Rooms are large for Europe, front desk staff is helpful, large fitness area, food available in hotel. There are restaurants close by. My room was very quiet as hotel is generally located back from the street. As this is not in the tourist old center or near the conference center, you will likely need cabs or use public transit to get anywhere. My only real complaint is that the built in hair dryers do not really work - not hot enough. If you care, bring your own as they do not have handheld option available.
Nice reception staff and nice rooms. Excellent shuttle service to the airport and metro station at 400mts walk. There is a VIPS just next to the hotel and several budget restaurants in the area. I would suggest to improve room service food quality and the bed was a quite hard I would definitely go back. If you are a night owl, there is a direct nightbus from Cibeles to the hotel (bus N5)
Good quality hotel, only 15 minutes for the airport and has a good selection of bars and cafes nearby. Hotel is well kept, quiet and seems to have nice and quiet Aircon. Staff friendly and approachable. It was a business was trip and very convenient for my work, but it also close to the city by metro if you want a relatively cheap stopover. If you like beer, definitely check out Mad Brewing, a craft brewery and bar about 15 mins walk away
We arrived around 8:00 pm, I don't know if it was full but they gave us a room facing the street, the street was being worked on, we could here it all night long , the beep form the trucks on reverse and very noisy. Not usual but this time it was tough to sleep. The beds are comfortable but the pillows are kind of old as well as the carpets. The bathroom was clean. There is a shuttle to and from the airport, call them to pick you up, close at 10:30 pm Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Great team! We had dinner at the restaurant the waitresses are kind of moody, after the Real Madrid soccer game, I had a delicious rice and chicken meatball dish. Overall it's a good hotel to stay if you fly out early the next morning
Stayed here with my partner, we both enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet, the breakfast was lovely and so was the club sandwich. We enjoyed the little bar outside which had a cooling mist which was great in the heatwave. My only niggle was the bed, it dipped in the middle and was very creaky, saying that it looked like the hotel was being renovated so we may have got an older part of the hotel. All in all we would go back.
This is the first hotel of my tour through Spain and Portugal. We had no choice but to use this hotel. But there is NO AC that works sufficiently. Yes, if you stand with your hand right in front of the vent, you feel cool air but the minute you step away, and go to your bed, no cooling. I asked the handy man if we could borrow his ladder to sleep right in front if the vent and he laughed. Well, I'm not laughing. They gave us another room but still it feels the same. We put it on 5 degrees Celsius with the fan all the way at 3. We left it like that for 2 hours and NOTHING. They keep telling us that it needs time to cool down but we gave it time. So not happy. I had to translate this into Spanish so they could understand be better: we've had the air on 5 degree Celsius for 2 hours and nothing.you put it on level 3 and nothing changed.yes, when you put your hand right in front of the vent you feel a little something but it's not enough to be comfortable.
The location is pretty far from the center and ideal if you have transportation. The rooms are fine and clean and the breakfast has a wide variety and GOOD coffee. Certainly convenient and positive experience.
We stopped here just the one night after flying in to Madrid late in the evening. Easy to find from the airport. It offers plenty of parking. Rooms are of a decent size and very clean. We ate at the bar area as it was late. And only had a light snack. The food was of a good standard.
I left very satisfied with this comfortable and decent business hotel. Very professional and friendly staff, they make everything seem effortless. It is one of those places I would surely recommend to anyone looking for a no-fuss no-frills but comfortable place to stay in Madrid. Close to everything including the airport, the Retiro, the Prado yet not in a busy area. Perfect for work and rest.
The room was comfortable, the staff helpful and friendly, The location was good for us, being halfway between downtown and the airport, but some people might prefer to be closer to the downtown area. The hotel has a nice restaurant/bar, but it was too hot (44C) while we were there to sit outside. The biggest negative is that the carpets should have been replaced 10 years ago.
