This was my second time to Madrid and didn't want to be in the hustle and bustle. The Hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the Real Madrid Stadium. The room and bathroom was pretty standard but I really liked the neighbourhood. I felt more like a local than a tourist. There is a super cheap and tasty bakery on the corner, so no need for the expensive breakfast. Very disappointed by the WIFI, our room was at the end of a corridor and we only got a signal in the bathroom.
This hotel is well located away from the tourist chatter but close to good restaurants and within easy reach of the airport. The hotel is looking very tired. It is gloomy despite the bright lighting. Bedrooms are poorly appointed with TV which has no connection to international stations. There are no electrical plugs in the room to connect mobile phone chargers. Something of the last millennium about this hotel.
+ Good hotel + Great location + Nutritious and varied breakfast + Near to metro stations and the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium - A Bit noisy in the mornings - Awful wi-fi connection An overall good hotel for a couple nights in Madrid.
This hotel is located in center of Madrid, right behind Eorope Tower and near Santiago Bernabau stadium, 7 mins by walk from metro. Well, hotel has 4 stars, but I really didn't get how... Rooms are small, but clean. Furniture is old, bathroom is cold ans shower is strange: strong pressure almost hit me down. Breakfast is really bad: coffee is weakest I ever tried in hotels, pastry is cold and abviously from yesterday, omlet and bacon are cold too. So to sum up: for one night stay is ok, not more.
Superb value for money, didnt bother adding the breakfast as continental breakfast is not for us. Twin room very spacious with large bathroom, easy check in and reception staff were superb, sorted everything we needed, highly recommended
I came to Madrid t see the stadium. This is a good choice fro one-night stay. there are no special stairs for luggage so this is a little buzz. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. comfortable, good price, breakfast is not complimentary small, old furnished rooms. they are good for youth. no need for more. About 10 minutes walk from the Santiago Bernabeu football ground and 15 minutes from the metro.
Comfortable hotel, not luxury but good value for money. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Also, a choice of nearby metro stations. About 10 minutes walk from the Santiago Bernebeu football ground and 15 minutes on the metro from Alvarado station to the centre.(Sol.) I would go back.
Very friendly and helpful staff. But everything is old, dark and had to be renovated urgently. The breakfast was fine but the room terrible more like a train station. For one night okay but not for a longer stay.
If you are a soccer lover and need a cheap place to crash this will be ok for a night . Friendly staff and a good breakfast , within walking distance from the Bernabeu. Good choice of restaurants in the area, but the place is dated and confortable beds are non existent.Better sleep on the floor ! The place will close and remodeled in April . Let's hope so !
This hotel is dated, the lobby isn't too bad when you first come in but let's be honest and say the rest of the hotel needs a complete revamp. They have however replaced the TVs in the rooms to more updated ones. The rooms are quite small but are ok if you're only going to lay your head there. To be fair it's pretty clean around the whole place and the cleaner came in both days we stayed. You get a couple of essential toiletries including soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste etc. The beds are pretty hard to lie on and the 'duvet' if you can call it that is like an old blanket from Grandmas house. There is no kettle in the room which would have been nice but there is a mini fridge. I would say the hotel is ok if you're only staying a night or two but personally I wouldn't book it again. The area around the hotel is nice and there are plenty of shops. There is a shop called 'Dia' around the corner which we found ok for some snacks. If you're staying in the area please visit the shop called 'MUNDO BAZAR' it's got so many cool things in to check out. We spent nearly €100 in there because everything is a bargain! Really recommend it. Also 'El Corte Ingles' is really special so check that out. Back to the hotel, didn't sleep great to be honest because of the walls being so thin and the beds so hard but anyway it's ok so if you're on a tight budget then book it and try for yourself. I'm not fussy when it comes to hotels but my honest opinion is it's not good really. The breakfast is a bit of a dud as well so I wouldn't get that either. Anyway I'm going to go back to my room from the 70's now so see ya bye
