I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. We had a wonderful stay (our second) The staff are sooo welcoming ...it felt like coming home again We stayed in a Level Premium Room on the 6th floor. Lovely, sunny room with massive terrace providing a warm comfortable area for coffee or a sunbathe Half board was good value, as we paid early as part of a package. The buffet breakfast and supper is well worth the extra paid for evening meal. Lots of choice hot food freshly cooked to perfection. The grilled fish and meats prepared there and then, so always fresh. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Generally everything is good but if the weather gets bad there is nothing to do inside the hotel for kids. There was no music or any kind of entertainment at the bar. Clean hotel, beautiful garden and outside pools , there is outside playground for children

Just returned from a girlie trip to Puerto Banus and stayed at the Melia, was a friends 50th and we found the accommodation, the staff and facilities exceptional. Bottle of champers and chocolate cake and candles on arrival was a lovely touch too. Nothing too much trouble really clean and obviously beautiful place to be walking distance of Marina :-).

What a fab location went there on a golfing long weekender close to great golf courses and able to walk to Puerto Banus for drinks so no driving involved. Staff at the hotel really friendly and helpful. The only downside is that there was no tea/coffee making facility in the room, drinks a tad expensive in the lounge even compared to drinks in Puerto.

We've stayed at this hotel twice and both times there were ants in the rooms. The first time in the bedroom along the wall from the glass door to the bed; the second time, in the bathroom. I walked in during the night with bare feet. Yuck. The hotel is nice and the staff are nice and the location is great, but jeez, get rid of the ants.

Ideal location for beach and Puerto Banus. Hotel rooms are a good size and those facing the pool idea as you get afternoon balcony sunshine. After a 3rd visit to this hotel I'm getting tired of the same old. You need to get a taxi to restaurants. And when the hotel is quiet no real buzz about the place. Felt a little disappointed as requested a room 3 months in advance to be given not what I asked for. Surely!!

Amazing value for money. We stayed for six nights with our two year old in a standard room. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean,in fact all areas of the hotel are immaculate. We had an excellent choice of food at breakfast which was included in our deal and also tried the evening buffet one evening. The gardens and playground are perfect for a toddler. It seems that the staff are all working together to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. We look forward to recommending the hotel to friends and hope to return in the summer.

I enjoyed a lot my stay at Melia Puerto Banus. The staff was really helpful and attentive. Special mention to the quality and diversity of the food menu. This would be my first option for a next stay in Puerto Banus.

This Meliá Resort has a great location next to the beach and Board Walk to Puerto Banus. Excellent and large rooms, several Pools, tennis courts and outdoor facilities. Spa facilities. Limited food and beverage facilities within the hotel, but walking distance to many restaurants in Puerto Banus. Has hotel parking at €10.00 per day, but there is also free parking spaces in front of the hotel entrance. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. José Campo, CHA

We visited this hotel last October and quickly discovered a few, what we thought, were negative points during our week's stay. As our flight was earlier in the day and the fact that their own site mentioned an early check-in facility (if available) we booked through the hotel's website rather than other well known sites and let them know prior to arrival what time we would be checking in. Unfortunatly our room was not ready and after waiting a few hours we were told quite firmly (via the cleaners) that it would not be ready until the correct time, which it was close to the last minute. Every other hotel which we have visited in the past have always tried to accommodate us if we have asked for this facility. The outdoor pools, although looked amazing, were very cold. The one located in the top gardens, was far too cold to swim in which was very disappointing as the indoor pool was very small in size and soon became overcrowded even when a few guests were using it. The food was ok - I did expect better quality of meat bearing in mind the cost of half board, although there was plenty of meal options which you could choose from. The Level room was very nice - it had a small garden area and you were unable to hear any noise coming from the rooms either side but it was situated along a long corridor which became noisy in the evening when guests were returning to their rooms especially when they decided to run along it.. We discovered that there was a bus stop at the end of the road during our stay but we mostly got a taxi to the bus station in Marbella when we visited places like Ronda and Malaga. The beach which was fairly close to the hotel had grey sand and didn't look very appealing, but perhaps it looked different during the summer months. The walk into Marbella along the front was very nice - if you want to get a taxi from the centre for your return to the hotel they charge more on a Sunday than for the rest of the week.
