It was a good room, very clean, comfortable. Just the service was pretty poor. Not very helpful and their English is very minimal. However managerd to communicate with Google translate which was great!

I typically enjoy the Tryp chain for modern and styling and reliable comforts. This branch was a disappointment. The room was drab and shabby, there was a hole in the floor tile and the curtains were dirty. There's no room safe and outlets are inaccessible. The only positive was the well working air conditioning. Breakfast is basic and not up to sniff compared to other Spanish hotels. Location is not convenient to city center, about 20 min by train. The station is a 10 min walk from hotel.

Horrible hotel! No hairdryer in the room, when I requested, was asked to call after an hour. Limited choices in breakfast buffet takes a long time to replenish. Buffet almost empty at 8:30. Very limited toiletries. Rude employees.

It is a reasonable priced hotel in walking distance to the University UC3M. Rooms are nice. They serve a great breakfirst buffet, which ensures a good start into the day. I definitive can recommend this hotel.

For a 3 star hotel is ok. The entrance hall impresses but thats it. The room needed some work, no blow hair dryer, no water or tea available, hard mattress, one bad pillow with no choices. At least it was cheap...

Excellent price-quality ratio with an exceptional location of the hotel close to the capital easily accessible by train and underground. Very good staff, efficient and polite. Nice rooms. Highly recommended.

Melia is always the best experience, great beds, and great feeling, but despite all the good things about it, the only thing that sticks to my mind is the shouting and screaming of this cleaner Dolores. OMG she did not let anyone sleep with her shouting in the corridor and even when other ppl told her to stop, she continued with her shouting, not only was she disturbing our sleep but she was bullying the other cleaning ladies. Awful. I was happy to leave that sunday. bye bye dolorez. I know some comments say all the employees were rude but I think generally everyone else was nice.... except for dolores. Anyway, I have also been to the Melia in Barceloba and I must say the one in Barcelona is better in interior.

I am travelling world-wide quite a lot for my company. I can certainly say that employees of this hotel are the worst in my entire hotel experience. I will describe one of the most unpleasant experiences. day-2: at the breakfast, a hotel clerk (San***) came to me and didn't hide her bad mood. She told me "you cannot enter here!!!". She probably thought i am one of the Asian group tourists in their hotel (and maybe their stays dont include breakfasts). But, then she realized that I don't belong to the group and thus asked my room number. Of course, she didn't explain why she had to be so rude. day-3: when i entered the hall for the breakfast, the same woman (Sand**) came (ran) to me with an even more annoyed mood than the day before. She literally yelled at me "NO! NO! YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER HERE!!!! YOU CAN'T DRINK COFFEE HERE!!!". I asked her why she is treating a guest with such an attitude. She then realized that I maybe have a right to have my breakfast. Her bad mood didn't change even after that but my mood in that morning was completely ruined. I was asked by my business partners what happened to me. (it was obviously shown on my face all day long). It is important to let the hotel owner know that the guests who are horribly treated like that can negatively influence on hotel's reputation. I certainly do not recommend this hotel. Especially for those who have a different skin color from them, you should think three times before booking this hotel.

The rooms we stayed with family weren't the pictured ones you see on the internet . Our double bedroom was cramped. Two separate bedded room was more spacious. soap and shampoo dispensers were broken. The rooms and bath were very clean. The hotel was well situated. Easy access to restaurants and train station. Breakfast was moderate. Workers were helpful.

Nice hotel, staff very friendly, good english spoken, good for stop over and business stay but wouldnt stay as holiday, not much to see if you had no car, all though rail links are good. biggest disapointment no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms. room design not good walls must be made of paper you can here the shower, toilet flush and bath as if it was in the room.
