Malaga is not just about the coast and sunshine. While these two factors are appreciated, this city is a true box of surprises. It has the sea, mountains, art, stunning architecture, century-old ice creams, beach barbecues, but above all, joy and festivity. Malaga is a city that condenses all the goodness of the Andalusian Mediterranean.
From the apartment, you can easily access everything. Just 68 meters away is the Wine Museum, a space where history, culture, art, and education around the wines of the province of Malaga coexist. The Pablo Picasso Birthplace Museum is 550 meters away, where the rooms housing the permanent collection of the Picasso Museum Malaga have been renovated, enhancing proximity and knowledge about the work of Pablo Picasso, covering all periods of the Malaga artist.
The Teatro Cervantes is located 600 meters from the “Viento Terraza” duplex and our theater is distinguished by the density and diversity of activities that take place there. The cultural offerings are endless.
The main monuments of the city are really very close, such as the Malaga Cathedral, 700 meters away, one of the great beauties of the city. Its two entrances are wonderful, the main one in Plaza del Obispo, where the Episcopal Palace is located, and the other on Calle Císter, a charming street with a lot of history, where you will also find great bars to taste local wines.
From Plaza de la Constitución, about 500 meters from the apartment, you can access many other monuments and places of interest, such as the Thyssen Museum of Malaga, the Alcazaba and the Roman Theater... The port is approximately 1.9 km away, which translates to a walk of just under 20 minutes, and from there you can reach La Malagueta Beach, which is 200 meters from the end of the port, the well-known Muelle Uno, a new concept of outdoor shopping center where you will find all kinds of shops, bars, restaurants, bazaars, all while enjoying views of the Bay of Malaga.

Our duplex is an apartment with a maximum capacity for 4 people. An apartment that stands out for its brightness, high ceilings, and modern, comfortable style. The first floor features a living-dining room with an integrated kitchen, equipped with all the utensils and appliances needed for short or long stays: microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, ceramic hob, kettle, etc. It has a very comfortable and functional bathroom, with a large shower with a glass partition and storage space. On this same floor, you will find a bedroom with a large double bed. All floors have wooden flooring and balconies facing outside.
On the upper floor, accessed by a beautiful wrought iron and wooden staircase, you will find the terrace, which enjoys sunlight for most of the day.

Not very clean but good location
The Location was very good - near the main shopping street and the party area. Unfortunately the floor was not very clean, the towels were kind a smelly and the kitchen equipment was not washed. The check-in was very easy - we came after midnight and could enter the apartment even then. Overall we had a nice stay.

Week in Malaga
This property was ever better than anticipated! Location was super convenient and the entire city center was walkable. Outside appearance was not great, but outside lighting was very good and never any concerns for safety. This was not an issue for us, but we never used the upstairs sleeping area due to the warmer temperature in that space. A/C in main, downstairs areas was wonderful. Locks on doors were a little tricky, especially the outside door, but not sure how anything more could be done to make this a non-issue. The booking agent we worked with through VRBO did tell us ahead of time that the locks were sometimes difficult to master.

Great location & value for money
This apartment had everything we needed, although we admittedly didn't spend a lot of time there as there's so much to see in Malaga.
The communication beforehand & the check-in process was great. We were able to leave our luggage at the office while we went for lunch & the helpful staff texted us when apartment was ready.
The apartment was in a perfect location for us. The street was quiet but all the amenities were close by & the city centre was only a leisurely 15 min walk.
It was an "adventure" climbing the stairs (the terrace & upstairs bedrooms are accessed by them so I wouldn't recommend for anyone who has mobility issues. There is also a small balcony downstairs.
We slept in the downstairs bedroom which was very quiet & the shutters kept the room cool and dark.
This apartment is a good option for a couple & for those who want to stay in a peaceful area.

Tv has only two channels, pillows are the cheapest, mattress very uncomfortable.

Der Zustand der Wohnung ist eher renovierungsbedürftig. In jedem Zimmer gäbe es etwas zu reparieren. Sei es die Dunstabzugshaube, ein Regal im Bad, die Steckdose im Schlafzimmer, der wackelige Tisch auf der Terrasse. Auch entsprechen die Fotos der Wohnung nicht (mehr) der Realität. Es wäre schön wenn das über den Winter repariert wird wenn die Wohnung vielleicht nicht lückenlos vermietet ist. Denn die Wohnung hat Charme und für die wenigen Quadratmeter eine nette Aufteilung. Die Dachterrasse war herrlich im November. Im Sommer wäre ein Sonnenschirm sinnvoll und auch ein Vorhang an der Terrassentür. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist die gute LageDie Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber ging recht schleppend, über holidays2malaga kam teilweise gar keine Antwort

Das war mitunter die schlechteste Ferienwohnung die ich jemals gemietet habe. Die Wohnung war extrem schmutzig und abgewohnt und in einem desolaten Zustand (siehe Fotos). Auf die Couch und die Sessel habe ich mich nicht setzen wollen, da diese mit Flecken übersät waren. Das Badezimmer war ekelhaft, mit Schimmel in der Dusche. Wir hatten diese Wohnung 10 Tage gemietet und mussten schon am dritten Tag Toilettenpapier kaufen. Es gab kein Spülmittel und die Handtücher rochen, als hätte man sie nicht gewaschen. Das obere Geschoss war dunkel und das Bett war nicht bezogen, obwohl ich darum gebeten hatte. Der Boden der Terrasse war extrem schmutzig. Die Stühle hatten auch die beste Zeit hinter sich. Der Tisch war defekt, man konnte nichts abstellen, da die Tischplatte nur auf dem Gestell lag. Hätte ich die Möglichkeit gehabt, hätte ich in dieser Wohnung nicht eine Nacht verbracht. Unverschämt, wie man so eine Wohnung vermieten kann. Schon beim betreten des Hausflures, fragt man sich, wann dieser wohl das letzte Mal gereinigt wurde. Positiv war, das alle Räume mit einer Klimaanlage versehen war. Die Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber dieser Wohnung war sehr gut. Die Lage ist perfekt und sehr zentral.

Die Fotos entsprechen nicht (mehr) der Realität, die Wohnung ist schon recht runter. Ich würde sagen, es ist alles auf den schnellen, kurzen Besuch junger Menschen ausgelegt. Wir wollten als Ü50 etwas Kultur, Strand und Tapas. Dafür sind dann zwei/vier Handtücher sowie kein Bettwäschewechsel etc. in 14 Tagen halt okay, aber nicht unbedingt gut.
