The hotel is very central, on Gran Via and 250 m walking down to Sol. Registration took some time and two elevators build queus at breakfast time. You may opt for breakfast and I recommend you to do so, it is worth it. Small rooms with hard beds, but comfortable. Small bath room with sprinkle shower head. Large size towels. Room safe but no fridge. The hotel turned out better and better for each day. Staff helpfulness added on our satisfaktion.
Truly enjoyed my stay. the breakfast was very good. The location to the metro is excellent. I would recommend this place to others as well. It is clean and the personnel is always trying to help you in anything that you need help in,
This hotel is perfectly located for tourists. All major attractions are on walking distance- max 20 min. walk. If you are lazy metro is next to the hotel. Actually what you will pay for transportation from more distant place makes sense to be paid extra here as a price per night. People from the hotel are very nice, friendly and helpful. Place is very safe, although it is on a very busy street. Rooms are big and nice. It is a bit noisy, but I assume this must be expected in the city center of a city of 5 million people. WiFi is operational, but not the fastest ever... Breakfast is good quality and nice variety- typical hotel high middle to high standard. There are several things I do not understand: 1. Family room has a very small wardrobe- max. 2 people can use it. 2. No mini bar. 3. Room has enough space, but there is no sofa. Only a table with 2 chairs. Family room accommodates 4 people, why 2 chairs. 4 The master bed is divided by 2. The beds during sleep separate by themselves. One of our children was too small for the second floor and the bigger one was afraid of the height of the second bed. We had to sleep 3 on the bedroom and this will not be any problem if it was a full bed. 5. Elevator of the building needs reparation. Before stopping it shakes badly. It is very scary. Overall impression is very good, In Madrid this is perfect staring point for tourists .
Very good place exactly out of the station of metro ever I was so down town in the central square Puerta del sol!! Very comfort rooms and very clean!! The only negative for this money is the breakfast! Is very poor and bad quality!!
Very convenient location in the city center. Nice staff. I asked for a quiet room and I got it. Breakfast was really tasty. I was surprised with such a choice in a 3-star hotel. The Superior Room had all the things we usually get in a 4-star hotels. The biggest positive surprise wre complimentary soft-drinks in a mini bar. A kettle with tea and coffee were an advantage.
Amazing location on Gran Via. The building is old but rooms have been renovated. Ours was very nice, on the first floor (it would be 2nd in the US), not noisy at all. Breakfast was very good and service very friendly.
Just left the hotel highly-disappointed. Had my backpack stolen right in the lobby as we were waiting to depart. Cash, passport, credit card, medicine--all gone. The duty manager's terrible response is that I should be more careful. If this or anything else occurs - it will be the same. Thus, from a truly conscientious traveler, I recommend you simply stay away and book elsewhere.
This hotel suffices for traveller needs but lacks charm. Furniture is basic and utilitarian but given its great location, some thought and design would have been warranted. I had no issues during my stay but no great enjoyment either.
I stayed at this hotel at November 16-18 location of the hotel is the best , you are close to everything waking in 5-10 minutes ( Puerta de Sol, Opera,Plaza Mayor) it’s on of Main Streets of Madrid Gran Via and in front of Plaza de España . We get hotel and we meet Very Politely and Smiley Gentlemen( Receptionist) he made a check in 2 min and explain everything very good . In general all the staff of hotel very very smiley, helpful, and politely , we took very breakfast included and my expectations was justified. 5 from 5. Thank you so much for this service .
We like the hotel rooms and the service. It provides a nice breakfast. The lobby is not very attractive. The staff is great. They will try to help as much as possible. The location is excellent. It provides a great
