Great hotel in a super location and a beautiful building. Staff very friendly and helpful with great local knowledge. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Family room was very spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable .... we also loved having the balconies. Overall a fantastic choice for a trip to Madrid - we will definitely be back!

Excellent location - short walk to Gran Via, Plaza Sol or Plaza Mayor. Very good, polite and helpful customer service. The small room is small indeed, though having great queen-size beds. Only two small nuisances: strong light at the backyard turned on and off during night, strong stand-by TV set light you cannot turn off.

The customer service in this establishment was top notch. Extremely helpful, going above & beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Directions on where to find things, activity suggestions & restaurant reservations - very impressed A cute quirky style place that has been designed to make the most of what space is available. Perfect for families. I did worry about my youngest being on the top bunk as there were no safety side bars but all ended well (despite constantly checking on him). Rooms were cleaned each day with no issues, cleanliness overall was fairly good. We did not eat here but the lollies on the counter & tea by the elevator were a great touch which we took advantage of. My sons 11, the bikes looked slightly too big for him. Be a great day out though for the family as it gets warmer. Only flaw is the noise. Location is perfect but with that comes the late night partying outside & the home coming of other people in the hotel was also quite disruptive to sleep. My advice, take ear plugs - trucks, car horns & homeless people lined up asleep along the wall of a neighbouring hotel contributed to the outside chaos. Security was great in the hotel however, no issues at all (need room key to get back in of an evening). Overall I would recommend this hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the birthday gift for my son, it was a lovely touch which made his day (& ours) :)

The hotel is perfectly located on a small and quier square near Gran Via. It's in a walking distance from many atractions like Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Corto Inglese... The room was a good size with a very big bathroom. Buffet style breakfast had a variety od food. Hotel staff speak english. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Madrid.

A good choice for those who value a hotel's central location for an affordable price, still having all the benefits of a great accommodation. The hotel breakfast for 11€ / person was enough and wholesome but still somehow pricy. You do your own math :) Ps. Don't let yourself be fooled by the well-advertised coffee machine in the corridors. It's actually a small capsule machine in the lobby that is greatly missed at the morning.

We Spent 2 days during my son's spring brake, this hotel has a great location, the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel is right downtown, has access to everything. Very close to "Plaza Mayor" and close to various family restaurants. I Will highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here the first night we arrived to Spain before heading up to the mountains. The front desk staff was very nice and stored our bags until the room was. The room was not large but it had what we needed. We had a room with a set of bunk beds for the kids and two twins pushed together. Our bed was very comfortable which was nice after being jet lagged coming in from the United States. The bathroom was plenty large with plenty of towels. I read on previous comments complaints of the view looking into another building. We had a window which did face another buildings/indoor coradore. However, we didn't come to Madrid to look out our window so it didn't really bother us. In fact we have traveled across Europe quit often and a view of another building is not uncommon. The hotel is a short walk from the metro station and close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. We would stay here again.

This was my third time that i was staying in the hotel. Great location in the center, friendly stuff, very good buffet breakfast, very good rooms. The rooms at the front to the Plaze del Carmen are preferred.

Stayed here for a 3 day business trip in March 2017. Very close to Sol, so very central and also really easy to get around by public transport. The hotel is having some building work on the ground floor at the minute. My room was on the 3rd floor and I didn't experience any noise or inconvenience. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They even arranged a 'picnic' breakfast for me as I was leaving at 4am in the morning for an early flight home. My room was small but very well equipped and looked very recently updated. All in all a very nice hotel which I would use again both for business or leisure.

very nice hotel and stuff. It was our first time in Madrid and it was a perfect area and very comfortable hotel. we also toke one day the bikes no charge and had a very good time. The breakfast was very diverse, clean and fresh! We will come back again.
