Booked direct as was cheaper than a well known common bookings site. The staff were unfailingly helpful positive and great. Loved the apartment well equipped designed great location air con new kitchen really high standard . Had read in a early rewiew hot water was limited not the case power shower and washing machine if that's your sort of thing. You could have drained the El Atazar and still had plenty left. Would recommend & the WiFi was high speed so you could travel toons of the most dynamic and beautiful cities in the world and stay in yr room tweeting lol
We stayed during World Pride in apartment 1D in Calle San Marco 8. The bedroom balcony looks straight down Calle Pelayo which was certainly the center of the street party in Chueca. To us, it was amazing. You could sit in your own space and watch the whole party. If you wanted a quiet get away this would have been a problem. The noise levels when we eventually wanted to go to sleep was easily overcome with a set of earplugs. I would most definitely stay here again during such an event. The apartment is modern and furnished with flair. The bathroom only has a shower but that suited us. The kitchen had all the utensils that was needed to make basic food including an oven. The bed and bedding was very nice. There were 2 pull out beds under the couches in the lounge that had rather thin mattresses that I thought could be rather uncomfortable for a fair sized adult. There is no full length mirror in the place. The staff at reception were always friendly and helpful. We arrived in Madrid early in the morning and left late at night. Before and after check-in and check-out we were able to leave our luggage at another of their properties in Gran Via at no charge that certainly made our lives easier. The property is about halfway between Chueca and Gran Via Metro stations and within easy walking distance from either.
The apartment was very easy to find, and situated in the party area of Madrid. The receptionist was outstanding and extremely helpful. Check in was ever easier. The apartment loft style was spacious, clean, AC was on and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were also spacious and the showers fantastic. Around the building you can find very easy convenient stores so you can fill up your fridge. Visiting Madrid this would be the place to stay again. You should try it!!!
This apartment was not easy to find, but having found it, our first encounter with the check-in staff was less than good. The female staff member was off-handed and officious. She needs to be either unskilled or fired. The apartment was clean and spacious and comfortable. Our room faced the street which meant it was noisy late into the night. But it is Central Madrid! It was good value for money if you prefer an apartment to a small hotel room.
Studio is centrally located but the bedroom is by a car park which is very noisy and has a bar/club behind the study. It is very difficult to rest at night as this location is very, very noisy. About the studio it self, the difference between an ok experience and a very good one is when little details are taken care off. This is a studio ONLY for people who want to be in a noisy area.
Arrived late at night off a flight. Late check in no problem, the guy was waiting for us' Appartment clean and fresh. Very comfortable beds. Good local location lots of restaurants to choose from. Close to all attractions
Great central location to stay. I've stayed here several time and have always had a great stay, but this time I have to say the customer service was a BIG FAT ZERO. Laura/Lora is not nice, she is/was rude on all three interactions I had with her. I had interactions with two other staff members and they were nice and extremely helpful and kind. Wish this wouldn't have happened, but now I know and now you know.
Great place to stay, very friendly and very central. The apartment has every you need to offer, from wine opener to iron. Also very clean, only you can see some usage signs at the walls. We had a shower and a bath tub. The separation of the rooms was perfect due to the fact that the bed room was in the upper floor. In the neighbourhood u have everything u need from groceries and a big shopping street as well as bars near by. Most important you feel safe at the place and in the area. I missed a cup for my tooh brusch and some more hocks for the towels in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend and come again.
Nothing! Very Miserable Stay from the moment we picked up the keys to the moment we left. Hospitality and welcoming from front Desk is a 0, We walked from the main train station which is a 30 minutes walk with our bags. Then got to the address, were told us to check-in. The main lady was very unfriendly and I guess not having a great morning. Someone else upset her, and she was giving us the attitude. After a long flight!. After she verified the CC and ID, she had another young girl take us to another area for our apartment, which was about 12-15 mins walk. She gave the keys and left, never showed us around the place, gave us recommendations, nothing. The locks at the front door to the patio were very poor, the main door lock was broken, a safe that would not open, and sheer curtains that were dirty and not fixed. The patio on the picture was so, so discussing, we never even used it. The floor carpet of the apartment was black, never been cleaned, so we all left our socks and shoes on. After entering and checking everything, I called the Manager, the only thing they said "its safe, you don't need to lock the door", yet, when I asked about the safe not opening, they said " it's broken". Then they hung up. The bathroom was so small and smelly, it needs updating, Mildew on the entire shower, I did not want to even stand there, see photos. Unfortunately, I searched online, for another place and everything was full, that could hold 5 persons. The apartment was above a bar/tapas/restaurant... this was not disclosed. The music and noise went on until 1:00 p.m., and then all you heard were the people hanging out.. Garbages being picked up by 6:00 a.m.... so after along day of sightseeing, we didn't sleep well. We came from Barcelona, and we loved the apartment there, so Yes!, I can recommend that place, but NEVER will I, this one. When we checked out, all they wanted to do is to leave the key on the table.
The apartment was clean, spacious, and well decorated. We thought we only had 1 bathroom in our townhouse, but were surprised to see 2 bathrooms! The layout was well utilized with a pull-out trundle bed, a nice dining table, and even a desk area. I would recommend asking for an apartment on a higher level--we were on the second floor and could hear quite a bit of noise Friday and Saturday nights as people stayed out late night.
