No window to the outside and terribly noisy since the sounds from the restaurant echoes right into your room. I have never stayed in a hotel that doesn't get any natural light. Hotels.com also said it was a 4 star hotel when in fact it is a 3 start hotel.

I have not stayed here yet but a friend who lives not far took me, she said it serves the best G&T's in Madrid and it does, you can have tapas or just a drink, got a great wine selection and Gin of course, friendly bar staff and great location, will stay the next time I am in Madrid. Cant recommend a room but the Gins are superb ;)

Absolutely beautiful hotel room in a very good location. Free drink upon arrival was a nice touch! We were upgraded to a bigger room which was fantastic too. Very clean and quiet! Could not recommend enough

Lovely boutique hotel in a good location within walking distance to all the central features like the Palace, Cathedral and Prado Art Galley. Very helpful and friendly staff. We had breakfast which was very good. Our room was very comfortable with a good bed. Downstairs was a bar and restaurant with a see through glass floor to the cellar below - an interesting talking point. Only improvement we could see was the need for some comfy seating to relax in - perhaps the central area downstairs could be turned into more of a lounge? Thanks for a nice stay. We would come again.

Lovely comfy room. We looked out into Cava Baja, so right in the middle some fantastic bars and restaurants. We were given a welcome drink at the bar, which offers great tapas and fabulous wines and beers. You are in the a lively part of Madrid, so it can be noisy till the early hours. The room had good double glazing and aircon so you can block a lot out. Such a great location, Plaza Mayor is a short distance away.

While traveling through Spain and Portugal we chose this hotel for our one night in Madrid. It was a very cute room, and fit 4 adults comfortably. The inside of the hotel was very neat, and had a restaurant on the first floor that unfortunately we did not try. It was walking distance to everything, we only had to Uber to one spot. We would definitely stay here again!

If you would ever want to combine your business meeting with family (with teens) stay in central Madrid, think of Posada del Leon de Oro, Madrid. It's location in Calle Cava Baja would enable your family to visit the many museums and palace nearby. Mercado de San Miguel is nearby for a fun and interstitial taste of tapas. Down the road along Calle Cava Baja is Casa Lucas, one of the favourites in La Latina. The nearby Sol is a wonderful gateway for you to get to meeting and back in the efficient transport system of light rail renfe and metro. Enjoy your stay.

On the whole this is a good hotel- well located, clean, up to date ammenities. Noise was our only real issue. Some rooms are placed around a central atrium, open to a public bar/restaurant. The noise from this continues until after midnight. Not a problem if you've come for the nightlife but it is a problem for those wanting to sleep earlier. Apart from this I can recommend it.

Thumbs up to this delightful cozy hotel, ideal location near Plaza Mayor. On "Restaurant Row" or dine downstairs for excellent fine dining. Large modern room, comfy bed, elevator. Thumbs down to Trip Advisor, Hotels.com and Expedia who cancelled or "non refundable" reservation (but still charged us) without our knowledge. We arrived at 8 am from US to find we had no room. Lovely Anna was so helpful calling Expedia, booking us privately for the nights she had open and finding us another hotel next door for other nights. A larger hotel would not have been this accommodating. HIGHLY recommended.

This place has a good offer in terms of value for money. It's a cozy place with a very good waiter service. Also the ratio quality price is very convenient because they offer tasty dishes at reasonable prices considering the area, like garlic mushrooms. Hope you enjoy your time here with your friends like I did! For more info about food and afterwork follow me on ig mosteirola
