Wonderful hotel and staff.
Top property, business oriented. Restaurant on site Santceloni with 2 Michelin stars is one of the best in Madrid.
Until now the Best we found. Location, and atention were insuperable . Very recomendable. Regards
Beautiful hotel and fabulous staff. I was spoiled. Thank you
The hotel and rooms are very nice and top shape. Excellent location too. Staff somewhat overwhelmed by volume of passengers, not too responsive. I left behind an item in the room and although cane back twice the same day, they were useless and made me wait unreasonably long, to no avail. Breakfast was excellent though pricey (26 EUR)
Staff was very friendly. We arrived early and the front desk attendant made every effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were nice and clean, amenities were not replaced everyday (there for 6 nights, but ran out of a few items). Turndown service is nice touch, but happened inconsistently. Nespresso machines in every room, but one day we got a used capsule ( not used by us) placed in the box where new capsules go . The hotel is in a nice part of town ( quiet, 10 minute walk to Calle Serrano which has a lot of shopping and dining options). It is much quieter and not touristy. Subway is right outside and usually just 1 transfer to main sites. Overall, a nice hotel ( more like a 4 star) with friendly and helpful staff, but needs a slight improvement in housekeeping services. I would stay here again.
Cramped room. Very good bath and features. Could not cool the room due to their "cooling system" when temperatures outside varied. Sweated the 3 nights we spent there and the staff could not do anything to solve the problem and cool the temp in our room. Will not come back to this hotel. Absolutely not a five star hotel. I wonder who gives the star rating in some of these hotels. Is it regulated by the spanish government?
This hotel was undoubtedly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. It is a Michelin rated hotel and that is very apparent in the impeccable service and great attention to detail. The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful and seemed to actually enjoy their job. Our maid was precious--she was an adorable short lady that could have been my second mother. The room was luxurious and clean. My favorite part was the bedet :-P. I only wish that there had been a bigger fridge and a less expensive breakfast buffet. The food was delicious--some of the best I ate
Great hotel. Very friendly staff, clean, large rooms. It was a little far from the city center, but bus/metro access right outside. Just a short ride in to downtown. On the upside, you're away from all the crowds and the noise of the main square. Would definitely stay again. Free wifi, fridge in room, nice bed and amenities.
