them to the AC Marriott's rooftop bar for a drink and a panoramic view of the Alcazaba (fort), Cathedral and the sea. They begin roping off a section around 6:30pm for hotel guests to have dinner so the bar area is half the size to the public. But go during the mid afternoon and you'll be sure to get a bar table. There's a teeny tiny pool you can swim in but nobody ever does, it'd be like swimming in a fish bowl with all to watch.

The hotel is located next to the Malaga Cathedral, 5 minutes walk to the shopping street calle de Larios, nice boulevard of Puerto de Malaga and many other tourist attractions. It's top location. Friendly staff, very professional. I agree with Mr. Ed V that the doorman did indeed difference reaction to the guests. When he saw such people with chique outfit, he ran directly to the door to open it. Further, we're very satisfied staying 2 nights in this hotel though the breakfast was not included. The hotel has a very nice top roof where you can enjoy the view of the Malaga city centre. The room is big, clean, has good bed and wifi. There was no water cooker in the room. It's also a point to be recognized that this hotel indeed makes the difference between one room to the others. We only got a bottle water as a complementary while I saw in the pictures on trip advisor, most of the room got 2 bottles water and has a water cooker.

In the heart of Malaga, this great Mariott hotel close to the imposing cathedral. Spacious, clean rooms with big balconies overlooking part of town. Love their roof-top bar from which you oversee the harbor area with it's fancy restaurant/dancing area.

Seeing the lights on the roof terrace as we were passing to go to the Christmas Market, we called in for a drink. Situated on the 15th floor with magnificent nighttime views across the City and the Port, we found ourselves a gem. Heaters along the outside walls deflect the cold wind that comes in from the sea. Friendly staff, great views, very good service and very reasonable prices. We ended up spending longer than our intended quick drink, and you do not have to be a hotel resident to use the facilities. There is also a pool. Not open for use at night and in the winter. I am not sure if visitors can use this facility or it is limited to hotel guests.

Went up to the rooftop bar for drinks on a Friday night, they have great heaters for cooler evenings and the atmosphere was fun and social. I’m sure it gets very busy in peak season so there would be a wait to go up as capacity is limited. You don’t have to stay at the hotel to go to the bar. Good music and amazing views across the port.
